Pro Wrestling Revolution presents SHAZAM! June 27th, 2004 - Santa Ana Elks Lodge 1. Takuya Nobu vs El Caliente 2. Johnny Malibu vs Black Bison 3. Tony Cameron vs Kendrick Lane 4. Cabana Boy X vs Amatsu Mikaboshi 5. Crusher Tyler/Jaiden Andrews vs Calisto Dufresne/Tyson Bryson 6. Juvenil Infierno vs Matthew Yates **************************************** [We fade in from black to the exterior of the Santa Ana Elks Lodge. A line of fans is out the door, screaming, waving their arms... and generally trying to get on camera. Our shot pans by a young Chinese boy waving a "JUVY JUICE" sign next to someone in a Juvenil Infierno mask who is arguing with him. Further down the line, we see a wild haired older man wearing a t-shirt that reads "JAIDEN" in duct tape...ooooookay. It's time for the Revolution to continue. The shot fades to the inside of the Elks Lodge, the fans roaring as "Unsung" by Helmet kicks in over the PA. After a few moments, Jason Dane springs through the curtain, waving his arms to the sky as the cheers grow louder. He slaps a few hands, dressed in a orange and white "PWR" logo t-shirt, before rolling under the ropes into the ring.] JD: Tonight... THE REVOLUTION CONTINUES! [Big pop!] JD: Tonight... we transform mere mortals into heroes! [Confused pop.] JD: Tonight... I say... SHAZAM! [Dane drops the mic, tearing his (obviously pre-cut) PWR t-shirt to reveal the spiffy logo that can only be associated with Captain Marvel's catchphrase. The crowd goes mild.] JD: C'mon! SHAZAM! [You can audibly hear a few giggles from the crowd.] JD: You guys suck. I paid big money for this shirt at Comic-Con last year! [More giggles.] JD: Dammit. Fine. [A dejected Dane looks serious again suddenly.] JD: Before we get going, we do have a couple announcements to make. Leading into the show, there had been some rumors that Stevie Scott would be here tonight... [BIG POP!] JD: Unfortunately, there were some travel problems with Stevie... and he will not be here tonight. [A ripple of disappointed boos goes through the crowd.] JD: We hope to have Stevie's return to PWR at next month's event... more news on that in the coming days. We also regret to announce that due to visa issues, the debut of Amatsu Mikaboshi will also not be taking place tonight. [A few more boos.] JD: Refunds are available at the door for anyone who wants to leave... but I encourage one and all to stay because you're in for one hell of a show! And we're about to kick things off here... but before we do, allow me to introduce to you the man who will be my color commentator for the opening contest here tonight... he is a former World Junior Heavyweight Champion and is one of the head trainers at M-DOJO...ladies and gentlemen... JUVENIL INFIERNO! ["Fire In The Sky" kicks in to a huuuuuuge pop from the PWR faithful as Infierno bursts through the curtain, slapping hands with everyone he can reach on his way to the announce table. He's clad in his usual mask with an M-DOJO t-shirt on.] JD: Juvy will be with me for our opening match... and I'll be back in here later tonight to make a couple big announcements about the upcoming J*STAR festival! [MASSIVE POP!] JD: And now, your favorite ring announcer and mine... the _lovely_... Melissa Cannon! [Melissa steps into the ring from her ringside chair to a nice pop from the PWR faithful. She bows to Dane, taking the mic from him as he makes his exit and heads over to join Infierno at the announce table.] MC: Welcome to SHAZAM! [Big pop!] MC: Our opening contest is scheduled for one fall and has a twenty minute time limit. [Melissa lowers the mic as "Some Like It Hot" by Power Station blasts over the PA system. El Caliente suddenly bursts through the curtain, dressed in head to toe skintight black vinyl that has red and orange flames flickering up both legs to just above the knees. His upper torso is also covered in the reddish orange "fire". He wears a mask with the area above his nose cut out to just below his chin, fully exposing a large part of his face. The mask is also black vinyl with flames arcing up from the back of his neck to his forehead.] JD: We get our first look at El Caliente, one of my guest color man's students, of the night. Welcome out here, Juvy... I have to ask you, are you out here to get a look at Nobu? Ê JI: It's a simple reason why I'm out here ... I'm here to make sure that Nobu doesn't do anything stupid and hurt one of my students again.Ê Otherwise, I'm just here to watch the match. JD: Good to hear. It should be an exciting matchup as Takuya Nobu makes his singles debut here tonight after a trios victory with Golden Tiger and Angel Demente by his side last month at Who's The King. [Caliente takes a quick bow in the direction of his teacher as he springs up onto the apron, slingshotting over the ropes and into the ring.] JD: The athleticism of El Caliente already on display before the match even begins. JI: He'd better save some of that energy for the ring. With an opponent as experienced as Nobu is, he may need it. [The 80's tune cuts off and is replaced by "King of Transexualvania" by Kyohei Yamada. Nobu springs through the curtain, casting a glance at Infierno before skipping down the aisle... yes, skipping.] JD: The former Zokugun Sangai member is in the house and... well, we'll assume he's ready for battle. You never can really tell with his attitude outside of the ring. JI: I just hope Caliente doesn't see that attitude as weakness and take Nobu too lightly. That could be a very dangerous move. [Nobu has a really slight dark-skinned build under his bleached white hair that is streaked with bright blue coloring. He wears full-length pastel pink and powder blue tiger-striped tights and matching pink boots. As he hops up on the apron, we catch a glimpse of his tattoos reading "Zokugun Sangai" across his chest.] JD: Nobu has got the fans all over his case, Juvy. I'd imagine a lot of that has to do with his attitude towards you. He seems to really want to get you in the ring... but from I understand, you asked to face Nobu ... challenged him, even, but Nobu declined.Ê Why do you think that is? Ê JI: It's because he doesn't want to own up to what he's done or the way he's been acting.Ê He's harboring some kind of weird grudge over me for defeating him in a year or so ago. Ê JD: You really think that's why he's angry? Ê JI: Honestly, I don't know what to think.Ê Nobu isn't exactly the most normal of people.Ê However, he's a tremendous wrestler and I can't deny his abilities in that ring. [The white and blue haired grappler steps into the ring, settling into the corner as Melissa Cannon retakes the mic.] MC: Introducing first...from Mexico City, Mexico... standing 5'7 and weighing in at 165 pounds...representing M-DOJO... ELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL CALIENTEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! [A decent sized pop erupts for the M-DOJO luchador who raises an arm, keeping his masked visage locked on Takuya Nobu.] MC: And his opponent... he hails from Kanazawa City, Ishikawa, Japan... standing 5'8 and weighing in at 162 pounds... TAAAAAAAAAKUYAAAAAAA NOOOOOOOOOOBUUUUUUU!! [Big heel pop for the former ZS grappler. Cannon steps from the ring, leaving the two competitors in the ring with referee Patrick Rodriguez in the middle to keep things under control.] JD: I've been looking forward to this one since it was announced... it really has the potential to be a show stealer, Juvy. JI: It should be a very competitive match, yes. [El Caliente turns his back, tugging the ropes to loosen his shoulders... ...and Takuya Nobu takes advantage of it, charging across the ring and blasting him across the back of the neck with a forearm shot. An explosion of boos accompanies the cheap shot.] JD: Nobu levels Caliente before the bell even sounds! [A frantic Patrick Rodriguez quickly calls for the bell, bringing the match officially to life.] JD: Caliente's down... and Nobu's right on top of him, stomping and kicking him to the mat! [A few hard stomps to the back of the neck gets the crowd riled up, crying out for Nobu's pain.] JD: This is out of hand! Come on, Patrick! JI: Maybe I should be at ringside... this may not be enough to keep Nobu at bay. JD: Please stay right here, Juvenil. We want to keep these matches as free from outside interference as possible. PWR's all about the spirit of battle and competition. JI: I know. But this could become difficult to watch for me. [The Japanese superstar reaches down, pulling Caliente up by the mask and shoving him back into the corner.] JD: Caliente backed into the corner and- "WHAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOOOOOO!" [The big knife edge chop rattles off the chest of the young luchador, an evil cackle accompanying them by Nobu.] JD: Nobu winds up again... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: What a shot that one was! Right on target! [Taking a step back, Nobu drives a boot into the ribcage of Caliente.] JD: Another hard shot to the body. Nobu's trying to knock the wind out of the rookie perhaps. He puts another boot to the gut! [With the rookie reeling, Nobu fires him across the ring with an irish whip... ...a move that El Caliente counters by running up the turnbuckles, backflipping out of them... ...and landing on his feet behind the former ZS member. Big pop!] JD: Caliente lands on his feet! What a move that was! Nobu charges him! [But Caliente catches the charging rudo with an overhead armdrag that sends him sailing across the ring.] JD: Whoa! JI: Caliente needs to stay sharp though. Nobu's right back up. [The Japan native charges across the ring again, hoping to strike... ...but the only thing he hits is the canvas as El Caliente expertly executes another overhead armdrag! Big pop!] JD: Another one! Those are beautiful! Nobu's right back up again though, charg- [But suddenly, he changes his mind, diving from the ring to the carpeted floor at ringside. Big pop!] JD: Nobu bails out! He was getting it taken to him and he knew it. Out on the floor, trying to regroup... [The crowd starts to buzz wildly as Caliente leans against the ropes, measuring the recovering Nobu.] JD: He's going after him! El Caliente's gonna fly! [The luchador gets a few steps towards the ropes when an obervant Takuya Nobu races up the short stairway, standing in the back row of the Santa Ana Elks Lodge and pointing angrily at El Caliente.] "Get him back! Bakayaro!" [A few fans in the crowd "ooooh" at the Japanese words. Geeks.] JD: Nobu's waving El Caliente back... he wants Patrick to back him away. [The official obliges, backing the luchador away from the ropes as Nobu walks back through the crowd, pausing to glare at a really dumb fan screaming "REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR!!"] JD: Takuya getting up on the apron, apparently getting back into the ring now. He's still jawing at the referee though. [Nudging Rodriguez aside, El Caliente marches towards Nobu... ...who jabs his thumb into Caliente's eye before grabbing him around the head, dropping down off the apron and clotheslining Caliente on the top rope!] JD: Another cheap shot! Nobu's digging into the bag of tricks tonight to try and take Caliente down. He quickly rolls back in and- cover! One! Two! [Pop!] JD: Not gonna get an M-DOJO student off an eyegouge and a clothesline. [Nobu peels Caliente off the canvas again, quickly pulling him into a front facelock.] JD: Nobu sets... and _snaps_ Caliente over with a suplex! Nicely done! JI: A lot of impact on that move. Caliente's gonna be hurting after that. JD: And another quick cover! One! Two! [Pop!] JD: Still not enough. Nobu obviously wants to end this one quickly though, Juvy... maybe wanting to send the PWR officials and you yourself a message through your student. JI: If he wants to give me a message, he can meet me in the ring and do it. [Pulling Caliente off the mat again, he scoops him up... ...and snaps him down over his bent knee with a lightning-quick backbreaker!] JD: Whoa! What a move by Takuya Nobu!Ê El Caliente just got taken to the mat hard after that one! Ê JI: Like I said, he's a great wrestler, but Caliente is going to have to learn how to face opponents like him or else he'll never succeed. Ê JD: So you actually approve of this match between Takuya Nobu and El Caliente? Ê JI: Of course ... Caliente needs to fight his own battles, which is what he told me earlier this week in the Dojo while we were training.Ê Nobu attacked him and it's going to be up to him to get his own revenge if that's what he wants. [With Caliente down on the canvas, Nobu scales the ropes, stepping up to the midbuckle... and hurling himself backwards with a moonsault across the midsection of the young luchador.] JD: Moonsault! Moonsault! ONE!!! TWO!!! [Big pop!] JD: Caliente fires the shoulder up off the canvas again! [An irate Nobu wraps his hands around Caliente's throat, attempting to strangle the air out of him] JI: Hey!Ê Get in there ref!Ê There's no reason for that kind of stuff! Ê JD: Nobu choking Caliente now and the ref is trying to get in between them to break it up.Ê Nobu must be imagining that it's you in there against him, Juvy. Ê JI: Well, if he really wanted it to be me in there, then he would have accepted my challenge. Ê JD:ÊGood point. And Nobu breaks the hold at Patrick Rodriguez' insistance, now climbing to his feet... and he's heading up again, I think. He steps up to the second rope, looking down... "RYYYYYUUUUUSEI!" [Leaping into the air, Nobu plummets down, backfirst towards the prone body of his opponent... ...and crashes down onto his sternum, quickly flipping over into another cover.] JD: Another one?! ONE!! TWO!!! T- [Pop!] JD: El Caliente's really got this crowd behind him... but so far, it hasn't been enough to get him going. He keeps kicking out... but he hasn't really gotten on track offensively. [Nobu pops back up to his feet and heads to the corner again...] JD: He's going up again... and this time he's going up top! Takuya Nobu's heading for the top rope, really looking to put this match away. [But as he does, he's badmouthing... well, everyone actually.] JD: Who's he talking to? JI: No clue. JD: He's yelling at those fans in replicas of your mask it looks like. JI: Real classy. JD: Nobu's on his way up top... but if he's going, he'd better pick up the pace. This is ridiculous. El Caliente's actually starting to get back to his feet, Juvenil. JI: Come on, kid! [Reaching his feet just as Nobu steps to the top rope, Caliente hurls himself into the ropes... ...crotching Nobu on the top turnbuckle! Huge pop!] JD: NOBU GOT CROTCHED! Caliente with a lunge to the ropes to take down Nobu... and now El Caliente's gotta come up with something to get himself back into this match. He needs to- [Backing to the corner, the young luchador sends a huge explosion of cheers from the fans as he cries out "SPICY HOT!"] JD: Oh my god! He's going for the Spicy Hot Rana right here and now. This is his trademark move, Juvy. If he hits this, it's over. [Sprinting across the ring, Caliente leaps to the bottom rope on the left side and springs up, landing on the second rope on the right side... ...but before he can up another step, Nobu lashes out with a right hand that sends Caliente plummeting off the ropes, crashing down to the canvas with a thud. The crowd groans with disappointment as Nobu stands up, waiting for Caliente to retake his feet.] JD: The young rookie getting up and- [And with a sudden leap, Nobu throws himself into the air, hooking Caliente in a front facelock... spinning around... ...and _planting_ El Caliente skullfirst into the canvas! Huge mixed pop!] JD: SWINGING DDT! ALL IMPACT! JI: I don't know what it's going to take... but this kid needs to get on track in a hurry. JD: Caliente's down! Nobu's a little slow to cover... maybe a little shaken up from the fall from the top. JI: Or still feeling the jolt in his jewels. JD: Hehehe. [Grimacing, Nobu throws an arm across the dazed luchador.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [HUGE POP!] JD: KICKOUT! CALIENTE KICKS OUT! [An irate Nobu pops to his feet, jumping up and down with rage.] JD: Patrick's telling him that it was only a two count... but Nobu is furious. He doesn't believe him. He thinks this match should be all over. [Caliente is pulled up by the mask, a hard boot knocking him back into the corner.] JI: Come on, Caliente!Ê Get in there and take him down!Ê Show him you're not going to be pushed around! Ê JD: Nobu is really doing a number on El Caliente and things aren't looking good for the young luchador.Ê He needs to try and get back in this thing if he wants to survive. Nobu with a whip to the opposite corner... he charges! [Sprinting across the ring, the Japanese native scores with a hard clothesline, slamming Caliente into the buckles. He repeats the process, whipping Caliente to the far side again.] JD: Here he comes! He leaps! [And just before connection, Caliente dives aside, causing Nobu to slam chestfirst into the turnbuckles. Massive pop!] JD: He moves! Caliente avoided the charge and- [HUGE POP!] JD: SCHOOLBOY!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [A massive outcry of disappointment goes up as Caliente pushes his shoulder off the canvas just in time.] JD: So close... so very close. [Sucking wind, Caliente gets to his feet... but so does Nobu, who nails the Mexican from behind to knock him out to the ring apron.] JD: Nobu still on the attack... still taking it to the young rookie. Caliente's out on the apron... and it looks like Nobu's on the way out there to go after him. When do you think you'll finally be able to get that match against Nobu that you and ... apparently even he, wants? Ê JI: As soon as he's willing to accept my challenge.Ê I have told him already that if he really wants to face me, then he can fight me anytime he wants to.Ê I'm not difficult to find and I don't back down from any opponents.Ê Let alone Takuya Nobu. [The crowd buzzes as Nobu steps out on the apron, pulling Caliente to his feet...] JD: EXPLODER?!? JI: No! Not off the apron! [A hard elbow to the side of the head by Caliente breaks the grip, causing Nobu to stagger back... ...and giving El Caliente just enough room to lash out with a superkick.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" [A huge pop erupts as Nobu sails off the apron, crashing down on the apron and rolling back under the ropes.] JD: Caliente with a hard thrust kick! And maybe that's what it'll take, Juvy... maybe that'll turn it all around. JI: I hope so. Someone needs to take it to this guy. [Caliente steps in behind Nobu, hitting the ropes as the Japanese native retakes his feet... ...and leaping into the air, snaring his head between his legs.] JD: Satellite headscissors! [And as the speedy luchador begins rotating, the fans count along.] "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FIVE!" "SIX!" "SEVEN!" "EIGHT!" "NINE!" "TEN!" [And on the end of the tenth rotation, El Caliente spins out of the headscissors, hooking a front facelock...] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: DDT! DDT! DDT! [A dizzy Caliente falls on top of Nobu.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! TH- [HUGE SHOCKED POP!] JD: HE GOT OUT! NOBU KICKED OUT! JI: I thought El Caliente might have had him there, Jason. JD: Caliente staggers up... I think he's pretty dazed from all those revolutions, Juvy. JI: That's the danger in a move like that. You need to make sure the payoff is worth the risk. [With Nobu still down on the mat, Caliente leans in the corner, trying to regroup.] JD: You're in charge right now, if I'm not mistaken. Ê JI: Yeah? Ê JD: Well, couldn't you just order Nobu to have to face you? Ê JI: No, it doesn't work like that.Ê While Todd Michaelson put me in charge of things, he said I can't make any matches with myself in them if the opponent doesn't want it.Ê Otherwise, I could just give myself another shot at the Pacific Title this week. Ê JD: Some would say that you deserve a shot at that title again, anyway, though. Ê JI: Maybe, but it's not my place to say.Ê The only one who can name me the number one contender is Michaelson and I'll be on my way to getting that accomplished when I face Matthew Yates later tonight. [Shaking the cobwebs, Caliente leaps to the second rope, then leaps again to the top... ...and backflips off, floating through the air and scoring with a huge moonsault! Deafening pop!] JD: DOUBLE JUMP MOONSAULT! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [DEAFENING MIXED POP!] JD: SHOULDER UP! NOBU GOT THE SHOULDER UP!! [A frustrated Caliente slams his arms into the canvas, thrusting three fingers in the air at Patrick Rodriguez who denies him.] JD: Caliente thought it was over right there. JI: But he needs to stay focused. He can't lose sight of what he needs to do to beat this man. He's so close right now, he needs to think ahead. [Pushing himself to his feet, Caliente pulls Nobu off the mat... ...and deposits him on the top rope.] JD: Listen to these fans! They know what's coming! "SPI-CY HOT!" "SPI-CY HOT!" "SPI-CY HOT!" "SPI-CY HOT!"Ê [FIred up, Caliente runs in place in the corner for a moment... and races across the ring, leaping to the first rope... ...then to the second... ...and finally to the top, where he snares Takuya Nobu in a rana.] JD: SPICY HOT RAN- what the-?! [Nobu stands, blocking the rana... ...and leaps!] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: SUPERBOMB!! SUPERBOMB BY NOBU!! [The Japanese superstar falls to the side, both men lying motionless on the canvas.] JD: Both men are down. A superbomb on target... and that may have knocked El Caliente out cold. Nobu's trying to roll over... trying to make a cover. He needs to- [But Caliente wisely manages to edge himself away, rolling onto his stomach to avoid a pin attempt.] JD: Very smart move by El Caliente. His training served him well there. JI: It's one of the things I teach all my students. Avoid being on your shoulders in the ring... even if you think you can kick out easily. JD: Nobu sits up, shaking his head... trying to get back on track. [Using the ropes, Nobu pulls himself to his feet, reaching down to pull Caliente up as well.] JD: Caliente slaps his hand away! Right han- [The Japanese star easily ducks the weak punch, hooking a full nelson as El Caliente spins around... ...hoists him up, and _dumps_ him on the back of his head and neck with a released dragon suplex! Huge "OHHHHHH!" pop!] JD: Good...god. JI: I hope he's okay, Jason. That didn't look good at all. JD: I think this one is unfortunately over, Juvenil. That was a brutal fall on the back... maybe even the top of his head right there. I'm afraid El Caliente may be hurt and hurt badly. [Nobu approaches the ropes and points out to Juvenil, who stands up and points right back at him.] Ê JI: What do you want!?Ê I'm right here, Nobu! Ê [Nobu scowls at him and then goes back to work on Caliente.] Ê JI: He's really starting to test my nerves, but he better stay focused or else he's going to find out Caliente is no pushover. Ê [Reaching down, smirking at Infierno, Nobu pulls a limp El Caliente off the mat, tugging him into a front facelock.] JD: Oh come on! Somebody stop this! [Nobu wastes no time in hoisting Caliente into the air... ...and equally wastes no time in dropping straight down, _planting_ Caliente on top of his head!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Dear god. JI: That's it. Just pin him, Nobu. Pin him. [Nobu rolls up to his knees, smirking at the motionless El Caliente. Referee Patrick Rodriguez encourages Nobu to cover... but Nobu just continues to glare at the luchador.] JD: He's not covering, Juvy. JI: He needs to. This match is over. Just end it. JD: I don't- he's getting back up! [The Japanese star pulls El Caliente off the mat, gutwrenching him up...] JI: NO! "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" [The crowd falls silent as Nobu _spikes_ the young rookie into the canvas with a K-Driller. Juvenil Infierno throws the headset off, springing to his feet as Nobu presses a single finger on the chest of the luchador. Commentator Jason Dane is silent, letting Patrick Rodriguez' fast count speak for us all. One. Two. Three. The bell rings, signaling the end of the match as Nobu quickly rolls from the ring as Juvenil Infierno lunges into the ring.] JD: That coward! Stay in there and fight, Nobu! [The former Zokugun Sangai member backs away slowly, keeping an eye on an outraged Juvenil Infierno as he moves towards the entryway.] JD: Takuya Nobu has defeated El Caliente... but that's hardly the story here. After a dragon suplex... a brainbuster... and then a K-Driller, lord knows what kind of condition El Caliente is in! Fans, we need to- yeah, we need some help out here. We're going to get El Caliente some medical attention. [A trio of medical team members race by the retreating Takuya Nobu and make their way to the ring where a glaring Juvenil Infierno is kneeling by his student's side.] JD: This is... this is a bad situation, fans. We've got some EMT staff out here... presumably El Caliente may need to be stretchered out of here. We may even need some kind of trip to a hospital... I'm not sure. [With Infierno's assistance, they're able to get a now semi-conscious El Caliente onto a makeshift stretcher.] JD: Fans, at a moment like this we can only hope that El Caliente, this young man, has not suffered any kind of permanent injury. You can tell by Infierno's body language... man, I would not want to be Takuya Nobu right now. [A standing ovation pays respect to El Caliente as he's carried from view, Juvenil Infierno trailing a few feet behind.] JD: I guess... well, I guess the best thing to do is go back to the ring for our next match. [Melissa Cannon, looking a little unsettled, climbs back into the ring for the next set of introductions.] MC: The following contest is set for one fall with a twenty minute time limit. [Melissa Cannon lets the mic drop to her side as the sounds of "Born To Reign" by Will Smith starts over the PA.] JD: And here comes the Armani Exchange team member. [A shower of boos pours down as the black curtain swings open and Johnny Malibu makes his first appearance in the Santa Ana Elks Lodge. Malibu struts through the curtain, all of nineteen years old as he flexes for the scattered female fans in the crowd.] JD: Johnny Malibu has been on a serious losing streak ever since the debut show of Pro Wrestling Revolution. He scored the winning pinfall on El Caliente in the first match in PWR history with his dragon suplex but ever since then he has fallen short in the ring. Tonight, he hopes the rookie from the Ronin Dojo won't have enough to keep that streak going. [Malibu hops up onto the apron, stepping into the ring. He flips his long brown hair over his shoulder, striking another pose to a scattering of cheers from the women... and a couple men. Not that there's anything wrong with that.] JD: Malibu settles into the corner, looking towards the entryway for the competitor who debuted at PWR's second event, When Darkness Falls, as part of the big Dojo vs Dojo matchup, Black Bison. [The sounds of Will Smith cut short... and are replaced with "Tank" by Life, Sex & Death, the theme of Ronin Dojo.] JD: Here he comes. [Bursting through the curtain in an all-black bodysuit, black boots, and a black mask designed to look like a bison is, obviously, Black Bison. Bison growls and snarls at a few fans by the entryway as he lumbers down the aisle, rolling under the bottom rope into the ring.] JD: We've heard nothing from this youngster since he declared his intent to compete here tonight... something that has unnerved a lot of PWR officials going into this event. [Without warning or allowing Melissa to finish the introductions, Bison storms across the ring... ...and slams chestfirst into the turnbuckles, staggering backwards... ...and right into a quick full nelson by Johnny Malibu who hoists him up, snapping him over onto the back of his head and neck! Huge pop!] JD: DRAGON SUPLEX! DRAGON SUPLEX! [DING DING DING] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! [DING DING DING] JD: Oh my god! What in the world was that?! We've just witnessed a three second victory in Pro Wrestling Revolution! Johnny Malibu has just completely stunned Black Bison with that dragon suplex, scoring a pinfall and shattering his losing streak! [Johnny Malibu gets to his feet, looking down with disdain as Black Bison who rolls from the ring, clutching the back of his neck.] JD: Johnny Malibu with an incredible victory here at SHAZAM!... but he looks like he has something to say now, asking for the mic from Melissa Cannon. [Malibu lifts the mic up, still glaring at Bison.] JM: Someone get this piece of trash out of my ring. [A mixed pop goes up from the PWR faithful, disapproving of his ego but happy by his victory over the Ronin Dojo invader.] JM: So, the big "losing streak" is over, I guess. [Malibu looks around the Elks Lodge.] JM: When something like that piece of garbage is the best PWR can put against me, who'd be surprised that the streak is over? [More boos for the arrogant youngster.] JM: It's time to start a new streak. He was the first... but to anybody in the back, I've only got one thing to say. Which one of you is next? [Malibu tosses down the mic, rolling from the ring to another decent sized heel pop as he makes his way back up the aisle and through the curtain.] JD: Johnny Malibu putting PWR on notice. The losing streak is over... a winning streak begins here tonight. But you have to wonder if that's the last we'll see if Black Bison in PWR. An embarassing loss for sure... but the best competitors can take the worst loss and make something of it. Whether or not Black Bison can do the same will tell us a lot about this young man's character. [Bison is helped through the entrance curtain by a couple staffers.] JD: I'm being told it's my turn to go to the ring and make the announcements I promised earlier... so here we go. [Dane rises, grabbing a house mic so he can... RUNREALLYFASTTOTHERINGANDAVOIDDEADAIR!] JD: Pro Wrestling Revolution is just a few months old now... but already, it is one of the most talked about promotions in the industry. We don't have the budget the big boys have... we don't have the roster stacked with superstars... but we have some of the hardest working guys in the business and the heart to take it to the next level. [Big pop! Dane cracks a grin.] JD: So, it is with the blessing and authority of Pro Wrestling Revolution and Empire Sports that I make the following announcements about "the next level". Negotiations were completed earlier this week... and it is now official... August 29th, 2004 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles... The first ever J*STAR Festival will be held! [HUGE POP!] JD: And with that in mind, we are also proud to announce that negotiations are ongoing with several promotions to participate... and we will be inviting all of the promotions who are involved to name one competitor to represent them... ...in a tournament to award the J*STAR Crown! [Another huge pop!] JD: Names will be announced in the coming weeks. Promotions who have signed on will be announced soon as well. And we are also prepared to announce the three matches from the Showtime X lineup that have been selected by the fans... ...next week. [A huge "You cocktease!" explosion of jeers erupts.] JD: We're giving until July 6th for people to submit their final votes... and then, we will enter negotiations to make those matches a reality once again. [Another big pop.] JD: And finally, in PWR's portion of J*STAR we have announced that Calisto Dufresne will make his first Pacific Title defense. Who will his opponent be? At this moment, we are making rumor official. City Jack will be here next month in Santa Ana. And in his status as the #1 international contender... he will do battle with someone to determine the first challenger. If Juvenil Infierno defeats Matthew Yates here tonight, he will move on to face City Jack for the title shot. If he loses... [Dane pauses.] JD: Well, we haven't figured that out yet! [Pop!] JD: But I guarantee we'll know tomorrow night. So, fans... enjoy the rest of your show! [And as Dane makes his way back to the announce table, a chant starts up.] "THANK YOU, JA-SON!" clap clap clapclapclap "THANK YOU, JA-SON!" clap clap clapclapclap "THANK YOU, JA-SON!" clap clap clapclapclap "THANK YOU, JA-SON!" clap clap clapclapclap "THANK YOU, JA-SON!" clap clap clapclapclap [Dane grins, a big bow as he sits back down to put his headset on.] MC: The following contest is set for one fall with a thirty minute time limit and is the second matchup in Tony Cameron's Open Challenge! [Cannon lowers the mic as Goldfinger's cover of the Duran Duran epic hit "Rio" blasts over the PA system. The crowd rises to its' feet, eyes on the curtain that covers the entryway.] JD: It's time to get Classy! [The curtain parts and Kendrick Lane makes his first appearance in Pro Wrestling Revolution. It's been a long time since we've last seen Kendrick Lane. He's put on quite a bit of muscle since he's left for rehab, literally returning a new man. Gone is the neatly trimmed goatee and the long ponytail, replaced by a clean-shaven, with slicked-back hair, blonde pretty boy. However, Kendrick still wears his standard red wrestling trunks, with red and black kneepads and elbowpads, along with shoot fighter-esque gloves on each hand.] JD: Welcome to the Revolution, Mr. Lane. [Kendrick Lane ignores the jeering fans as he rolls under the bottom rope into the ring, popping to his feet and... well, sexually harassing Melissa Cannon before settling into the corner to wait for his opponent. A few moments later, the opening chords to "Godzilla" by Fu ManchuÊblast over the PA system as the curtains are batted open, and Tony Cameron walks out to a good sized pop.] JD: Tony Cameron, back in action here tonight as his Open Challenge series continues. He's hoping this one goes a little bit better than his all-over-the-building brawl he had with Blackwater Bart last month. What a war that one was. [Dressed in blood red wrestling tights, with black boots, kneepads and elbow pads, and a sleeveless leather trenchcoat hanging over it all, Cameron stands at the head of the aisle for a moment, letting any reaction he may garner wash over him. He rolls his shoulders and cracks his knuckles, then begins to slowly walk down the aisle, coat billowing behind him. The fans stick their hands out, attempting to touch him or pat him on the back, but Cameron remains focused, walking through them all and then hopping onto the ring apron, before ducking in the ring. Cameron shrugs off the trench coat and then throws it over the ropes, ostensibly at a ring attendant. As he loosens up his arms and neck, Tony backs into the corner, paying no attention to the ref or his opponent.] MC: Introducing first... he hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan... [MAJOR HEEL POP! You're from Michigan, you twisted fuck!] MC: Standing 6'5 and weighing in at 270 pounds... CLASSY KENDRICK LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!!! [Lane steps to the middle buckle to soak up the cheers... and gets none, waving his arms violently at the jeering crowd still trying to forget that he's from Michigan.] MC: And his opponent... standing 6'5 and weighing in at 280 pounds... hailing from Allentown, PA... TOOOOOOOOONYYYYYYYYYYYY CAAAAAAAAAAAMERONNNNNNNNNNNN!!! [A good sized pop for the grizzled veteran as he thrusts a lone arm in the air.] JD: Melissa exiting the ring... referee Steve Stevens in there with a few words of instruction for both men. And there's the bell! This match is underway! [Tony Cameron wastes no time in striding to the center of the ring, waving for Lane to come out to the middle and join him. An uneasy Lane edges down the ropes, staying within reach of them.] JD: Kendrick Lane doesn't look too enthused about the idea of going toe-to-toe with Tony Cameron, that's for sure. [Cameron refuses to budge as Lane circles, trying to find an opening.] JD: Lane may have bitten off more than he can chew here tonight... Tony Cameron looks _jacked_ and ready for battle. After that fight with Bart last month, I'd say this guy can go through anything. [Lane takes a step away from the ropes and lunges into a tieup with the big man.] JD: Collar and elbow tie...both men jockeying for posit- [HUGE POP!] JD: Cameron throws him down with authority! A lot of power in the upper body of Tony Cameron and he just showed that to one and all. Kendrick Lane slaps the mat in anger... getting back to a knee, now all the way to a vertical base. [Cameron waves for Lane to try it again... and a reluctant Classy One does it.] JD: Back to the tieup... oh! Lane brings a knee up into the midsection of Tony Cameron. [With the big man doubled over, Lane drives the point of his elbow into the back of Cameron's neck... once...twice... three times before snap maring him down to the canvas.] JD: Down to the mat goes the PA native. [Lane plants a hand on each shoulder, holding Cameron in place, then drives the kneecap into the base of the neck. He leaves it in place, pulling back on Cameron's chin.] JD: Posted chinlock by the Classy One... a very painful hold. Especially for someone with a history of neck trouble... and for someone who took a Piedra Lariato a month ago. [Climbing back to his feet, he pulls Cameron off the canvas and pastes him across the face with a right hand that sends the Pennsylvania native falling back into the buckles.] JD: Kendrick Lane is taking it to the veteran right now, backing him into the turnbuckles. Oh! Hard headbutt to the bridge of the nose causes Cameron to fall back, barely able to stay on his feet. [Lane drives a pair of knees into the midsection of his dazed opponent before grabbing the arm.] JD: Whip out of the corner... here he comes! [The Classy One stampedes across the ring... leaps into the air... ...and connects with a clothesline in the buckles!] JD: Cameron staggering out... hooked! [Lane snares his victim in a bearhug before falling back, hurling Tony Cameron up and over his head and down to the canvas!] JD: Overhead belly to belly! Nicely done by Kendrick Lane and he's in complete control of this match in the early goings. Kendrick Lane is out to send a message to the rest of the company in his first night in PWR. Lane with a cover... One! Two! [Cameron easily pushes out of the lateral press to a scattering of applause from the fans.] JD: No! Tony Cameron pushed out of the pin attempt... and Kendrick Lane is right back to his feet, sizing up his downed opponent... [And drops a leg down across the back of Cameron's neck before he can get back to his feet.] JD: Lane puts his knee down on the neck...oh my! Hairpull! [The crowd boos wildly as Lane pulls back on Cameron's hair, pulling his neck right into Lane's knee.] JD: That's illegal, referee! Get in there! [Lane looks innocent as a four count comes down on him... then quickly breaks the hold.] JD: Kendrick Lane pulls him off the mat, shoving him back into the corner again... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: Big knife edge chop! Another irish whip to the far corner... he charges again! [But this time as Cameron approaches the buckles, he leaps into the air, landing on the second rope... ...and springs back with an elbow that catches Kendrick Lane square in the jaw! Big pop!] JD: Good counter by Tony Cameron! He may need to take a different tact with Lane as he dealing with someone about his same size. I'm still surprised at the throwdowns on the collar and elbows... it had to be more about Cameron's intensity than his power. [Both big men crawl off the canvas slowly... ...and Cameron lashes out with a sharp right hand to the jaw that sends Lane falling back into the corner.] JD: Kendrick Lane in the buckles... Cameron moving in on him. [But Lane returns the favor, burying a boot in the gut of the approaching Cameron. Grabbing a handful of hair, he attemps to drive his face into the turnbuckles... ...but Cameron blocks it by grabbing the top rope! Big pop!] JD: He blocked it! [Cameron drives an elbow back into the gut of Lane... and then drives the Classy One's face into the buckles instead! Another big pop!] JD: Lane staggers out of the corner... Cameron drops down, he's ready... he's set! [As Lane turns around, Cameron sprints across the ring... ...and _obliterates_ Kendrick Lane with a spear tackle! Huge pop!] JD: SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! Cameron drops down on top of Lane! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [HUGE SHOCKED POP!] JD: Lane kicks out! Lane gets the shoulder up! I thought it was over right there for sure, fans. Kendrick Lane kicks out of the spear attempt by Tony Cameron and Cameron looks surprised as hell. [A surprised Tony Cameron pulls himself to his feet... then pulls Lane up by the hair.] JD: Cameron fires him to the ropes... cocks the arm... [And swings it wildly in a lariat attempt that comes up empty as Lane ducks under the clothesline attempt... ...and jabs his fingers into Cameron's eyes. Heel pop!] JD: Cheap shot by Kendrick Lane... classy my ass. [A boot to the gut doubles over Tony Cameron. Lane hooks him in suplex position.] JD: Kendrick's set... he lifts... and brings Cameron crashing down with a big vertical suplex! He's hanging on though, rolling back to his feet while holding the suplex... [Back to his feet, he hoists him up again... ...and again brings him crashing down with a vertical suplex!] JD: A second suplex by Kendrick Lane... and it looks like he's _still_ not done, rolling back up a third time. Lifts again! Impressive! He's not lifting a cruiserweight up for these things either! [But this time, Lane pauses before falling back, holding Tony Cameron high in the air, his arms shaking from the strain. Ever helpful, the crowd starts to count how long the delay is...] "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FIVE!" "SIX!" "SEVEN!" "EIGHT!" "NINE!" "TEN!" [And finally, Lane falls backwards, bringing Cameron crashing down to the canvas! Big pop!] JD: Impressive delayed suplex by Kendrick Lane... and he throws himself over Cameron for a cover! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [Pop!] JD: Not enough. Not enough to keep Tony Cameron down. [Lane pushes himself back to his feet, glaring at the stunned Cameron.] JD: Kendrick looks fired up, fans. He looks like he's a man on a mission. [Throw your hands in the air. Wave 'em like you just don't care.] JD: Pulling Cameron off the mat... bearhug! [Lifting the PA native off the canvas, Lane stumbles towards the corner, driving him spinefirst into the buckles... ...then rotates on the rebound, _planting_ Tony Cameron into the canvas with a spinebuster! Huge pop!] JD: Oklahoma Stampede Spinebuster! What a move! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [BIG POP!] JD: NO! NO! Tony Cameron won't stay down! [A frustrated Lane kicks the ropes as he gets back to his feet, pulling Cameron up by the hair.] JD: Lane... oh my! He's going for a press slam! [The big Michigan native hoists Cameron into the air... ...but the man from Allentown slips over the top, landing on his feet... ...and immediately falling to a knee, screaming out in pain.] JD: What the-?! Fans, I think Tony Cameron just hurt his knee! When he slipped out, I think he buckled that knee and- [Seizing the moment, Kendrick Lane runs to the ropes, rebounding back... ...and _drives_ his shoulder into the injured knee! Huge heel pop!] JD: Oh come on, Lane! We need to check on the man's knee! Get the hell- dammit, no! [Grabbing the foot, Lane quickly applies a standing figure four leglock.] JD: NO! NO! Somebody stop this! Somebody- [Before Lane can really crank the pressure on, referee Steve Stevens calls for the bell.] JD: Stevens stopped it! Ref stoppage! [Stevens immediately pulls Lane off of Cameron, who screams in pain at his knee being straightened out.] JD: Tony Cameron's knee... I think he may have torn something. He landed badly on it trying to counter the suplex attempt...err, the press slam attempt, I mean. Then Lane clipped the knee... and then applied a standing figure four! [Pushing Lane aside, referee Steve Stevens raises his arms in an "X", leaning down to check on Cameron as a trio of PWR officials and medicial team members make their way quickly through the curtain.] JD: We sure didn't want to see the medical staff again here tonight... but it doesn't look like we're getting a choice in the matter, fans. Tony Cameron is hurt and hurt badly... just as El Caliente was earlier in the show. Once again, the rudos of PWR are laying waste to everyone in their paths. [A determined Cameron rolls to the floor and with the aid of the medics is able to hobble down the aisle to a standing ovation from the PWR faithful.] JD: Kendrick Lane with an impressive debut... and you've just gotta wonder if we just witnessed the last match in Pro Wrestling Revolution of Tony Cameron. Fans, coming up next, we were scheduled to see- [Interrupting Jason Dane, "The Hardest Button To Button" by the White Stripes kicks in to a huge pop from the Pro Wrestling Revolution fans.] Ê JD: Whoa. This isn't what was scheduled, fans. We're supposed to be kicking off the second half of the show with a match between Cabana Boy X and whoever was going to replace Amatsu Mikaboshi. But Kenta Kitzukawa is on the scene and- Ê [The curtain parts and Kitzukawa storms through it, going straight to the ring with fire in his eyes and fighting spirit in his soul as he rolls under the bottom rope.] Ê JD: Kenta's wasting no time at all. We know he was hoping to face Caleb Temple one on one here tonight... but from what we're understanding, that request was declined by PWR officials. Kitzukawa can not be pleased with that and perhaps that's why he's out here. Ê [Ring announcer Melissa Cannon offers the house mic to Kitzukawa... who shakes his head in refusal.] Ê JD: I don't understand. Kitzukawa is refusing the mic... he's in there dressed for a fight, but he's not- Ê [Kitzukawa pauses, glaring at the curtain. He leans his head back and bellows in a gutteral cry.] Ê "TEMMMMMMMMPLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!" Ê [A massive pop rings out from the fans, as eager to see Kenta hook it up with Caleb as Kenta is to do it.] Ê JD: There's no surprise here. Kenta Kitzukawa wants Caleb Temple in that ring... sanctioned or not. He wants payback for what's been done to his teacher, Todd Michaelson, both physically and mentally over the past few months. Kitzukawa is pacing around the ring like a caged animal. Ê [The prize student of M-DOJO walks back and forth by the ropes closest to the entryway, eyes locked on the curtain for any sign of the King of the Death Match.] Ê JD: We know Caleb Temple has been sanctioned to be here. The ban has been lifted... he may show up in Pro Wrestling Revolution at any time... and we all assumed he would be here tonight. There's been no sign of him as of yet... but Kitzukawa doesn't give a damn. Ê [Suddenly, the lights go out... Ê ...and the sounds of "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff blasts out over the PA system to a deafening mixed pop!] Ê JD: TEMPLE! TEMPLE'S HERE! HE'S IN THE SANTA ANA ELKS LODGE! Ê [The lights remain out, the crowd roaring for several moments. The music continues to play, creating an eerie atmosphere for one and all.] Ê JD: Who knows what's going to happen here?! Temple could come from anywhere! He could come out here at anytime! He could- Ê [And just as suddenly as they extinguished, the lights come back on... Ê ...to reveal nothing.] Ê JD: What the-?! Where is he?! Ê [Kenta Kitzukawa's eyes dart around the building, trying to find the devious bastard.] Ê JD: Kenta can't find him... I don't see him either. Caleb Temple's music hit... the lights went out... but when they came back up, there's no sign of him. Ê [Kitzukawa shouts at a PWR official at ringside who shrugs his shoulders.] Ê JD: No one has a clue, Kenta! We don't know where he is either. It appears that Caleb Temple is _not_ here in Santa Ana tonight. We all assumed he'd be here... but right now, it seems that Caleb Temple's playing the ultimate mindgame. For months, he's tried to get into this promotion... for months, he's shown up without being welcome... and now that he's been invited in? Ê [A frustrated Kitzukawa kicks the bottom turnbuckle.] Ê JD: He doesn't show up. Caleb Temple isn't here... and Kenta Kitzukawa can't believe it. He can't- Ê # ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHA # Ê JD: What the hell is this now? Ê [The traditional Hawaiian greeting quickly makes way for the strains of Rupert Holmes' one and only hit, "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" As the fans turn their attention towards the aisle, a very excited, and very eager looking youngster comes bursting through the curtain decked out in a technicolor Hawaiian shirt.] Ê JD: That's Cabana Boy X. He's scheduled to be in the ring right now for a match... but I don't think it's the right time for this youngster to be coming out here. Look at Kenta Kitzukawa... he's inflamed with rage. Cabana Boy X may be making a big mistake. Ê [His arms extended to slap the hands of the fans, the masked grappler quickly sprints down the aisle towards the squared circle and dives underneath the bottom rope. Never missing a beat he lunges to his feet, leaps to the second rope, and then vaults backwards to the center of the ring with a twisting backflip, tthrowing his arms into the air in "Tah-dah" fashion.] Ê JD: Kitzukawa's eyes are locked on Cabana Boy X... locked on- Ê Ê Ê "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" Ê "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ê Ê Ê JD: LARIAT! LARIATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Ê [A deafening pop goes up as Kenta Kitzukawa connects with a lariat that sends Cabana Boy X flipping through the sky, sailing through the air, and deposits him with a massive thud on the canvas!] Ê JD: AAAAAABUUUUUUUNAAAAAAAAI!!! Ê [Kitzukawa stands over a motionless Cabana Boy X, glaring coldly at him as the crowd continues to roar.] Ê "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap Ê [As the chant continues, Kitzukawa raises the right arm to the sky, showing off the massive limb he used to knock Cabana Boy X into total unconsciousness. When suddenly... a new sound comes from the PA... music unfamiliar to PWR fans.] Ê # Go... on... if you want it # # An Otherworld awaits you # # Don't... you... give up on it # # You bite the hand that feeds you # Ê [All eyes turn to the entrance, as a man who has become all too familiar worldwide emerges.] Ê JD: What the hell?! Am I seeing things? Ê # All alone, cold fields you wander # # Memories of it, cloud your sight # # Fills your dreams, disturbs your slumber # # Lost your way, a fallen knight # JD: My god... I never dreamed I'd say this but... KTULU JUST WALKED INTO THE ELKS LODGE! Ê [With his jet black hair tied in a ponytail, NEO-Pro's martial arts machine looks at the PWR crowd, who boo him mercilessly. He's dressed in simple black pants and a black t-shirt, with extremely dark-red shades over his eyes.] Ê JD: I don't understand... he's not scheduled to be here, fans. While PWR has had a good relationship with NEO-Pro since our birth, we never expected to see one of their stars show up here. I mean, this is one of their top guys... and well, you can tell from the look on Kenta's face that he had no clue that Ktulu was going to be here either! Ê # Hold... now... aim is steady # # An Otherworld awaits you # # One... thousand... years, you ready? # # The Otherworld, it takes you # Ê [Ktulu steps onto the ring apron, stopping and locking eyes with Kitzukawa. He slowly removes his shades and slips them into his pocket. With a small chuckle, a smile appears on his face as he motions for a mic.] Ê JD: Kenta Kitzukawa will not take his eyes off this guy for a second. I have no idea what he's doing here... and until we know why he's in Santa Ana tonight, I think everybody in this building is going to be very careful. Ê [As the NEO-Pro-ite raises the mic to his mouth, the crowd lets him know quite clearly that he is anything but welcome here.] Ê K: Hahahahaaaaaaa. Thank you so very, _very_ much for your warm welcome! It's a pleasure to be here with... Ê [He pauses...] Ê K: Who am I kidding? Being here in the middle of this ring, surrounded by all you bellycrawling insects... Ê It makes... me... _SICK_!! Ê [HEEL POP~!] Ê K: For all of you, this is the greatest moment in your lives! The moment when a man of such greatness lowers himself to letting you miserable plebians so much as _look_ at him! Ê For all of you, this is the most important time of your lives! But for me? Ê [And with that, he looks... at his wristwatch?] Ê K: This is about the time of day when I sit down and count the numerous ways I'm better than aaaaaaalllll of you. Ê [ANOTHER HEEL POP~!] Ê JD: This man is totally out of line talking to our fans like that. We've never shown anyone who showed up in Pro Wrestling Revolution anything but the utmost respect... but this guy is stomping our last good nerve! This isn't the kind of person we need or _want_ here in PWR, fans! [Ktulu smirks, continuing.] Ê K: But instead, I decided to take a special trip here to deliver a message. Now... Ê [He again turns his eyes to Kenta.] Ê K: Since your little naptime buddy here has a head start on ya, I guess you'll have to do. This little thing coming up... J*STAR or something like that... you know what I'm talking about, don't ya? Bleh, who asked you anyway? Ê [HEEL POP!] Ê K: But mark my words, and mark them well: NEO-Pro will be there. [A big mixed pop from the PWR fans.] JD: Did I hear that right?! NEO-Pro has committed to be at the J*STAR Festival!? That would make them the first promotion to commit... and my god, this event just took a huge step in the right direction! [The "messenger" continues.] K: And just like we've done everywhere else, we're going to steal the show. Superior talent, superior work ethic,... Ê [And as Ktulu scans the crowd...] Ê K: Superior fans... Ê [HEEL POP!! HATE HATE HATE!!] Ê K: That's right, you ingrates. Boo me. Boo the truth. But you'll see I'm right. Ê Because I'm going to prove it _personally_! [The crowd buzzes with confusion.] JD: Now what the hell does that mean? Ê [Speak on dis, Ktulu.] Ê K: I know you're all making your little brackets for that tournament, wondering who'll face who, who'll win, who'll lose. Well all that guess work shit ends here. I'm afraid I'm about to spoil the ending for you all. Ê Next time you sit down, write my name in the winner's slot. Ê [HUGE SHOCKED POP!] JD: What the-?! NEO-Pro has selected Ktulu as their representative for the J*STAR Crown Tournament?! Are you kidding me?! This guy... my god, why?!Ê [Ktulu soaks up the jeers from the PWR faithful with a grin.] Ê K: That's right, boys and girls. I'm entering this little shindig, and I'm bringing Hell along for the ride. And the sweetest part? Ê Nobody can do a damn thing about it. [And with that, he throws down the mic... ...and turns to meet "nobody".] JD: KENTA!! KENTA STEPS UP TO KTULU!!! [The crowd explodes into cheers at the show of guts by Kitzukawa.] "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap "KEN-TA!" clapclapclap [The chants continue as the M-DOJO rookie glares into the eyes of the NEO-Pro superstar.] JD: Take that, Ktulu! You may be Mr. Big Time... but PWR backs down from _no one_. You think we're scared off because you showed up here in a limo tonight?! You think we're frightened that you came out here and badmouthed us all?! [Kitzukawa rolls his neck, loosening up.] JD: Well _that_ man... Kenta Kitzukawa is _damn_ sure not afraid of you! And neither are the rest of us! You want a fight, Ktulu?! You got one! [And almost on cue... ...Kenta Kitzukawa _blasts_ Ktulu with a forearm shot that staggers the NEO-Pro star, knocking him back against the ropes.] JD: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! [Fired up, Kitzukawa sprints towards the stunned superstar...] JD: LAAAAAAARIAAAAAAAT- [But Ktulu drops his head, backdropping Kenta over the top rope and down to the carpeted floor below.] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Kenta's down! Ktulu got him down... and he's rolling out to the floor, looking for- [The crowd buzz grows louder as Ktulu grabs a steel chair out from under a fan wearing a PWR t-shirt, shoving him down to the ground. Massive heel pop!] JD: Oh come on! You're a guest here, you son of a- [Kenta rises... ...and the steel chair sun sets.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [The steel chair rattles home, Kitzukawa's head bursting through causing the chair to end up hanging around his neck. A series of quick martial arts thrusts knocks Kenta back towards the main entryway for fans.] JD: Ktulu's got Kenta stunned... looking for- [A desperate Kitzukawa dives at the superstar, taking him down with a tackle to the carpet... and starts pummeling him with rights and lefts, to the thrill of the PWR faithful!] JD: Kenta's taking it to Ktulu! What a battle! [Ktulu reaches up to rake the eyes of Kitzukawa, slipping out of his grip and wandering out the front door. Kenta takes the chair off his neck, throwing it into a nearby wall... ...and charging off into the night, following Ktulu out of the building.] JD: They're taking it to the streets! The streets of Santa Ana are a warzone for Ktulu and Kenta Kitzukawa and- [A huge heel pop rings out from the fans as PWR officials move to block their path, not allowing them outside the building to follow the action.] JD: The fans showing their displeasure for not being allowed to follow the fight... but I understand that's a temporary safety precaution the venue's owners asked us to put in place for tonight after a very dangerous situation during last month's match between Tony Cameron and Blackwater Bart. We can not follow the action outside... but we will give you any updates that become available. What a series of events we just saw! Big announcements... big action... and of course, Caleb Temple showing his true colors by not showing up in Santa Ana here tonight. We thought we'd seen his true colors here before... sneak attacks, hitting women... but maybe tonight, we saw the real Caleb Temple who no-showed when the going got tough. I never thought I'd say this, but maybe Chris Blue had the right idea shit-canning that worthless son of a bitch! I can't believe Todd was dumb enough to even give him one last chance. And if he was here right now, I'd- [Cough.] CT: You'd...? [Uh oh.] JD: What the- [Some off-camera shuffling.] CT: Oh, take a seat, Stegg Lite, I'm not here for trouble. Not with you, at least. [Pop!] CT: Just let me say my piece and then I'll be gone, and you can carry on with your little show. JD: Mic's all yours. Let's hear it. CT: How very hospitable of you. [He chuckles softly.] CT: Kenta... nothing personal there, chief. I have an agenda, and at _this_ moment, you do not form part of that agenda. At some point, our paths may cross, and then and only then, judgement will be laid upon you, and swift and fiery it shall be. Until then, pax vobiscum. My troubles... are with the puppet and his master. Todd, he's still pulling the strings, isn't he? Still back there, in the shadows, making sure you don't eclipse what he achieved. Holding you down, Todd, just like I was held down. And that's why I have come, Todd. I have come to help you. Come... to save you. JD: Oh, for the love of- [Temple shushes him, and Jason wisely stops.] CT: He tried to take it all away from me, Todd, and he almost cost me everything. He'll do the same to you. He'll bleed your baby dry, Todd, and then he'll throw it away. And then what will you have? Nothing. What will become of you... ...and your precious wife. [Big pop!] CT: You heard me. [He chuckles softly again, drops the microphone... and is gone. The camera zooms in on Jason Dane who looks... flustered? He does a throat-cutting gesture and the camera suddenly cuts to black.] ******** [We fade back up from black on the ring where people are slowly filing back to their seats after a "brief intermission."] JD: Welcome back, fans... and I have to say, I think it's best to not even mention what was said right before break. Let's... well, let's just move on to the important stuff! [The camera cuts to the ring where Melissa Cannon is standing.] MC: The following contest is a tag team matchup scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. ["War Pigs" by Black Sabbath starts up to a big heel pop from the PWR fans as Crusher Tyler steps through the curtain, flexing his massive arms for a cheap heel pop.] JD: Crusher Tyler defeated Jaiden Andrews last month at Who's The King to win the unofficial title of "ace" of Pro Wrestling Revolution... but I know a lot of people who'd argue that point. Tyler gets another chance to prove his superiority tonight. A pinfall over Calisto Dufresne in this match would _have_ to put him in line for a shot at the Pacific Title down the road... possibly even at J*STAR. [Tyler steps up onto the apron, stepping into the ring as his music cuts out and is quickly replaced by Saliva's "Superstar".] JD: Here comes Jaiden! [The crowd, normally erupting into boos at the sound of the cocky bastard's music, is now starting to _cheer_ the California native. The curtain parts with Jaiden Andrews walking out. With a cocky smirk upon his face, the man who proclaims himself the "King of the SoCal Indies" stretches his arms out, taking in a third consecutive mixed pop. With a cocky strut in his walk, Andrews begins to make his way down to the ring -- stopping every few steps to show off his physique to the fans who still hate him. Andrews stops right in front of the ring to once again stretch his arms egotistically.] F[BLEEP]K YOU SURF BOY! # CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP # [That chant we're used to... but it's now meshed in with yet another chant from the crowd.] FUCK HIM UP SURF BOY, FUCK HIM UP! # CLAP CLAP # [Not really knowing what the hell is going on, Andrews shakes his head in confusion and slides into the ring under the bottom ropes. He then quickly nips up to his feet in the center of the ring, spinning around with arms stretched. Andrews then walks over to his corner, smirking as he waits for the opponents to hit the ring.] JD: You know Jaiden Andrews has to have real mixed feelings about this match. He tried to show respect to Crusher Tyler last month... and got insulted for his efforts. Now he has to team with him? But on the other side of the coin, much like Tyler, Andrews wants a shot at that Pacific Title perhaps more than anything else. A pinfall on Dufresne puts him in line for that chance. Both of these men are top contenders to replace Juvy in the match with City Jack next month if he fails to beat Matthew Yates later tonight... or perhaps to be the second man to get a shot at the title after J*STAR. [Saliva fades out and is replaced by... #YO I'M A JEDI KNIGHT ON THE DARKSIDE# [And with that, "Baseline" by Quarashi hits the PA, and Tyson Bryson bursts through the curtain and makes his way towards the ring. Bryson plays with the crowd as he approaches the ring, with a mix of trash talk and posing. Following behind him, though walking much slower, is his currently-injured tag team partner Matt James, who sports a neckbrace along with a black sports coat over a white shirt and black tie. Bryson wears black thigh-length wrestling tights with white and pink trim along with black boots, knee pads, and elbow pads. His wrists and fingers are taped.] JD: Tyson Bryson is the man that many have labelled as the "Upset Kid" so far here in PWR. He seems to have a knack for getting the big wins that no one expects him to get... and he's really got that move we've dubbed the Upsetter working for him. #I GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE KICK# #THAT BE COMING FROM THE UNDERGROUND SPOT# #BEATING THE POP UP THE FUCK UP THAT LAYS ALL AROUND# #NOW GIVE ME SOUND FROM THE OTHER SIDE# #EVERY NIGHT# #IT'S GONNA GO ON AND FLOW ON AND ON AND ON AND ON# [Bryson slides into the ring, poses, and then readies himself for the match, testing out the ropes and bouncing back and forth. His music cuts as the sounds of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man" as it begins to blare across the sound system, the crowd responding to the music with a chorus of boos. The camera cuts to the entranceway, where the curtains part to reveal one of PWR's most despised (and annoying) characters, "Ladykiller" Calisto Dufresne. Dufresne is clad in a black three-piece suit, his flowing blonde hair cascading down past his shoulders. The crowning piece of his appearance, though is the PWR Pacific Championship. Fastened around his waist, Dufresne stands at the head of the entryway for many moments, soaking in all of the boos he probably thinks are cheers from his "throngs of adoring fans".] JD: Here comes... god, I can't believe I'm saying... fine, here comes the champ. [He finally begins to make his way towards the ring, ignoring every fan who is screaming obscenities at him. They just hate him because he's beautiful. Yeah, that's it. Dufresne finally makes it to the ring, where he proceeds to climb up the stairs and in through the ring ropes. "The Ladykiller" then proceeds to move to the center of the ring and slowly remove the Pacific Title, raising into the air to a chorus of boos. He then removes his three-piece suit, mostly to the chagrin of the male audience, but a few female shrieks are heard from the crowd as well. Dufresne finally finishes removing his suit, and now proceeds to pose for the crowd, flexing his well-defined muscles as the crowd's ever-increasing boos become more and more evident. Dufresne sneers derisively at the crowd as he moves to the corner, preparing for the beginning of the match, eyeing his opponents (and partner) warily.] MC: Introducing first... from Riverside, California... standing 6'8 and weighing in at 290 pounds... from M-DOJO... CRUSHER TYYYYYYYYLERRRRRRRR!!! [The big man raises a mighty arm to a big heel pop from the PWR fans. He snarls at them as he lowers his arm, leaning back in the buckles.] MC: And his tag team partner tonight... from Anaheim, California... standing six feet tall and weighing in at 229 pounds... JAAAAAAAAAAAAAIDEN ANDREWWWWWS!!! [Andrews leaps to the midbuckle, arms spread wide to a good sized mixed pop from the crowd. He smirks... probably at the jeers as much as the cheers before dropping back down inside the ring.] MC: And their opponents... first, from Inglewood, California... standing six feet tall and weighing in at 240 pounds...he is accompanied to the ring by Matt James... TYYYYYYYYYSON BRYYYYYYYYYYYSON!!! [Another good sized mixed pop... people just aren't sure if they like this guy. Bryson doesn't give a damn, talking last minute strategy with Matt James and keeping an eye on... well, everyone.] MC: And his tag team partner... originally from Avery Island, Louisiana... standing 6'3 and weighing in at 245 pounds...he is the first ever Pro Wrestling Revolution Pacific Champion... He is the Ladykiller... CALISTOOOOOO DUUUUUUUFRESNE!!! [MAAAAAASSIVE HEEL POP! Yep, he's a fucking prick alright.] JD: Four of the top competitors in this company currently are set to collide... and this is going to be a very exciting match with some big implications, fans. [Melissa steps from the ring, leaving the four combatants behind. Referee Steve Stevens immediately steps between the two teams, announcing he needs two in and two out.] JD: The official for this match taking immediate control. He knows how explosive this situation could be. He's got two teams of people who can't stand one another to control... plus the added element of the Pacific Champion being in the match. A win by Jaiden Andrews or Crusher Tyler here could put them in the match with City Jack next month if Infierno fails to defeat Matthew Yates later tonight. If Tyson Bryson and Dufresne win it, Bryson might find himself in that match instead. [On one side of the ring, Bryson and Dufresne huddle together, discussing some last minute preparations.] JD: Those two almost appear to be on the same page... maybe tossing aside their differences to see if they can co-exist to win this match. Bryson's gotta remember all too well the brass knuckles shot he took last month... but maybe the thought of another shot at the gold is enough to bury those feelings deep... for now. [On the opposite side of the ring, Crusher Tyler and Jaiden Andrews are... not getting along at all.] JD: Uh oh. This can't be a good sign for this duo. They're not on the same page at all and this thing hasn't even started yet. This could really get ugly if they can't agree to disagree and get down to business. [A hard shove by Jaiden Andrews brings the crowd to life, wondering if the team will melt down before the bell rings.] JD: Jaiden Andrews is fired up! He wants to- [The crowd "oooooohs!" in a taunting tone as Tyler piefaces Andrews, shoving him back towards the corner.] JD: Calisto Dufresne looks like he's gonna start on his side, stepping into the ring for the very first time as the Pro Wrestling Revolution Pacific Champion. But who will start this thing against him? Jaiden Andrews _does_ have a point... he has the speed, agility, and stamina to last longer in an environment like this. Tyler's the muscle of the team... he may not have the endurance to be the starter. [A few more harsh words are exchanged between the two before Andrews finally gives in, stepping out to the apron.] JD: So it looks like the massive Crusher Tyler will start it out with- "SLAAAAP!" [A huge heel pop goes up as Dufresne slaps the shoulder of Tyson Bryson, stepping out to the apron.] JD: Oh come on! Apparently our "esteemed" Pacific Champion is afraid of tangling with Crusher Tyler, the largest man in the match. [Tyler simply chuckles as Dufresne points Bryson into the ring, insisting he take on the big man.] JD: Some might argue that move is smart considering the size and power of Tyler, but I still say he's just a coward. [Tyson Bryson steps into the squared circle with a look of disdain for his own tag team partner on his face. Longtime ally Matt James is on the floor, shouting encouragement to his friend as he eases towards the massive M-DOJO student.] JD: Bryson moving in slowly... and wisely. You don't want to rush in and make a mistake with a guy like Tyler cause he can turn your lights out in a big hurry. With all that power and strength, he can end a match with one move. [Bryson continues to edge slowly towards the M-DOJO muscleman who smirks arrogantly at his "prey".] JD: Tyson Bryson's gonna need all of his "upset kid" status here tonight. And if he can uncork that tornado ace crusher he's been using as of late at any time, he just might score another big upset. [Grinning, Tyler raises a beefy arm to the air, wiggling his fingers in the universal call for the test of strength.] JD: Oh my. Crusher Tyler is trying to engage in a knucklelock with the much smaller Tyson Bryson. Bryson looks a little wary of it... and who the hell could possibly blame him. There's not a soul in our locker room I'd wager who would want to have a test of strength with this man. [Bryson looks around the arena, a handful of evil fans screaming for him to take Tyler up on it. Some more showing pity and waving him off... the most vocal of which is his longtime tag team partner, Matt James, who is desperate to see Bryson avoid the tieup.] JD: Don't do it, Tyson! You've got no chan- [HUUUUUGE shocked pop!] JD: Bryson's gonna do it! He raises his hand up there to accept it! He's going to test strength with the bull of the PWR woods! [Tyler lowers his hand a bit, just enough so that Bryson can intertwine his fingers.] JD: Here we go! This is gonna be somethi- [Pop!] JD: Bryson with a boot to the gut! He wasn't falling for anything! [The stunned Tyler straightens up, completely exposing his upper body as Bryson winds up...] "WHAAAAAAAP!" JD: Sweet Jesus! What an overhand chop! [A bright red palm print is prominently displayed on the chest of Crusher Tyler for one and all to see, bringing an explosion of cheers from the People of the Revolution.] JD: I think Tyson Bryson is pissed! He was insulted by Tyler trying to play him for a fool and- "WHAAAAAAAP!" JD: Goodness! Another brutal overhand chop! Tyler's staggered from the force of those blows... he may be stunned that Tyson Bryson is bringing it to him with that much intensity. [Wincing from the impact, Tyler tries to suck down the pain... ...and wraps his mighty paw around the throat of the former Despair member! Big mixed pop!] JD: Tyler's got him hooked! He's got Bryson by the throat! He's gonna- CHOOOOOKESLA- [But before Tyler can hoist his opponent into the air for what is sure to be a brutal chokeslam, Tyson Bryson demonstrates some brutality of his own.] JD: KNEE! Bryson kicked him _right_ in the kneecap! You can shatter a patella like that but Tyson Bryson just doesn't care! The Upset Kid just hobbled Crusher Tyler. [Still maintaining the knucklelock, Bryson steps on the back of Tyler's knee, breaking him down to a kneeling position on the canvas.] JD: Crusher Tyler taken down to a knee, Bryson really putting the pressure on with that knucklelock... really trying to- [Stepping up on the bent knee, Bryson _drives_ his knee square into the face of the big man, levelling him flat on his back on the mat.] JD: Mini-Shining Wizard! There was no run... no charge... no flashy gestures. Just a simple step-up knee strike to the jaw that put Crusher Tyler flat on his back. Bryson took the big man down and this crowd is riled up. They're actually in support of Tyson Bryson at the moment. Always cheer the physical underdog, I guess. [A hard push of the knucklelocked hand down to the mat pins Tyler's arm against the canvas. With the arm pinned, it is an easy target for Tyler who drops down across the bicep with a knee.] JD: Ooof! That'll do some damage! This could be a sound strategy by Bryson... if you take out the arm, you take away a lot of Crusher Tyler's offensive arsenal. If he can't lift you, he can't throw you...slam you... whatever. [A few more hard knee drops to the arm leave Tyler grimacing in pain and the crowd marvelling at the technical prowess of Tyson Bryson.] JD: Bryson getting back to his feet, hands still locked with Tyler as he pulls him back to a standing base as well. Both men back to their feet and- "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAP!" [A series of hard overhand chops puts Tyler back in the corner, the bulk of his chest shining bright red from the stinging blows. Keeping the knucklelock applied, Bryson steps up to the second rope to rain right hands down as the crowd counts along,] "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FIVE!" "SIX!" "SEVEN!" "EIGHT!" "NINE!" "TEN!" [But as Bryson prepares to leap down, Tyler hooks him with his free arm around the upper thigh, stepping out of the corner... ...and dropping him down with a sitout spinebuster! Big mixed pop!] JD: Ohhh my! A lot of impact right there! A jolting slam sending a shockwave from the tailbone to the tip of the skull... all the way down to the toes too, I'd imagine. Tyson Bryson has gotta be hurting after that one. [Crusher Tyler easily gets to his feet, shaking off the impact of the ten blows to the skull, using his incredible power to pull Bryson back to his feet with the intertwined knuckles.] JD: Bryson back to his feet and- [Tyler tugs hard on the connected hands, pulling Bryson towards him... ...and _drilling_ him with a short-arm clothesline that dumps the former tag team wrestler back down to the canvas, finally freeing himself of the knucklelock.] JD: Goodness. What a shot by the big man. That overwhelming power was just too much for Bryson on that exchange. Tyler is shaking the arm though, the knees to the bicep probably wore his strength down in that arm some... so the exchange may not have been all for naught. [Reaching down, Tyler tugs Bryson to his feet by the hair.] JD: Irish whip... and Bryson slams _hard_ into the turnbuckles! He hangs on to the ropes, trying to keep himself on his feet after the impact. Oh no. Crusher charges! [The stampeding M-DOJO big man rumbles across the ring... ...and connects with a massive arm across the throat of Bryson, nearly knocking him over the ropes before pulling him back to the buckles.] JD: Dear...god. What power! What impact! [Bryson tries to fall flat, trying to get off his feet to avoid more punishment for the moment... but Crusher Tyler is having none of it as he whips Bryson from corner to corner again, slamming his spine into the buckles.] JD: Another one?! Tyler's like a freight train in there! Here he comes! [And scores again, slamming into Bryson with as much speed as he can muster, leaving a dazed competitor in his wake who staggers from the buckles... ...right into a fireman's carry lift.] JD: DVD! IF HE HITS IT- [But Bryson is too aware, managing to scissor both of his opponent's arms, taking him down to the canvas with a crucifix takedown! Big pop!] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! TH- [BIG DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: Tyler broke the cradle... and he's hot under the collar, springing up to his feet. [Bryson manages to push himself up at near the same time which makes it perfect timing for Tyler who winds way back and lets a haymaker fly.] JD: Big right han- [HUGE POP!] JD: FUJIWARA! BRYSON WITH THE FUJIWARA! [Quickly and wisely, Tyler snakes his arm out to wrap around the bottom rope, causing the referee to call for the hold to be broken.] JD: PWR official Steve Stevens is right on top of it, making sure Bryson breaks the hold. Tyler's grabbing at his arm... really feeling some damage to it this time, I think. He's wincing everytime he moves it. [Pushing Stevens aside, Bryson steps out to the ring apron. He reaches back into the ring over the ropes to grab the rising Tyler's wrist... ...and drops down off the apron, snapping Tyler's arm down over the rubber-encased cable!] JD: Crusher Tyler is cradling the right arm... Tyson Bryson is physically dissecting the big man right now. He's taking that arm apart with surgeon-like precision. [Rolling back into the ring, Bryson pops back up and buries a boot in the gut of the injured M-DOJO rookie.] JD: Bryson hooks him... DOWN! [The crowd groans at the impact as Bryson takes Tyler down with a single-armed DDT.] JD: Goodness! That can separate a shoulder in a hurry! [And one look at Tyler makes you wonder if that's exactly what has happened as the big man rolls to a seated position, cradling his injured arm with his other hand.] JD: Bryson back to his fe- "WHAAAAAP!" JD: Kick to the shoulder! And that puts Crusher Tyler _right_ back down on the canvas. A surgical strike to the injured arm of the big man and Tyson Bryson is showing you don't have to be a physical monster to be a success in the squared circle. [With Tyler rolled onto his stomach, Bryson quickly hammerlocks the wounded limb... ...and drives his knee down onto it. ...and again. ...and again. ...and again. Wash, rinse, repeat until Tyler is howling with pain from every dropped knee and the fans are roaring at the in-ring intensity being shown by Tyson Bryson.] JD: Goodness! He's taking it to the big man! [Keeping his hold on the wrist, he works the M-DOJO monster back to his feet and executes an armtwist, holding the wrist tightly as he reaches over and makes the tag to Calisto Dufresne. Huge heel pop!] JD: And the Pacific Champion checks into the match for the first time, quickly scaling the ropes... [Dufresne pauses on the top rope, flipping off a particularly rabid section of the crowd... ...and drops down with a big double axehandle across the tortured arm.] JD: Nice teamwork on display by Dufresne and Bryson... really adding to the pain Crusher Tyler's gotta be feeling in that right arm. He's waving it like crazy, trying to get some of that pain out of the limb. [Dufresne quickly grabs the wrist of the injured arm, executing an armtwist of his own. With an anguished Tyler at his mercy, the Pacific Champion brings his own arm up hard in an uppercut type blow to the bicep.] JD: Dufresne drives his own arm into Tyler's! Still trying to soften that limb up more. Calisto realizes they've got the big man in trouble and what a feather in his cap it would be to put down one of his top challengers in this tag match. [A few more hard uppercuts to the bicep leave Tyler wounded, falling back into the buckles.] JD: Still holding the arm... oh! Dufresne kicked him in the arm! [The impact of the kick causes Tyler to fall from the corner, landing facefirst on the mat... and allows Calisto Dufresne to pounce once more.] JD: He pins the wrist down, much like Bryson did earlier... but he's stepping on it. Tyler can't move his arm at all and- [Dufresne suddenly leaps into the air, bringing his knee down across the outstretched bicep from a high altitude!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Listen to the cries of agony from Crusher Tyler... he's in terrible pain... just terrible. [The Pacific Champion looks down at the wounded Tyler, a cocky-as-all-hell grin on his face.] JD: Dufresne's pulling him up by the hair... another single-arm DDT! [But as he pulls Tyler into the front facelock... ...Tyler goes with plans of his own.] JD: He blocks it! Tyler blocked the DDT and- [Tyler hoists Dufresne up with his good arm and throws him up and over with a Northern Lights Suplex, releasing at the peak of the lift and hurling the champion across the ring! Huge pop!] JD: HE COUNTERS!! WHAT A THROW BY TYLER!! [The crowd rises its' voices in unison... surprisingly chanting for the big man.] "LET'S GO CRUSH-ER!" clap clap clapclapclap "LET'S GO CRUSH-ER!" clap clap clapclapclap "LET'S GO CRUSH-ER!" clap clap clapclapclap "LET'S GO CRUSH-ER!" clap clap clapclapclap "LET'S GO CRUSH-ER!" clap clap clapclapclap [Slowly, Tyler crawls across the ring, heading towards the outstretched hand of his tag team partner, Jaiden Andrews.] JD: Jaiden is _itching_ to get into the ring. He hasn't been in the match yet. Look at him, jumping up and down... clapping his hands... trying to root Crusher to the corner...trying to cheer him on to make the tag! [But before he can get to his partner, Tyler finds his leg scissored between the ankles of a barely moving Calisto Dufresne.] JD: Dufresne blocked the tag! He knows the main goal of tag team wrestling is to cut the ring in half and that's exactly what he's trying to do right here. Tyler desperately needs to make the tag but Dufresne's holding him at bay! [Andrews stretches as far as he possibly can... ...but to no avail as Tyson Bryson springs into action, racing into the ring to drop an elbow across the back of Tyler's neck, ending the tag attempt. Big heel pop!] JD: Bryson with a cheap shot... blatant cheating by the champion and his partner... but also a show of good teamwork. The kind of thing only a long time tag team wrestler would think to do. [An irate Steve Stevens reprimands Bryson, forcing him out of the ring as Calisto climbs back up to his feet, hooking a straddle armbar from behind.] JD: Look at this! Dufresne's just taunting Jaiden Andrews... holding his partner just a few feet away from legally making the exchange. [Jaiden stretches as far as he can, still a foot or two short as Calisto Dufresne laughs at his efforts, pushing Tyler's arm closer... then pulling it back.] JD: This is out of control, fans. Calisto Dufresne is playing a dangerous game with both of these men... letting his ego drive all of his actions. Letting his- [A huge pop erupts as Jaiden Andrews leaps into the ring, racing towards the submission hold, determined to break up the lock... ...but referee Steve Stevens interjects himself, keeping Andrews from making the save. Huge heel pop!] JD: The referee is only doing his job... but man oh man, do these fans want to see Jaiden Andrews in that ring in the worst possible way! I don't blame them... I'm right there with them in that feeling. Come on, Jaiden! Make that tag! [An irate Andrews is forced back out to the apron while Tyson Bryson runs back in behind the back of the official.] JD: Illegal doubleteam! Bryson pulls Tyler up, dragging him back to the corner. [Dufresne and Bryson throw Tyler backfirst into the corner, quickly moving in right behind.] JD: Doubleteam in the buckles! Rights and lefts... kicks and knees! They're doing a number on Crusher Tyler and Jaiden Andrews is forced by referee Steve Stevens to stand there and watch it! Gimme a break, ref! [Grabbing Tyler, the two men suplex him up and over to the canvas with a tremendous thud! Big pop from the impressed fans on hand.] JD: Double suplex... and Dufresne slaps an armbar on again just as the referee turns around. Come on, Steve! Call him on it! [Stevens looks at Dufresne, arching an eyebrow... but says nothing as the Pacific Champion orders him to check Tyler for the submission.] JD: Crusher shakes his head no, showing incredible toughness after the amount of abuse his arm has been put through in this matchup. Dufresne tightens up on it, trying to force a submission. [But Tyler has other ideas as he lashes backwards with an elbow to the midsection... and a second loosens the hold... a third finally breaks it.] JD: Tyler breaks free! Make the tag! Make the- [The M-DOJO big man heads for his corner and the outstretched hand of Jaiden Andrews... ...but is quickly waistlocked from behind by the Pacific Champion.] JD: Tyler's so close! He's so close! Stretching out... reaching as far as he can... [With his fingers just inches from his partner's, Crusher Tyler seems to be on the verge of finally making the exchange... ...until Calisto Dufresne quickly hammerlocks the bad arm, hoists Tyler into the air... ...and brings all of the big man's weight crashing down onto his own arm with a belly to back suplex! Big mixed pop!] JD: Damn. Damn him! Lateral press! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [BIG MIXED POP!] JD: Crusher fires the shoulder up! And you notice it was the good arm... that bad arm is almost limp at his side. He can barely even move it, fans. [An irate Dufresne springs to his feet, stomping the injured limb.] JD: Come on, Steve! Get in there and stop that! [The Pacific Champion pulls the arm, stretching it out fully... and stomps hard on the bicep, pinning it there for a moment.] JD: Crusher Tyler's in trouble... and Calisto Dufresne's going up to the second rope. He's got that arm... that injured arm stretched out in his sights. [Dufresne stands on the second rope... ...and leaps, his knee aimed for the injured limb.] JD: KNEEDROP! [HUGE POP!] JD: HE MISSED! HE MISSED THE KNEEDROP! [The crowd roars as Crusher Tyler rolls away, inching towards his corner... stretching out as far he can...] JD: Come on, Crusher! Get Jaiden in there! [Calisto Dufresne, desperate to avoid a fresh Jaiden Andrews rushing the ring, attempts to grab the leg of the M-DOJO big man.] JD: Fight him off! Come on! [Seeing the match in danger, Matt James leaps up on the apron, drawing the referee's attention.] JD: No! [The momentary distraction allows Tyson Bryson to slip into the ring, sprint across the ring, and _drill_ Jaiden Andrews with a right hand that knocks him off the apron.] JD: Dammit! These two are just made for each other! Bryson and Dufresne are cheating their asses off in there... and loving every damn second of it. [Yanking Tyler to his feet, Bryson drags him back towards his corner where Dufresne hobbles to meet him. A quick double whip puts Tyler into the far ropes.] JD: Off the ropes... "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: FLAPJACK! FLAPJACK BY BRYSON AND DUFRESNE! [Slapping his hands together to simulate a tag, Dufresne steps out on the ring apron as Tyson Bryson covers the downed Tyler.] JD: Don't count him, Steve! It's illeg- ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE POP!} JD: And you can hear the change in attitude! The fans have fallen behind Crusher Tyler and Jaiden Andrews solidly now. Bryson and Dufresne have pissed everyone off and now they've got the fans jeering every move they make. [A determined Bryson quickly applies a knucklelock... and then proceeds to kick the hell out of Crusher Tyler's right arm. Every kick sends a shudder of pain through the body of the big man... and a sympathetic groan from the PWR faithful.] JD: Bryson's lost it! He's snapped! He wants to break Crusher Tyler's damn arm at any costs! [Pulling Tyler off the mat, he switches from the knucklelock to a hammerlock before hoisting the big man into the air and slamming him down to the mat, all his weight on top of him.] "OHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Goodness. I don't know how Crusher Tyler is surviving all of this... that arm is just hanging like a piece of meat from his body. This is getting hard to watch. [A quick tag brings Calisto Dufresne back into the ring as Bryson pulls Tyler up and they both whip him into the far buckles, watching him stagger out.] JD: Dufresne charging... flying headscissors! [And he takes the M-DOJO monster down into a cross armbreaker.] JD: This could be it! He's trying to hyperextend the elbow... Crusher's trying to fight it... trying to stay alive. [Jaiden Andrews slaps the turnbuckles in rhythm, trying to rile up the fans to cheer on Crusher Tyler again.] JD: As much as Jaiden Andrews dislikes Crusher Tyler, you've gotta think he may have gained a little respect for him tonight. Crusher Tyler's showing tremendous heart. [Tyler locks his hands together, refusing to have his arm extended despite Dufresne's constant punching of the wrist, trying to break the iron grip.] JD: Tyler's hanging on! He's blocking it with every bit of heart in his body! He refuses to- [The crowd begins to grow louder as Tyler gets his feet underneath him, trying to get back to his feet while still locked in the dreaded armbar.] JD: Crusher's almost there... he's trying to- [Big pop!] JD: He's on his feet! The big man is on his feet! But he's still locked in that armbar. [A situation that Tyler quickly attempts to remedy as he fights for every bit of power left in his body... ...and somehow... ...someway... ...manages to hoist Calisto Dufresne high into the air...] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" [DEAFENING POP!] JD: POWERBOMB!! HE POWERBOMBED OUT OF IT!! MY GOD, WHAT A POWERBOMB!!! [The impact of Dufresne's skull hitting the canvas completely freezes him as Tyler crawls towards his corner yet again... ...and this time? He makes it.] JD: TAG! [ANOTHER DEAFENING POP!] JD: IN COMES JAIDEN!!! [The Anaheim native sprints through the ropes, finally having been unleashed. He peppers a charging Tyson Bryson with a series of right hands, knocking him back into the ropes.] JD: Calisto's pushing himself up... he's dazed but- [Pop!] JD: Dropkick by Jaiden! [Andrews gets back to his feet as Bryson moves towards him again.] JD: Dropkick on Bryson! [Another pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews is the proverbial house of fire... pulling Calisto off the mat... [HUUUUUGE POP!] JD: He hooks him... he sets... [And hurls the Pacific Champion up and over his head, sending him crashing down to the canvas in a heap.] JD: EXPLOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! [Andrews pops back to his feet, dragging his thumb across his throat as Bryson staggers towards him, getting hooked in the same position.] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" [DEAFENING POP!] JD: ANOTHER ONE! JAIDEN ANDREWS HAS TAKEN CONTROL! HE'S TAKING OVER IN THIS MATCH! [Calisto Dufresne rolls to the floor, having taking enough punishment for the moment... ...or so he thought.] JD: JAIDEN!! [A sprinting Andrews takes flight, diving between the top and middle ropes with a front flip... ...wiping out a dazed Calisto Dufresne... ...and sending them both crashing into the steel chairs at ringside!] JD: TOOOOOOOOOOOPE CON HILOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" JD: Jaiden Andrews climbs back to his feet... and he's heading back to the ring. [The buzz grows louder as Andrews scales the ropes, heading for the top where he looks down at a barely moving Tyson Bryson.] JD: HE LEAPS!! [And flips through the air, plummeting down... ...and crashes across the chest of Tyson Bryson with a resounding thud! Massive pop!] JD: 450! 450 SPLASH!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [MASSIVE DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: Kickout! Bryson gets the shoulder up! [Still fired up and unfazed, Andrews sprints to his feet, slapping his knee as he backs across the ring.] JD: He's calling for the Shining Wizard! We've seen him win a match with this before, fans. We've seen- [A deafening heel pop goes up as the Pacific Champion reaches under the bottom rope, hooking the ankle of Jaiden Andrews, and drags him out to the carpeted floor.] JD: Damn him! Jaiden Andrews had Tyson Bryson right where he wants him but Calisto Dufresne just spoiled all of that! The Pacfic Champion is as wily as they come, I think. [Grabbing Andrews by the hair, Dufresne _slams_ him facefirst into the steel ringpost!] JD: Oh! I think Steve Stevens should DQ him right there! [A dazed Andrews stumbles into the laps of a few fans in the front row of the theater-style seats but Dufresne quickly retrieves him, rolling him back into the ring.] JD: Bryson pulls Jaiden up... this just isn't right. [Grabbing the Anaheim native by the hair, Bryson calls out "Dirtnap!".] JD: If he hits this, it might be over. He's going for that split-legged faceslam he calls the Dirtnap. [But Andrews slaps his hands away... and one movement, backflips, bringing his foot up solidly into the underside of Bryson's chin! Huge pop!] JD: SHADES OF PELE!! JAIDEN ANDREWS JUST SCORED A BIG GOAL FOR HIS TEAM!! [Seeing his partner in trouble, Calisto Dufresne climbs up on the apron... just in time to see Jaiden Andrews do a complete spin... ...and bludgeon the Pacific Champion with a rolling elbow that sends Dufresne sailing off the apron and back into the steel chairs at ringside! Huge pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews puts down Bryson! He puts down Dufresne! [And now he's heading for the top rope, quickly climbing as Dufresne uses a fan in a Punisher logo t-shirt to pull himself up to his feet.] JD: Oh my god! Jaiden's gonna fly! [Facing away from Dufresne, Jaiden Andrews hurls his body backwards into the air, twisting in mid-flight... ...and crashing down onto a stunned Pacific Champion! Deafening pop!] "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" JD: PHOENIX PLANNNNNNNNNNNCHA!!! Jaiden Andrews has electrified these fans... he's taken the fight _right_ to Bryson and Dufresne and now- [A pumped-up Jaiden Andrews regains his feet, thrusting his arms into the air, turning around... ...just as Tyson Bryson takes flight, diving through the ropes with a suicide dive that knocks both men into the steel chairs again.] JD: TOOOOOOOOOOPE! AHHHHHHHHHQUEMORTAL! [An injured and weary Crusher Tyler makes his way over to the far side of the ring where the other three warriors are... and immediately lunges into the fray, blasting a recovering Calisto Dufresne with an elbow smash over the forehead.] JD: We've got all four men on the floor! It's breaking loose here in Santa Ana! [Tyler peppers Dufresne with left hands against the ring apron... failing to notice Tyson Bryson get back to his feet behind him, driving a knee into his kidneys... ...and promptly posting him shoulderfirst into the steel! Huge heel pop!] JD: Oh! Shoulder to the ringpost! Tyson Bryson goes right back to work on the same thing they've been going after the whole match. [As Bryson drives right hands into the injured shoulder, a recovering Jaiden Andrews rolls Calisto Dufresne under the ropes back into the ring.] JD: Jaiden's going up top again! This guy loves to fly! [Andrews reaches the peak, looking down on a dazed Dufresne and hurls his body into the air, pumping his arms and legs... ...and crashes down across the chest of the Pacific Champion!] JD: FROG SPLASH! FROG SPLASH! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE SHOCKED POP!] JD: Oh my god! Dufresne kicked out! I thought Jaiden had him right there, fans... I really did. The Pacific Champion is showing a little of the fighting spirit that helped him with that gold though. [Andrews pushes himself to his knees, looking at referee Steve Stevens with disbelief.] JD: I think he's stunned... and I'm not sure I blame him at all. We all thought it was over. [Leaping to his feet, Andrews quickly hits the ropes, rebounding back and hurling himself into the air.] JD: SENNNNNNNTONNN- OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [The crowd groans in unison with Dane as Andrews comes crashing down across the knees of the Pacfic Champion!] JD: A senton splash was on the way... but Calisto Dufresne got the knees up just in time. Jaiden Andrews may have just cost this match for his team right there. [A tired Dufresne pushes himself up, pulling Andrews up as well.] JD: Side waistlock... belly to back! [But in mid-lift, Dufresne switches his grip and brings Andrews crashing down... ...right across his bent knee!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Dear god! Dear god almighty! [Andrews howls out in pain from the blow, rolling over onto his stomach immediately... where Dufresne drives a few boots home before pulling his opponent up.] JD: Front facelock! A suplex? [Dufresne hoists Andrews into the air, but Jaiden has other ideas.] JD: Jaiden slips out... on his feet behind Dufresne... [And as the Pacific Champion turns around.] JD: Hooked! Wait... oh my god! [Andrews shows no mercy as he hoists Calisto Dufresne into the air for another Exploder suplex... ...but this one sends the Pacific Champion crashing backfirst into the turnbuckles! Massive pop!] JD: ABUUUUUNAI!! [Dufresne slumps to the canvas from the impact as Jaiden Andrews slowly pushes himself up, one hand on his lower back... ...and spies Crusher Tyler and Tyson Bryson trading punches on the floor.] JD: Oh no. [Andrews wastes not a single second in hitting the ropes closest to him... sprinting across the ring... ...and hurling himself over the ropes, crashing down on top of Tyler and Bryson with a somersault plancha.] JD: SOMERSAULT PLANNNNNNNNNCHA!!! [HUUUUUGE POP!] JD: The Surf Boy is on fire! He's hitting anything that moves! [Andrews stays on top of Bryson, peppering him with right hands... ...when suddenly there's a pissed off big man in his face.] JD: Uh oh. [Tyler yanks Andrews to his feet, shoving him hard in the chest.] JD: I think... I think Crusher Tyler is upset that he got hit with Andrews' dive as well! Jaiden took out Bryson with it... but he also got Crusher Tyler! [An irate Tyler shoves Andrews again, snarling something unheard at him.] JD: Jaiden's trying to explain what happened... but I don't know if Crusher Tyler is buyin- [A deafening shocked pop goes up as Tyler reaches out and levels Jaiden Andrews with a left hand to the jaw, knocking the high flyer to the carpet.] JD: Tyler levels Jaiden! Not now, you guys! We were all afraid something like this would happen... but they're so close right now... how can it happen right now?! [Tyler rolls back into the ring, pulling a dazed Calisto Dufresne off the canvas... ...and hoists him up into a fireman's carry.] JD: He's going for the DVD! Going for the Death Valley Driver! [And after a moment of standing high... ...Crusher Tyler gets knocked low as Jaiden Andrews _drives_ his foot into Tyler's face.] JD: YAAAAAAAKUUUUUUZAAAAA!! [The impact of the kick knocks Tyler off-balance enough that the Pacific Champion is able to roll him up into a crucifix.] JD: No! Not like this! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! [DING DING DING] JD: Damn! Damn it all! Calisto Dufresne, the Pacific Champion, has pinned Crusher Tyler to win this match... and I'm just... [Dane sighs.] JD: We need someone to step up to the plate here in PWR. The rudos are getting away with murder... they're putting people down all over the place. We're all smothered in darkness and we need someone to lead us back into the light! [Dufresne rolls from the ring, walking back up the aisle holding the Pacific Title high in the air. Bryson is helped back up the aisle by Matt James, leaving the losers in the ring.] JD: Jaiden just couldn't... he couldn't get past the constant disrespect being shown to him by Crusher Tyler. He wanted to... but he just couldn't. [An annoyed Andrews glares at Tyler's downed form... and then rolls from the ring, waving him off in disgust.] JD: Fans, it's been a hell of a night here in PWR... and we've got one more match left. Our main event pits Teacher vs Student as Juvenil Infierno takes on Matthew Yates... and if that wasn't enough, if Infierno wins this match, he will meet City Jack next month with the first shot at the Pacific Championship on the line. The stakes are oh-so-high for both these men... so let's get right to it, let's go down to Melissa. [Melissa Cannon steps into the ring as Crusher Tyler rolls out, making his way back up the aisle.] MC: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. [Nas' (fLauryn Hill) "If I Ruled the World" hits to a mixed pop as Jonathan H. Smith comes quickly out, dressed to the nine in a nice ass suit. Behind him and much slower... some would say methodical... comes Matthew Yates, a white and orange PWR emblazoned towel over his head.] JD: Matthew Yates representin'! So Cal strong style thuganomics in da house! [Oh god... so white. So, so white.] JD: ... [Yates pauses, looking around at the crowd from underneath the towel. Black is the name of the game here. Wrestling shorts... knee and kick pads... boots... hand tape... all black. Over his torso he wears a blue and gold RONIN DOJO shirt. Smith even makes a point of coming back to his charge, pointing that very fact out... to boos!] JD: Oh man, you're not going to make a truckload of fans wearing that shirt around here. They may respect Jeremy Rhodes but this is M-Dojo country! [Yates hops onto the apron as Smith looks on, continuously barking instructions to Yates. A quick wipe of the feet and the young black man hops in, over the ropes, throwing his towel to the side as he does. This time his hair is tied back in tight zig zagging cornrows, Smith smiling at the level of control he indeed has. Yates turns, rolling his eyes out of sight, hopping and warming up as he readies himself. To no one's surprise, Smith rolls in, mic in hand.] JD: Great. Another endeering promo. JHS: Ladies and gentlemen, fans of Pro Wrestling Revolution... it is indeed time for just that, a revolution and it begins here tonight at SHAZAM~! [The crowd even yells it out in jest... SHAZAM!] JHS: Here, tonight in the Santa Ana Elks Lodge, yet another icon of this company will vanish, never to be seen again. He won't return phone calls, he won't answer his door. He'll turn his pager off and become a recluse. He'll become a little hermit unto himself... ....because that is what embarrasement does to a person. ["SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" is the response he gets as he pauses. Yates glares at the fan, shutting him right up.] JHS: Isn't that right, Juvenil Infierno? [HUGE POP!] You're going into hiding just like your running buddy Todd Michaelson did in the days following Who's the King? You're not going to able to show yourself in public and your little dojo is going to fall into shambles. M-Dojo is going to be left with nothing but a group of untrained backyarders who'll leave and break their necks on a trampoline, all because you couldn't hack it. You couldn't hack being in the ring with Matthew Yates, a man who you yourself trained. A man who's life revolved around violence and drugs and the streets... the man you trained. A man who lived in fear, wondering if the next gunshot he heard was meant for him... the man you trained. [Smith pauses, lifting a finger to make his point.] JHS: Funny how under your 'guidance'... and I use that term lightly... he was still a young man with no future ahead of him but the streets. Funny how under the guidance of the Ronin Dojo and Jeremy Rhodes... [COMPETITOR HEEL POP!] ....Matthew Yates has straightened his life out and become a feared man and feared competitor. Funny how he has become the very essence for which PWR stands, yet under your tutelage he learned how to fall and wrestle somewhat, yes, but becoming a better person? Laughable, Infierno. Laughable and disgusting. [He shakes his head... the crowd getting right in on the pause!] *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* *SHUT THE FUCK UP! clap clap clapclapclap* [Yates storms out of the ring, getting right into the face of a big guy in a Laker's Jersey. The guy starts spouting off on him, Yates' stare shutting him right up.] JD: This is starting to get out of control. Smith should just do what the fans say and let this match get underway! JHS: I will let you be when I've made my point... and that point is quite simple. While you lament losing Matthew Yates, thing what went wrong. Ask yourself why he left for greener pastures. Think about everything you taught him... and then think of everything you didn't. Think of what he wasn't under your teaching. Think what he wasn't becoming under your guidance... ....and then and _only_ then you'll have a reason to be depressed... to go into hiding... and to be embarrassed. [With a thunk the mic falls, Smith slipping out of the ring as Yates re-enters, waiting for the entrance of his opponent.] JD: I can't believe he's speaking of the M-Dojo's head trainer like that, but then again I guess I shouldn't really be too surprised after all. ["Fire in the Sky" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to blare over the loudspeakers suddenly and the crowd all rise to their feet, cheering as they know who that music belongs to. Juvenil doesn't even show much fanfare as he steps out in front of the crowd. An irritated look on his face is evident even with his mask on. He's dressed in his wrestling gear and he looks ready to go right now, but as he rolls into the ring under the bottom rope, he then pops up and looks directly into the eyes of Smith, staring at him with ferocity in his eyes. He then moves to get a microphone from a ringside attendant, bringing it up as he speaks.] JI: You know, it never ceases to amaze me at how people will go to such great lengths to blame someone else for their own bad choices. [Pop! Juvy just shakes his head, though, not just trying to be witty here.] Yates ... I want to say this to you right now, before any more words get spoken between the two of us! [Yates looks at the luchadore impatiently, awaiting whatever he has to say with a look of disdain on his face.] Out of all of the students in the Dojo, I really saw a lot of potential in you. You're a good athlete and you dedicated yourself to your training whenever you cared enough to get off your ass and do it. I'll tell you this right now ... I am a _trainer._ I am not your personal motivational speaker when I'm in that Dojo with any of my students. But apparently, Jeremy Rhodes must seem to be a little of both if you've managed to get your act together under his 'tutelage'. [Infierno pauses.] Because you sure as hell were one unruly brat under mine. [Crowd pop! Seems they appreciate any unappreciative words he might have toward Yates, a small "Ju-vy! Ju-vy!" chant from a group of fans starting up. Yates doesn't seem to like those comments very much, yelling out some unkind words to Juvenil Infierno which can't be picked up by the microhphone before Smith shuts him up. However, that still doesn't give you the right to leave us the way you did. To turn your back on us as if we had never done a single thing for you. It's inexcusable, Matt. I don't care _what_ you think your reasons were ... to blatantly disrespect those who put you where you are today says a whole lot about your character, Yates. So, if that's the kind of people the Ronin Dojo are looking for ... the types of people who will turn their backs on them as soon as they feel things aren't going their way ... they can have them! [Pause.] "PWR isn't for slackers and whiners, anyway." [Pop! Yates looks pissed.] As for you, Mr. Smith ... if I'm going into hiding ... then why am I standing here right in front of you? You say Yates has become a feared man and a feared competitor? Well, I'm not afraid of you, Matthew Yates. To me, you're still just a student with a whole lot more to learn." [Infierno drops the mic, backing to the corner as Melissa Cannon retakes her position.] MC: Introducing first... he hails from Los Angeles, California... standing 5'8 and weighing in at 235 pounds... he is accompanied to the ring by his legal adviser, Jonathan H. Smith, and representing Ronin Dojo... MATTHEW YAAAAAAAAAAAAAATES! [Yates leans in the corner, his foot resting on the middle rope, not moving an inch. No reaction at all to the jeers that greet the announcement of his name.] MC: And his opponent... from Guadalajara, Mexico...he stands 5'8 and weighs in at 178 pounds... representing M-DOJO... JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUVENILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNFIERNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! [A massive pop goes up for the M-DOJO trainer as he thrusts an arm into the air in tribute to his many fans.] JD: Juvenil Infierno, perhaps the most popular man in all of Pro Wrestling Revolution, is preparing to take on a man who is quite simply... a traitor to PWR. He may still compete in PWR but he betrayed the Dojo that got him into this business. He stuck the blade in the back of M-DOJO and went to Ronin Dojo. [Yates tugs on the ropes, getting loose as referee Patrick Rodriguez gives him a few words of instruction.] JD: The M-DOJO students all want a piece of Yates... but it's Juvenil Infierno, their teacher, who will get the first shot at him right here tonight. [The official gives both men one last look... then calls for the bell.] JD: Here we go! Teacher versus student... and the stakes are oh-so-high for Juvenil Infierno. He's heard the rumors too. If he wins here tonight, he will face City Jack next month to determine the #1 contender for the Pacific Championship as well as who will face Calisto Dufresne in his first title defense at the upcoming J*STAR Festival. Big, big stakes in this one for the luchador. [Slowly, the two combatants edge out towards the center of the ring, eyes locked on one another.] JD: No one wants to make an early mistake here... both wanting to make sure they fight a smart battle. The fans clapping their hands in rhythm... wanting to see these two lockup for the first time. [Circling...circling... and then they lunge together, entwining their arms in a collar and elbow tieup.] JD: Aw yeah! It's on! [...] JD: Thank god I don't have a color man. [The two warriors grapple across the ring, each pushing and shoving their way around the battlefield... each trying their best to get the upper hand.] JD: Yates with an obvious size advantage... using that power edge to push Juvy back, trying to get him cornered where he can do some damage to the luchador. [But instead of pushing him back, Yates switches his grip, pushing down on the bent arm of the M-DOJO trainer with an overhand wristlock.] JD: Overhand wristlock applied by Yates, maybe an attempt to show Infierno he can outwrestle him too. I think we all believe he can outfight him... we believe he can strike harder than Infierno... but we've yet to see any evidence that Yates can outwrestle him. [Planting his feet, Infierno leaps backwards into the air, flipping to land back on his feet and alleviating the pressure of the wristlock... ...and quickly turning it into an armdrag that whips Yates down to the canvas! Pop!] JD: Nice counter by Inf- Yates back up! Charges! [And right into another armdrag by Infierno! Big pop!] JD: He's throwing Yates around the ring with those deep armdrags! Yates up again... charging... [This time, Infierno goes another route and hurls Yates up and over the top with an overhead armdrag! Big pop!] JD: Whoa my! Beautiful armdrag by Infierno! [Yates freezes in his tracks, backing into the corner to avoid any further armdrags for the moment. A huge ovation for Infierno who glares at Yates, waving him on.] JD: These fans love Juvenil Infierno, that's for sure. Yates is shaking out that arm... making sure there's no injury there and you can see Jonathan H. Smith right there with some advice. I don't know how much that guy knows about wrestling... but Yates seems to be listening to every word he's saying right now. [Nodding his head, Yates pushes up to his feet and slowly moves back in to the center of the ring.] JD: Yates slowly moving in again... Infierno's waiting for him. [The two men tangle again in another collar and elbow tieup.] JD: Back to the lockup... and this time, Yates quickly gobehinds into a rear hammerlock. The kid showing some excellent skill out of the tieups. He cranks up on the arm, trying to soften up Infierno. [His right arm trapped behind him, the luchador begins searching for a war out of the hold.] JD: Juvy goes for a leg... nope, can't get it. Yates with a nice wide base to avoid a leg counter to this hold. Infierno tries to turn into it... no luck there either. [The masked man lashes back with an elbow to the left ear of the former Shadow XL.] JD: Right on target with an elbow... and another... one more! [With the grasp weakened, Infierno reaches back with the free arm to hook Yates around the head and neck and leaps into the air... ...flipping over a stunned Yates.] JD: Infierno lands behind him! Another great counter! [Yates quickly spins to face his former teacher... ...and promptly gets armdragged back down to the canvas! Big pop!] JD: This has got to be getting frustrating for the youngster from the streets of Los Angeles. His former teacher with some great counters and some nice armdrags to keep Yates off-balance. [The Los Angeles native immediately dives into a tieup... ...and quickly finds himself snared in a side headlock.] JD: Side headlock locked on by Infierno! Juvy really wrenching down on that, tweaking the neck of Yates...and takes Yates down to the mat with a headlock takedown! Nicely done. [Yates uses Infierno's momentum to roll him onto his shoulders for a pin attempt. Rodriguez drops down for a count, but Yates is rolled back the other way before the count.] JD: Patrick didn't even get to make a count there. Both men back to their feet now... and Yates drives an elbow to the ribs... and another... [Breaking the hold, the LA native fires off Infierno to the ropes. The luchador rebounds back, leaping into the air and snaring Yates in a satellite headscissors... ...and goes round... ...and round... ...and round... ...and round... ...before finally snapping Yates down to the canvas with a headscissors takedown! Big pop!] JD: Juvenil Infierno continues to frustrate his former student with his mastery of simple moves to keep him out of his element. Yates charges again and- [Another pop goes up as Infierno drop toeholds Yates facefirst down to the mat.] JD: And another basic move! Infierno is _still_ teaching Matthew Yates it looks like. Infierno floats over into a front facelock... but Yates quickly rolls out into a grounded hammerlock. He's got his ex-teacher facefirst on the canvas, arm pulled up behind him... [And Yates promptly drives his knee down into the bent arm... and again... and again... and again... and again.] JD: Yates with a barrage of attacks to the arm... and peels off, screaming for Infierno to get back to his feet. [Still holding the wrist, Yates tugs Infierno back to a vertical base.] JD: Yates is trying to do some damage to the arm... what's he- [Grabbing the top rope with his free hand, Infierno backflips away from the pressure... ...and armdrags Yates off his feet, through the ropes, and out to the carpeted floor below! Huge pop!] JD: Juvenil Infierno's shaking his arm now, trying to make sure he's okay... but what a performance he's put on so far. Matthew Yates may be realizing he's still got a lot left to learn. Infierno leans over the ropes, waving for Yates to get back into the ring. [Yates backs a few feet away, glaring at Infierno as Jonathan H. Smith rushes to his side, giving him some advice.] JD: Infierno's demanding Yates get back in there! He wants this kid in the ring in the worst possible way and- [Swinging around the corner, the former street thug rolls back into the ring, popping up to his feet.] JD: The luchador wastes no time in moving in... back to a tie- ohh! Yates rakes the eyes! [Blinded, Infierno staggers backwards... and gets drilled with a forearm shot that puts him back into the turnbuckles.] JD: Juvy gets backed into the corner... "WHAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Ooof! Forearm shot right to the side of the jaw! Matthew Yates has a reputations as the hardest hitting man in Pro Wrestling Revolution and Juvenil Infierno is finding that out firsthand tonight. "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Goodness! Three more hard forearm shots... grabs the wrist... whip! [Infierno sails across the ring from the whip, Yates charging in just a few feet behind him.] JD: In comes Yates! [Grabbing the top rope, Infierno kips up into the air as Yates charges under him. Twisting in mid-air, the M-DOJO trainer takes his former pupil down to the canvas with a sunset flip.] JD: WHAT A MOVE!! [But Yates rolls through the sunset flip, avoiding the pin attempt, and hooking the legs.] JD: Great counter by Yates, going for a Boston Crab now! [The Los Angeles native attempts to turn Infierno over into the submission move but the luchador flails violently, avoiding it.] JD: Yates can't get him over! Infierno's trying to block it! [Still holding the legs, Yates lashes out...] "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHH!" [A hard kick to the spine sends a groan through the crowd.] JD: Goodness! [Yates goes to turn him over... but again, Infierno fights it.] "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAP!" [The roar of the crowd grows louder with each and every kick, Infierno howling in pain from the blows.] JD: And finally... _finally_ Yates is able to turn him over onto his stomach! The Boston Crab is applied! [Yates sits back on the hold, cranking up the pressure on his former teacher's spine.] JD: Yates has the hold applied, wrenching back with it... trying to force a submission out of his former trainer. Infierno's trying to fight it... crawling across the ring... trying to get to the ropes. [The crowd quickly rallies behind their hero.] "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap [Infierno continues to claw... scratch... reach...] JD: Referee Patrick Rodriguez is right down there, checking to see if Infierno gives it up. Juvy's desperately trying to get to the ropes... trying to get- look at Jonathan H. Smith, right there cheering his charge on. [The masked man stretches further, the ropes just inches out of his grasp.] JD: Almost there... almoooooost there. [One last stretch...] JD: Come on, Juvy! [POP!] JD: He made it! He got to the ropes! Break it, Yates! Break it! [Referee Rodriguez is immediately on the scene, making a five count.] JD: Come on, Patrick! Get him to break the damn hold! [The Los Angeles native breaks the hold, glaring at Rodriguez who instinctively takes a step back.] "WHAAAAAAP!" JD: Oof! Kick to the ribs sends Juvy rolling out onto the ring apron, the luchador trying to get away from Matthew Yates' assault on him. Infierno needs a little bit of a breather, I think. [Reaching over the ropes, Yates pulls Infierno to his feet by the mask, pulling back on it so the back of his neck is pressed against the top rope.] JD: What's he got in mind here? [Yates sits out, snapping the back of Infierno's neck into the ropes, sending him sprawling on the carpet.] JD: Ohhh my! He snapped his neck down on the ropes... going after the neck of the M-DOJO trainer. Infierno's down on the carpet. Yates is coming out after- no, Smith's trying to stop him. [Jonathan H. Smith steps up on the ring apron, raising his hands to ward off his charge, keep him inside the ring.] JD: Yates wants to go after Infierno... but Smith won't let- [The crowd buzzes a bit as Yates shoves Smith aside, dropping down to the carpeted floor where a dazed Infierno is attempting to get back to his feet.] JD: Whoa! I don't think Jonathan H. Smith enjoyed that at all. He looks stunned. Yates is a little out of control right now... he wants to win this match so badly. [Pulling Infierno up by the mask, Yates violently hurls him backwards, slamming the base of his neck into the edge of the ring apron! Big heel pop!] JD: Goodness! [Stunned by the impact, Infierno slumps to the carpet again, a hand covering his neck.] JD: Yates is doing a number on Infierno... going after that neck now... and he drags him up off the floor again, rolling him under the ropes and into the ring. [Jonathan H. Smith takes a step back from his charge, not saying a word as Yates climbs up on the apron, grabbing the top rope... ...and slingshots over the top rope, bringing his leg crashing down across the back of Infierno's neck.] JD: Yates flips him over... a cover. One! Two! [Pop!] JD: Infierno kicks out. That neck is hurting him though... you can see that. He's holding his neck, trying to cover it up from more punishment perhaps. Yates is obviously going after it... and Infierno needs to get back to his feet, find some way to get back on the attack and avoid further damage to the neck. [Pulling the luchador up by the mask, Yates hooks him in a three-quarter nelson.] JD: Cravate applied by Matthew Yates! Look at the torque he's putting on that neck... look at the pressure he's got on it. He's trying to tweak that neck seriously out of place. [Yates puts more pressure on the neck, twisting the head of his trainer.] JD: Infierno's trapped in the cravate... trying to- elbow! Infierno drives an elbow into the gut... again... again! To the ropes... [The M-DOJO trainer hits the ropes, rebounding back, and leaping over the dropped-down Yates.] JD: Infierno off the far side... Yates drops down again... [And as he does, Infierno leaps into the air, bringing his entire body down across the small of Matthew Yates' back! Big pop!] JD: SENTON! Infierno hits a senton! [Infierno reaches back to cradle his neck with one hand as he straddles the waist of his former student... ...and starts swinging away.] JD: Right hands to the kidneys! To the ribs! Infierno's trying to do some damage to the back and ribs of Yates. Matthew Yates is getting pummeled in the back and midsection. Infierno with shot after shot to the body. [A fired-up Infierno pulls Yates off the mat, shoving him spinefirst to the corner.] JD: Juvy moving in... "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAP!" [A series of snap kicks to the ribcage by Infierno causes Yates to double over, clutching his midsection.] JD: Infierno's trying to do a number on the body of Yates... maybe softening him up for Fire In The Sky. [With Yates hanging onto the ropes, trying to stay on his feet, Infierno leaps into the air, spinning back with a boot to the exposed ribcage.] JD: Spinning back kick to the gut! Yates' ribcage was completely exposed and Infierno connected with that kick on target. Yates is stunned, staggering out of the buckles... [Right into a fireman's carry lift by the luchador.] JD: Juvy's got him up! He's got him up for- [Infierno brings Yates over his head and _slams_ him ribsfirst down into the outstretched knee! Big pop!] JD: OVERHEAD GUTBUSTER! Infierno flips him over! ONE!! TWO!! [Mixed pop!] JD: Yates gets the shoulder up! Matthew Yates is taking some punishment but he's not done yet. Infierno is dazed... he's hurting too. Matthew Yates is hurting too though. Both of these men have been put through the wringer here tonight. [Pulling Yates up by his cornrows, Infierno scores with a European uppercut that sends him back into the ropes.] JD: Yates on the ropes... Infierno's on the attack! [Grabbing the middle rope, Infierno drives his shoulder into the ribcage of his former student.] JD: Shoulder to the ribs! Again! Another! A fourth! He's trying to snap Matthew Yates in half! Yates is almost out of the damn ring from the impact of those shoulderblocks! [With the Ronin Dojo student dazed, Infierno buries a knee into his midsection before hooking him...] JD: Infierno's got him hooked... he lifts! [And brings the rookie crashing down with a gutwrench suplex!] JD: Nicely executed by the M-DOJO trainer! [An injured and tired Infierno pushes himself back to all fours... then drives his knee into the battered ribcage of Yates.] JD: Knee to the ribs... and another! It's become very clear what both of these men are targeting. Infierno is trying to soften up the body of Yates, presumably for the Fire In The Sky. Yates is trying to break down the neck of Juvy, maybe for the Gangbuster or the Crime Spree. Both men are very focused on their respective targets. [Infierno fires off a series of hard knees to the ribs before grabbing both legs, cradling them tightly.] JD: Cradle! One!! Two!! [Mixed pop!] JD: Yates slips the shoulder up! Despite the tight cradle, he was still able to kick out of the cover. Infierno couldn't wrap him up tight enough for the pin. But he's not done. The masked man getting back to his feet, pulling Yates up by the hair... "THUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: OH! Lightning quick snap suplex by Infierno! Right down on the back... which'll do even more damage to the body of Yates. Another cover! One!! Two!! [Pop!] JD: Still not enough. Juvy's gonna need something high impact to put this kid down for a three count, I think. Yates wants to hurt him and hurt him bad. He doesn't want to lose to Infierno... he doesn't want to be put down by his former teacher. Yates wants to win this match so badly, Infierno may have to knock him out to win it. [Pulling Yates up, Infierno yanks him back into a fireman's carry... ...and again brings him up and over, crashing down across the knee with a gutbuster!] JD: Another one! Another one! [Yates lands on the mat in a heap, cradling his ribs, wincing with agony with every breath.] JD: Infierno's not going for a cover... look at the pain on the face of Matthew Yates. Yates is in serious agony... but Infierno's got bigger plans. He's heading for the corner... up to the second rope... [And backflips off the ropes, crashing down across the upper body of his opponent! Big pop!] JD: SECOND ROPE MOONSAULT! Right on target! ONE!!! TWO!!! [POP!] JD: No! Not enough! Yates got the shoulder up! Can you imagine how much pain it must put him through to try and kick out? Those ribs and back are just being relentessly punished. [Infierno gets back to his feet, fire in his eyes as he pulls Yates off the mat, throwing him back into the corner.] JD: Juvy moving in... "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" [A hard chop blasting across the ribcage of Yates does even more damage, bringing a grimace to his face.] "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAP!" "WHOOOOOOO!" [Each chop brings more pain to the face of the rookie as his former teacher takes it out on him.] JD: Infierno is punishing this kid. This is the first time I've ever seen Infierno like this in the ring. We'd heard rumors that he'd gone over the edge... that he'd been working a very brutal style with his students in the Dojo. Now he's bringing that brutality to Matthew Yates. [Another hard chop connects, leaving Yates leaning over the ropes, cradling his ribs.] JD: Matthew Yates may be recognized as the hardest hitter in Pro Wrestling Revolution... but with the brutality on display by Infierno here tonight, he may be a close second. [Changing his attack, Infierno drives a knee into the ribs of the injured Yates. Once...twice...three...four...five. And then leans over, hoisting Yates up to the top rope.] JD: Infierno sets Yates up top! He's going for the homerun now! [With Yates sitting up top, Infierno steps to the middle rope, hooking a suplex.] JD: He's going for a superplex! Infierno's going for a superplex! If he hits this, it may be over. [Yates fires a right hand into the exposed ribcage of Infierno, trying to block the lift. A second shot causes Infierno to break his suplex grip... firing off a right hand of his own.] JD: Infierno's fighting back! We've got a slugfest up top! [But Yates connects with a headbutt to the face, causing Infierno to fall from the ropes, down to the canvas.] JD: Yates on the middle rope... leaps! [A double axehandle comes sailing down, aimed square at the masked forehead of the luchador... ...who counters with a hard dropkick to the ribcage, knocking the Los Angeles native out of the air! Huge pop!] JD: What a counter! GEIGECKI DROOOOPKICK!!! [Yeah, we don't know what he said either. Actually, we do... thanks to the PURORESU DICTIONARY!!!] JD: Both men are down... both men are hurt... and referee Patrick Rodriguez is right there to check on both men. Trying to make sure they're both able to continue. He may need to lay a double count on them both. [But the two men are able to roll back to a kneeling position, then pushing up to their feet...] JD: Both men back up and- "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Big chop by Yates! He's returning the favor for those chops Juvy laid in earlier in the match. A receipt, if you will. "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [Infierno returns the favor, firing off across the sternum of his former student.] JD: Juvy's fighting back! They're trading chops! "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Goodness! They're beating the hell out of each other! [Yates, reeling from the series of chops, lashes out with a boot into the midsection of the luchador. He quickly hooks his former teacher by the mask, snapmaring him over to the mat.] JD: Infierno snapmared over... and we all know what's com- "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Jesus! A brutal kick to the spine! Infierno in a seated position and Yates kicked the hell out of him right there. Juvy's hurting for sure after that one and- "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Another one! Good lord! [Yates pauses for a second, looking around the jaw-dropped crowd.] "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Sweet Jumping Jesus! Matthew Yates just unleashed hell on the spine of Juvenil Infierno! [The masked man reels from the beating, trying to get to his feet... but Yates stops him short, grabbing him by the mask.] JD: OH! He drove a knee into the face! He hooks a cravate and- [And drives a series of knees... one by one... over and over into the masked visage of the M-DOJO trainer.] JD: Infierno's being beaten like a redheaded stepchild by Matthew Yates! The luchador is downed... barely able to move after those kicks and knees and- [Yates leaps into the air, driving both feet down into the midsection of Infierno with a double stomp!] JD: Goodness! That'll knock the air out of you. [A hard kick to the ribs sends Infierno rolling to the apron, trying to get a second wind after the onslaught.] JD: Yates is dominating his teacher right now, got him out on the apron sucking wind into his body. The LA native steps out on the ring apron... pulling Infierno up. This can't be good. Jonathan H. Smith is screaming for Yates to get back in the ring... but the former M-DOJO student is- oh my god! Stop him! [The crowd roars as Yates hooks his ex-teacher in position for an Exploder.] JD: Exploder?! He's going for an Exploder off the apron! [A desperate Infierno lashes out with an elbow, his only chance to save himself from getting dumped on the floor with a suplex.] JD: Elbow! A second one breaks the hold! [With daylight between them, Infierno deadleaps into the air, snaring Yates' head between his legs... ...and snapping him down to the carpeted floor with a thud! Huge pop!] JD: RANA! RANA COUNTER OFF THE APRON! Both men are down on the floor! "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap [Both men down on the floor fall victim to a double count by the referee while the crowd continues to chant.] "ONE!" "TWO!" "THREE!" "FOUR!" "FIVE!" "SIX!" "SEVEN!" "EIGHT!" [The two warriors push themselves to their feet, both rolling back into the ring to break the count. The crowd stays on their feet, applauding the efforts of the two competitors.] JD: Infierno back to his feet, leaning in the ropes... Yates on his feet too, holding onto the corner. These two men have been through a hell of a battle and somehow they're still standing... still fighting. [Staggering towards one another, both men rear back... ...and drill each other with forearm shots at the same time!] JD: Goodness! What a shot by both men! [The two men move towards one another again, having stepped back from the impact.] JD: FIRE! [Another pair of forearm shots bounce off the skulls of the two warriors, again knocking them back from the impact.] JD: What the-?! [A cry of... inspiration perhaps... goes up from the masked luchador as he fires off forearm after forearm, battering his former student back into the turnbuckles.] JD: Juvy to the second rope! Oh my! "UNO!" "DOS!" "TRES!" "CUATRO!" "CINCO!" "SEIS!" "SIETE!" "OCHO!" "NUEVE!" "DIEZ!" [The barrage of right hands leaves Yates stunned as Infierno switches his footing and hurls his ex-pupil to the center of the ring with a monkey flip out of the corner! Big pop!] JD: Yates is dazed... Infierno's taking the fight to him! He charges out of the corner! "WHAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [And connects with a high-impact running dropkick that sends Yates sailing over the top rope, crashing down to the carpeted floor below! Huge pop!] JD: OHHHHHMY! Yates went over the top to the floor! All the way over the top! [Dropping down, Infierno rolls under the ropes to join his opponent on the carpet of the Santa Ana Elks Lodge.] JD: Juvy out to the floor, pulling Yates up by the hai- oh! Yates caught him with a jab to the throat... straightened those fingers out and drove them into his windpipe... [Grabbing Infierno by the mask, Yates _hurls_ him into the rows of steel chairs near the hard camera! Big shocked pop!] JD: Come on, Yates! What's the call for something like that?! This match has been clean and hard-fought until that right there. Yates just threw the M-DOJO trainer into all those chairs, fans scattering all over the place like bowling pins. [Yates moves to go after Infierno, but Jonathan H. Smith is quickly on the scene, screaming for his client to get back in the ring, physically impeding his progress towards the injured luchador.] JD: Yates has already shoved Smith aside once... we may see it again right now. But no, it looks like Yates is rolling back in... reluctantly following the demands of his attorney. [Back in the ring, the former street thug leans against the far ropes, making his intent very clear.] JD: He's going for the tope con hilo! He's gonna try and- no! Smith's right up on the apron, blocking his path. Jonathan H. Smith has tried to prevent this move before but Yates has always found a way to get around him. [Referee Patrick Rodriguez races to the ropes, ordering Smith to get off the apron. Smith takes up the argument with the official who forces him back down the apron... ...leaving an unobstructed view of Juvenil Infierno's recovering form.] JD: HERE HE COMES!!! [The Los Angeles native sprints across the ring, ready to hurl his body through the ropes... ...but Jonathan H. Smith is too quick for him on this occasion, returning to blocking his path, screaming him down. Huge heel pop!] JD: These fans just do not like Jonathan H. Smith... and they like Matthew Yates even less for following his orders. "YOU SOLD OUT!" "YOU SOLD OUT!" "YOU SOLD OUT!" JD: You can hear exactly what the fans think of Matthew Yates, really giving it to him tonight in Santa Ana. [A dazed Infierno works his way back to the ring apron, pulling himself onto it using the ropes for leverage. As he gets to his feet on the apron, Matthew Yates moves to greet him... ...connecting with a hard high kick to the left temple, a blow that would have floored Infierno again if he hadn't grabbed the top rope, holding himself staggered on the ring apron.] JD: Goodness! What a shot that was! And now Yates is gonna bring him in the hard way. Hooks him for a suplex... lifts him up... [But a desperate Infierno manages to wriggle free, landing behind Yates. It's not a clean landing as he falls to a knee instead of hitting both feet... but he quickly gets up, hooking a rear waistlock as he slams Yates chestfirst into the ropes, rolling back with him... ...right into a bridging reverse cradle!] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [BIG MIXED POP!] JD: No! Yates fires the shoulder up! I thought Juvy might have had him there... I really did. But it's not tight enough of a cradle to keep him down for a three count. [Both men quickly regain their feet, but Yates is a step quicker, scoring with another high kick.] JD: Another high kick... this one knocking Juvy back into the corner. Yates hooks him... irish whip... [Infierno races across the ring from the whip... but sprints up the turnbuckles as Yates charges in behind him...] JD: BACKFLIP! [A huge pop rings out as Infierno flips through the air, landing on his feet behind the former M-DOJO student. Infierno sprints back towards the corner as Yates turns around.] JD: Juvy moving in! [He plants a boot in the gut of Yates, stepping up to drive a foot into the underside of Yates' jaw as he backflips again... ...and again lands on his feet! Huge pop!] JD: TIGER WALL KICK BY INFIERNO! Yates staggers out! [And Infierno leaps into the air, lashing out with his foot...] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: ENZUGIRI! ENZUGIRI! ENZUGIRI! [The crowd _explodes_ from the head kick as Yates slumps to the canvas in a heap, a dazed Infierno lying just a few feet away flat on his back.] JD: Both men are down! Both men are out! And neither man can take advantage of this situation for the moment. [Official Patrick Rodriguez immediately checks on both competitors, trying to find out if either will be able to continue... if either can mount a defense after the beating they've put one another through.] JD: Dazed and barely able to move... both men are trying to get onto their stomachs, trying to avoid any possible pin attempt. Patrick Rodriguez sees signs of life though, waving off any ten count. [And as the two men attempt to battle each other to their feet, the chants start up again...] "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap "JU-VY!" clapclapclap JD: These fans are rallying behind the luchador... the most popular competitor in Pro Wrestling Revolution. Infierno's by the ropes, trying to use them to pull himself to his feet. Just a few feet away is Matthew Yates, struggling to do the same. [Somehow the two warriors reach their feet at virtually the same time and turn towards the battle once again.] JD: Forearm by Infierno! [Yates falls back, grabbing the ropes to keep from hitting the mat... and lunges forward with a forearm shot of his own, knocking the masked man back into the corner.] JD: They're trading forearms... and they may not have as much juice on them as they did earlier in the match, but they're still doing some major damage with them. Yates moving in... another whip... [Infierno is sent sailing towards the opposite corner, but again leaps to the air, landing on the middle rope and springing back towards his charging opponent... ...and snaring him in a rana.] JD: RAN- [But before Infierno can snap Yates over to the mat, the muscular LA native blocks it... pulling Infierno back up onto his shoulders... ...and _driving_ him down to the canvas with a powerbomb!] JD: COVER!! ONE!!! TWO!!! TH- [BIG POP!] JD: No, no, no, no! Infierno gets the shoulder up! Jonathan H. Smith is irate, screaming at Patrick Rodriguez about the count... but it was only a two. Matthew Yates needs to do something else. [An angry Yates pulls himself back to his feet, questioning Rodriguez about the count as a dazed Infierno drags himself to the corner, resting against the turnbuckles.] JD: Uh oh. [Every fan in the Santa Ana Elks Lodge can see what's coming as Yates approaches the downed and injured Infierno, places his boot firmly on the mask of his former teacher... ...and rakes the sole of his boot across it! Big heel pop!] JD: FACEWASH! [Yates pulls his boot back, places it on the mask again... ...and pushes downwards once more, raking the face of Infierno.] JD: Another one... and another... and another! Come on, referee! Get this guy off Juvy! [Racing to the far ropes, Yates rebounds back... ...and drives the boot down across the mask one final time, hanging on the ropes with the top rope under his armpits as he finishes it, Infierno barely able to stay in the ring from the impact. And oddly... a small section of the crowd roars their approval.] JD: Whoa. A few fans showing their respect for Yates' ability inside the ring... and Juvenil Infierno is barely inside the ring at this point. Incredible impact on that running facewash and- [Huge shocked pop!] JD: Oh my! Infierno's mask has been ripped! The mask of the M-DOJO trainer has been ripped open from that facewash! Goodness! [The crowd buzzes with shock as the luchador's most prized posession has been disgraced and dishonored by the former street thug.] JD: I don't think Yates has noticed it yet. You can see Infierno trying to cover his face... trying to make sure no one can see his identity under that hood. [Infierno rolls from the corner, arms over his partially masked face.] JD: Yates moving back in... uh oh! I think he spotted it! [And like a shark smelling blood, Yates pounces on Infierno, ripping and tearing at the hole in the mask, trying to make it worse.] JD: Come on, dammit! Stop this! In Mexico, you can disqualify a man for trying to unmask his opponent... and dammit, I think Patrick would be competely in the right to do so now! [A frantic Infierno flails away, slapping Yates' arms away from his face and rolling out to the carpeted floor, tugging at his mask to make sure his identity is concealed.] JD: Juvy's out on the floor... Yates is taunting him, screaming for him to get back in the ring. Jonathan H. Smith is doing the same, happy that his client hasn't followed Juvy out to the floor. [Infierno, confident in his mask being in place, rolls back into the ring... ...and takes another big double stomp to the ribs by Yates! Big heel pop!] JD: These fans are all over Matthew Yates for the disrespect and dishonor he's showing towards his former teacher. This is totally uncalled for, fans... completely unnecessary. [Yates pulls Infierno to his feet by the hole in the mask, showing a further lack of respect for his ex-teacher.] JD: This is ridiculous. Completely sickening to see a man of Juvenil Infierno's legacy treated like this. [Lifting his empty palm to the sky, Yates spits on it, signalling the vicious palm strike known as the XLerator.] JD: He's calling for the XLerator! This is how he beat Johnny Malibu last month! Irish whip... [As Infierno rebounds, Yates cocks the arm back... and lets it fly.] JD: XLERAT- JUVY DUCKS IT! [And as Yates turns around, Infierno leaps into the air... ...and _spikes_ his former pupil skullfirst into the canvas! Huge pop!] JD: INFIERNORANA! SKULLFIRST TO THE MAT! [A dazed Infierno dives atop a barely moving Yates.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [HUGE MIXED POP!] JD: YATES KICKS OUT! YATES KICKS OUT! Goodness! I thought Infierno had him there! [With his former student laid out, still barely moving, Infierno gets back to his feet and scales the ropes. As he reaches the top, he spreads his arms wide and takes flight... ...backflipping through the air and down across the chest of his opponent! Huge pop!] JD: BREATHTAKING MOONSAULT!! MY GOD, WHAT A MOONSAULT!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [MASSIVE SHOCKED POP!] JD: ANOTHER KICKOUT! Yates kicks out _again_! [A stunned Infierno thrusts three fingers at Rodriguez who shakes his head vehemately, showing two.] JD: Infierno's questioning the count?! When's the last time you've seen that happen? That's how much he can't believe that Yates kicked out of the moonsault. His former student is showing him a lot here tonight in Santa Ana! [Reaching down, the luchador pulls his ex-pupil up by the cornrows... ...and catches a brutal chop across the chest for his efforts, knocking Infierno back into the corner.] JD: Yates back on the attack! He caught Juvy with a hard chop and may have turned the tide for the moment at least. Up to the middle rope... [Tugging down his kneepad, he grabs the masked skull of Infierno and goes to work.] JD: KNEE! KNEE! KNEE! KNEE! [A brutal series of knees connects with the head of the luchador... ...but somehow he finds the presence of mind to go to the next step, hooking his arms around the thighs of Yates... ...and _planting_ him with a powerbomb, collapsing on top of his opponent for the cover!] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [Another huge ripple of shock rolls over the PWR faithful as Matthew Yates somehow fires his shoulder off the canvas, breaking the pin count.] JD: Unbelievable! Unbelievable! [An exhausted Infierno rolls off of Yates, staring lifelessly into the crowd, still wildly cheering him on.] JD: Infierno can't believe it. Jonathan H. Smith is soaked with sweat out there... cheering on his charge, trying to get him back to his feet. Infierno gets up... and he's heading back to the corner! [The luchador tiredly steps to the middle rope, pausing before stepping to the top... ...but that lone pause is all Matthew Yates needs to get to his feet, lunging into the ropes.] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Juvy gets crotched! He got knocked off-balance and lands groinfirst on the top rope. [A dazed Yates takes advantage, pulling Infierno back by the mask into the tree of woe.] JD: Uh oh. Infierno's tied to the tree of woe... and Yates is heading to the opposite corner. This can't be good for the luchador... this can't be good for him at all. [Leaning in the buckles for a moment, Yates takes several deep breaths... ...and sprints across the ring before dropping down into a baseball slide dropkick.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: SWEET JUMPING JESUS! He just caved in Infierno's skull! [The masked man slips from the upside-down position, slumping down to the canvas motionlessly.] JD: Yates is- he covers! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE POP!] JD: FOOT ON THE ROPES! FOOT ON THE ROPES! Infierno somehow had the presence of mind to get his foot on the ropes to save himself right there. Matthew Yates almost had this thing won right there. [Yates slaps the mat in frustration, pulling Infierno violently to his feet and yanking him into a standing headscissors.] "CCT!" [The crowd begins to buzz at the three letters that mean "Cranium Crushing Technique"... the three locomotion piledrivers used by Jeremy Rhodes, Yates' new teacher.] JD: Oh no. [But before Yates can hoist Infierno up for the first piledriver, the luchador drops down to a knee, blocking the lift.] JD: Infierno's fighting it! He knows this would end it all! [Yates breaks his grip, driving his forearm down into the back and neck of Infierno.] "WHAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAP!" [The three brutal forearm shots nearly knock Infierno to the canvas but Yates pulls him back into a standing headscissors.] JD: He's still going for it! Juvy needs to fight out! He lift- no! Juvy drops down again. [This time, Yates grabs the mask of Infierno... ...and snaps his shin up into the face of his former teacher.] "WHAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHH!" "WHAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [The brutal assault of short kicks leaves Infierno limp, barely able to stand as Yates pulls him into a suplex position.] JD: Suplex? He lifts! [And waits... ...and waits... ...and waits... ...before suddenly dropping down, _spiking_ Infierno's skull into the canvas!] JD: BRAINBUSSSSSSSTAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [DEAFENING POP!] JD: INFIERNO STAYS ALIVE!! HE GETS THE SHOULDER UP IN TIME!! [An irate Yates immediately gets up, forcing Rodriguez back into the corner, three fingers shoved into his face.] JD: Yates is _insisting_ it was a three count! He's telling referee Patrick Rodriguez exactly that right now. But as he does, he turns his focus away from his opponent. Jonathan H. Smith is screaming at Yates, telling him the same thing right now... telling him to keep his focus on Infierno. [An angry Yates turns back to Infierno, pulling him off the canvas... and hurling him towards the corner... ...where Juvy again leaps to the second rope, hurling his body backwards into a front facelock... ...twisting and turning... ...and _spiking_ Matthew Yates skullfirst into the canvas! Massive pop!] JD: SWINGING DDT! SWINGING DDT OUT OF NOWHERE BY INFIERNO! [A dazed Infierno throws himself across Yates.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [MASSIVE MIXED POP!] JD: He can't do it! He can't keep the rookie down! He can't- [A huge heel pop rings out as the curtain parts and Takuya Nobu strolls into view.] JD: What the-?! What the hell is _he_ doing out here?! Hasn't he done enough damage for one night?! El Caliente is- [Infierno climbs back to his feet, flipping Yates onto his stomach, and heads towards the corner, climbing the ropes.] JD: He's going up top! He's going for the top rope and... you've gotta believe he's going for Fire In The Sky! He knows that's the only way to finish Yates off... it appears to be the _only_ way he can finish this kid off. [The dazed luchador steps up to the middle rope... then to the top... ...where he spots Takuya Nobu for the first time.] JD: No, Juvy! Keep your focus! Keep your eyes on Yates! [Infierno points an accusatory finger at Nobu, eyes locked on him.] JD: Infierno's glaring at Nobu... he needs to stay in the here and now. If he doesn't- [A dazed Matthew Yates climbs to his knees... eyeing the distracted Infierno... and lunges towards him...] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: XLERATOR! XLERATOR! [The brutal palm strike causes the hunched over Infierno to crotch himself on the top rope again, leaning over... barely able to stay on the ropes.] JD: Damn it all! Infierno allowed himself to be distracted by Nobu and- oh my god! [Reaching up, Yates pulls Infierno from the top rope into a vertical suplex... ...and then drops down in a sitout piledriver, _spiking_ Infierno's skull into the canvas! HUUUUUUUUUGE MIXED POP!] JD: GANGBUSTER!! GANGBUSTER!! [An exhausted Yates reaches across his opponent's body, desperately hanging on to both of his legs.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! [DING DING DING] JD: Dammit, no! [As soon as the bell rings, Takuya Nobu slides into the ring and immediately begins stomping away at the prone Juvenil Infierno.] JD: Somebody stop this! [Matthew Yates slowly gets to his feet, aided by Jonathan H. Smith... ...and locks his eyes on Nobu.] JD: We heard Yates' comments towards Nobu earlier in the week! This may be about to explode, fans! This is gonna get- [Yates grabs Nobu by the arm, stopping his assault to a huge pop!] JD: Yeah! Thank you, Matthew Yates! Thank you for- "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: What the-?! [The crowd reacts with disgust at a brutal headkick by Matthew Yates that catches Juvenil Infierno right in the side of the head, a grin crossing Yates' face at the reaction.] JD: Yates is stepping aside... and Nobu's stomping the hell out of Infierno again! This is horrible! Give me a break, dammit... someone's gotta stop this! The Revolution needs a hero! We're holding out for a hero! [And as Nobu stomps the torn mask of Infierno relentlessly, Matthew Yates grinning sickly as he watches the assault... ...we fade to black.]
