Spirit of the Revolution Tournament Finals Pure X vs Jaiden Andrews **** [We open to the backstage area where one sees Pure X walking the halls of the Santa Ana Elk Lodge towards the table where an old man is selling drinks.] PX: Hey, you... [Pure X points to the staffer manning the stand.] PX: Give me a water, now. [The concession staffer shakes his head and doesn't reply.] PX: Hey, I said give me a damn water! Jackass... [The staffer rolls his eyes and turns his attention away.] PX: What the - [Pure X looks around to get some help, but sees the other PWR hands do the same to the brash young wrestler.] PX: Fine! Fine, is this how you all want it, assholes? Fine. Like I give a damn about you pieces of crap anyway. [Pure X kicks a hole in the stand as he walks past, chuckling to himself. As he passes by each PWR staff member, he gets the same shunning treatment. With each step, Pure X smiles and shakes his head at the situation. Finally, he turns as he walks backwards to address the crew.] PX: You know, do what you got to do, assholes. Doesn't do anything to me. Heh... [As Pure X turns, he sees that he's not alone as the figure of Matthew Judas has arrived and in a not-to-pleasant mood. Pure X, still smiling, immediately starts up without backing off.] PX: Ohoh, now I'm in trouble. The preacher's son's arrived, everybody! He's going to set me straight! Heh... So what the hell do you want, huh? [Judas offers no words other than a scowl as he stares through his enemy. Pure X looks on with a smile, but somewhat cautious.] PX: So? This it? ["The Prophet" steps up a bit, looking ready to fight as he continues boring a hole through Pure X. The brash technician doesn't back down... only for a couple of seconds. Pure X regains his smile as he backpeddles away from the confrontation.] PX: Alright... Uh, alright, Godboy, see you... See you in the ring... [Pure X turns and starts to walk away at a good pace, looking back at Judas who remains with his cold stare as the shot cuts to the interior of the Santa Ana Elks Lodge. We see a rectangle shaped room with wood paneling on the walls. Cushy theater style seating is elevated stadium style on three sides of the ring, several feet away from the ring. As usual, there's no barricade surrounding the ring... but there are a couple rows of steel chairs filling the gap between the ring and the cushy seats. 2Pac's "Rebel Of The Underground" begins to play over the PA as Jason Dane and Melissa Cannon make their way through the curtain to a decent sized ovation from the People of the Revolution. Dane's in a pair of black slacks coupled with an orange "M-DOJO: Tomorrow's Legends Today" t-shirt. Melissa is carrying the house mic and is in a pair of blue jeans with a green PWR t-shirt tied off at the waist. Both step through the ropes into the ring, Melissa handing the mic to Jason as he greets the crowd.] JD: We...are... back! [Pop!] JD: The first Pro Wrestling Revolution show outside of the Dojo since International Incident a couple months ago and we couldn't be happier to be right back here in Santa Ana for the big event. And by the time this night is over, we'll know two things for sure. One... yes indeed, Uncle Jesse _was_ a Moonshiner! [Big pop! A small "We want Dai-sy!" chant starts up. So, so witty.] JD: And two, we will know exactly what kind of match we'll see next month in Hollywood for the final battle between Jaiden Andrews and Crusher Tyler. Those two men have been at war since Day One of this promotion and at the end of November, it will finally end. But tonight, those two men will lead teams into battle... into a Captain's Fall matchup in our main event! [A big cheer goes up for tonight's main event.] JD: We're going to see Jaiden Andrews lead his team of City Jack, Travis Cade, Matthew Judas, and the returning El Hijo Del Diablo! [Another big cheer.] JD: And on the other side, Crusher Tyler comes to battle with the Pacific Champion Calisto Dufresne... with Matthew Yates... with Pure X... and with... wait for it... [The crowd begins to buzz with anticipation.] JD: SEISHUKI! [A ripple of surprise washes over the crowd. A few cheers are made for the announcement of former EMWC competitor Seishuki as the final member of Team Crusher. You can feel a sense of disappointment that it's not a bigger name. Dane visibly grimaces at the reaction but immediately puts a big smile on his face to keep going.] JD: In addition to that, we've got the return of TORA Wanizame to Pro Wrestling Revolution as he takes on former friend and partner Takuya Nobu in one half of the "Pick your rival's opponent" challenge! And in the other half, Juvenil Infierno will face... who? Takuya Nobu had promised to come to the ring... to be the first to the ring here tonight to make the announcement. But as of right now, I understand that he's not even here yet! [Boos for Nobu. Blue haired fuck.] JD: We've got one slight change to tonight's show. We've changed the scheduled tag match between Simon Moore and the Skull taking on Bling Bling Beaumont and Shannon Stokes to two separate matches. Later tonight, we'll see the Skull take on Simon Moore in a singles match. And we'll also see an M-DOJO showcase match as Beaumont and Stokes battle fellow graduating students, The Falcon Brothers, in a tag team match up! In fact, that match is moments away but for right now- [Without warning, "Into The Pit" by Fight starts up to a surprised pop from the PWR faithful who remember who uses this music. The curtain parts and into the Santa Ana Elks Lodge walks the man who abandoned Pro Wrestling Revolution several months ago to attempt to revive his Mixed Martial Arts career, Ben Waterson. Waterson's dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans. He slaps hands with the surprised fans as he makes his way to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope to greet a surprised Jason Dane.] JD: Ben Waterson! What are- well, allow me to be the first to welcome you back! [The fans pick up on Jason's cue, launching into a "WEL-COME BACK!" chant, something that brings a grin to Waterson's face.] JD: But I've gotta say, this is very surprising, Ben. I hadn't heard anything about you appearing here tonight... let alone right here with me right now. It's great to have you back but... well, what's going on? [Waterson leans down, tugging on a black kneebrace on his leg before taking the mic from Dane.] BW: You see, Jase... I was backstage at the big J*STAR Festival a couple months back, just shooting the shit with the boys. I was actually supposed to be _on_ the show, you know. But SICA screwed me. Over and over again, SICA screwed me. I left Pro Wrestling Revolution to restart my MMA career... but not only did SICA burn out and leave me unemployed... but they stuck around just long enough to aggravate my knee injury to the point where the doctors don't know if I'll ever be able to fight again. [The fans respond with a really mixed reaction... some feeling sorry for Waterson, some decrying him as a whiner.] BW: I ran into Mr. Michaelson at J*STAR and we talked for a bit. I expressed my thanks for all he did for me... and asked if I could come back to the fold. He agreed, of course... but with my knee banged up like this, there's no way I can get in here and wrestle a match. But what I can do, Jason... I can climb into that announce booth with you and see if I can provide a little bit of color to this place. [Jason Dane looks absolutely stunned.] JD: Uh...but...well... uh... of course, I'd be happy to- [Waterson grins, shaking his head.] BW: What's wrong, Jase? Don't think I can bring anything to the table? [Dane shakes his head, pleading that's not the case... but Waterson continues.] BW: Don't think that I have anything to offer in that booth? Don't think I have anything to offer to Pro Wrestling Revolution?! [The Revolution's Play By Play man continues to shake his head, extending his hand to Waterson.] BW: What? I should shake your hand and forget that you've insulted me here tonight? Or maybe I should grab your hand and break your fucking arm. [The crowd "Ooooooohs" as Dane takes a couple steps back, pulling his arm away from Waterson.] JD: Now, Ben... I think you need to- [Waterson interrupts.] BW: Who the hell are you to tell me what I need to do, Dane?! You know what I need to do? I need to feed my family. I need to put clothes on my kid. I need to pay the rent! And no one in this business will let me do it! I can't fight. I can't wrestle. I can't announce. I can't... [Waterson looks down, shaking his head.] BW: I'm sorry, Jase. Sorry everyone. Enjoy the show. [The former MMA star turns away, starting to make his exit from the ring.] JD: Well, fans... we're in for one hell of a night. As I mentioned, in just a few moments we're going to have- [Waterson quickly turns back around, grabbing the mic again.] BW: I know! I've got it! Lemme fight _anyone_ in the back in a MMA exhibition match! JD: What? I don't think- BW: No! It'll be great! Come on, tough guys. The People of the Revolution want you to prove that professional wrestling is the sport of champions! Anyone in the back who wants to battle me in an MMA exhibition... come on out here right now! [Waterson pulls his shirt off, tossing it aside as he looks towards the entrance curtain.] JD: An open challenge to the back, fans. Ben Waterson wants to return to his roots... he wants to battle someone in an MMA exhibition fight. [Everyone turns to the curtain to look... and keep looking... and keep looking.] JD: Erm... Ben, we're pretty fully booked here tonight. We may not have anyone to- BW: Come on, people! You all think you're so bad... you think you've got enough to be the best in the business. Come show us how tough you are! Come show us your fighting spirit! [Waterson paces the ring like a caged animal, eyes locked on the entryway. A few awkward moments follow and the fans grow restless.] JD: Ben, I don't think we've got anyone for you. I think... well, I think you'd better get back to the locker room so we can go on with the show. [The former SICA competitor locks eyes with Jason Dane. The crowd buzzes with anticipation for a brief moment, wondering if Waterson will live up to his idea of breaking Dane's arm... ...and then Waterson drops down to the mat, rolling from the ring and making his way back through the curtain. Dane wipes his head with relief and then busts open a nervous grin.] JD: Never a dull moment in the Revolution, fans. Let's get this party started. Melissa? It's all yours. [With a deep bow, Dane hands the house mic to Melissa Cannon before stepping from the ring and making his way back up towards the makeshift announce table set up near the public entrance to the building.] MC: Fans, our opening match is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit. ["Separate Ways" by Journey starts up to a mild reaction from the crowd, more for the music than for any idea who'll be entering the ring to that music.] JD: It's an M-DOJO showcase here in Santa Ana, fans, as the Falcon Brothers take on Bling Bling Beaumont and "Supersonic" Shannon Stokes. Beaumont and Stokes will actually be in their second professional match here tonight but for those of you who didn't venture to Tijuana recently for their debut, it's new to you. [The curtains part to reveal Shane Falcon and Ken Falcon Jr. Both are sporting bright blond hair, tanned physiques, and yellow boots with white trunks. In fact, they look very similar to one another with Shane having a little bit of a size advantage.] JD: For longtime wrestling fans, many will recall the Falcon wrestling family of Ken Falcon Sr., Luke, Steve, and Chris Falcon as well. They held tag team and light heavyweight titles in the EMWC and were a big part of the early days of that promotion. And now we hope the next generation of Falcons will be part of the base for Pro Wrestling Revolution's future. [The two twin brothers make their way down the aisle, slapping the occasional hand before stepping up onto the apron where Ken slingshots over the ropes while Shane steps through. While they tug on the ropes to loosen up, the music changes to JJ Fad's "Supersonic". We skip over the rapping at the begin and go right to the part of the song that everyone knows. The crowd bursts into cheers as Shannon Stokes comes sailing through the curtain, sprinting down to the ring where he runs around it at a frenetic pace, slapping hands with everyone in sight.] JD: Shannon Stokes is an absolute joy to watch, fans. He's just a ball of energy so very excited to be a part of this business and this company. He loves performing before the fans and he looks even more excited to be making his debut here tonight. [After a few laps around the ring, Stokes grabs the top rope and does a full flip over the top, landing on his feet to another big cheer. Stokes is a young black man dressed in super baggy blue jeans. He's also sporting a black t-shirt with the sleeves cut out that reads "Let It Burn" on the front. Stokes stands in his corner, bouncing up and down with wired energy as he waits for his partner to hit the ring. The old school rap fades down and is replaced by Suga Free's "Cool"... which brings even more cheers from those net saavy fans who read about this guy's performance in Mexico.] JD: And you fans are gonna enjoy this. I'm just gonna sit back and watch. [The curtain parts as Bling Bling Beaumont comes pimp walkin' through the curtain. His huge afro is immediately noticeable as he stops to run a pick through it before continuing down the aisle. The fans cheer his every move as he head down the aisle, a brass topped cane tucked under his arm as he stops to dance every bit. He pauses to eye a young lady in the front row before hopping up on the ring apron, tossing the cane into the referee before leaping to the top rope and back somersaulting to his feet inside the ring where he does a quick spin before dropping down in a splits. By this point, the fans are on their feet cheering the Beaumont/Stokes duo as they continue to rock out before the music fades and Melissa Cannon takes over.] MC: The following tag team match is set for one fall and is an M-DOJO showcase. Introducing first... from Las Vegas, Nevada... they are member of the Falcon wrestling family... KEN FALCON JR... SHANE FALCON... THE FALCON BROTHERRRRRSSS!! [A decent pop for the twin brothers... although the flashy entrances of their opponents have made the Falcons the bad guys for a lot of fans in the house who boo the decidedly-less crazy Falcon Brothers.] JD: This is gonna be a fun one to watch, fans. Four men who know they only have one chance to make a first impression. If they want the PWR fans to accept them, this may be their one and only chance to get that job done. [The two teams exchange quick words within their ranks and it is decided that Ken Falcon Jr. will start things off against Shannon Stokes. Referee Patrick Rodriguez gives both men a few quick words of instruction before calling for the bell to start the match.] JD: And here we go! It's good to be back with you, fans, after a couple months off from calling the PWR action. We're looking forward to a great night here tonight as well as next month in Hollywood at 28 Days Later. Ken Falcon Jr. with a quick knuckletouch with Stokes... these guys have all trained together and know each other very, very well. [Ken Falcon Jr. immediately goes to his strengths, tying up the speedy Stokes in a collar and elbow before taking him down to the mat with a double leg trip. Falcon goes to grab a leg but Stokes quickly rolls away to the ropes before any kind of leg submission can be applied. Stokes gets to his feet as Falcon backs away with a grin.] JD: Shannon Stokes showing that his incredible speed isn't just an offensive weapon, it's defensive as well as that time he manages to slip away from Ken Falcon Jr. before anything could get locked in. Falcon's standing in the middle of the ring, waving Stokes back into a tieup. And tying up with Ken Falcon Jr. isn't a good idea for most people. [Stokes feigns going for a tieup, ducking under a lunge by the younger Falcon brother... and catches him offguard with a dropkick that sends Falcon staggering back into the ropes.] JD: Quick dropkick by Stokes... to the ropes! [Showing how he earned his nickname, Stokes sprints across the ring lightning quick to score with a leaping side knee attack that takes Falcon down to the mat.] JD: Shannon Stokes takes him down... but he's right back up, pulling Ken Falcon Jr. off the mat. [Once he has Falcon back up, Stokes pastes him with a forearm shot that knocks Falcon into the ropes again... then in one motion spins the other way to blast him with a uraken.] JD: Oh! What a shot! Ken Falcon staggers out of the ropes! [And to finish the combo, Shannon Stokes leaps into the air and uncorks a brutal kick to the side of Ken Falcon Jr's face! Big pop!] JD: KAMENGIRI!!! DOWN GOES FALCON!!! [Stokes dives into a lateral press for a two count before Ken Falcon edges a shoulder off the canvas.] JD: It's still early in this one and Stokes wasn't able to get a three count. He pulls Falcon off the mat again. Irish whi- reversed by Falcon! ["Supersonic" bounces off the ropes, ducking a clothesline attempt by Ken Falcon Jr. and then leaping to the middle rope... ...and springing back with a beautiful forearm shot that takes his opponent off his feet! Big pop!] JD: Whoa! What a forearm! [Stokes kips up to his feet, slapping the hand of Bling Bling Beaumont which brings a big cheer from the fans on hand in the Santa Ana Elks Lodge.] JD: Doubleteam coming up... big double whip... [And as Falcon rebounds, he catches two boots to the midsection from Stokes and Beaumont who race to the ropes behind him... ...and _slam_ him facefirst to the canvas with a double faceslam! Big pop!] JD: Some nice teamwork on display early on by Beaumont and Stokes. They came up short in their debut in Tijuana last week but they're looking to change that luck here tonight. [Leaning down, Beaumont peels Ken Falcon Jr. off the canvas, firing him to the corner.] JD: Ken Falcon Jr. backed into the corner and Beaumont's moving in on him. "WHAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOO!" [But it's a less enthusiastic "WOOOOO!" than normal as Beaumont can't quite shake your fillings with his chops like some PWR competitors can. Frustrated, he grabs Falcon by the wrist and fires him across the ring, chasing in behind him to connect with a leaping splash!] JD: OHHHH MY! Did you see the height- [And as Falcon staggers from the corner, Beaumont leaps high into the air again, connecting with both feet square to the face of the younger Falcon brother, causing him to sail over the ropes and down to the concrete floor below! Huge pop!] JD: Dear god! Bling Bling Beaumont with an incredible dropkick! They tell us he was a high jumper at USC until he suffered a foot injury and you can see it for sure right there. That was an incredible dropkick... one of the best I've ever- "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [The crowd explodes as Beaumont stampedes across the ring, hurling himself over the top rope with a breathtaking somersault plancha onto a stunned Ken Falcon Jr!] "BEAU-MONT!" "BEAU-MONT!" "BEAU-MONT!" [Bling Bling Beaumont climbs to his feet, cracking a huge grin at the response he's getting as he shoves Ken Falcon Jr. under the ropes and back into the ring as he steps up to the ring apron.] JD: He's waiting for Falcon to get up. Ken Falcon Jr. has no idea where Beaumont is... and from what I know, this is Beaumont setting up for his finisher, the Pimp Slap! He wants that springboard dropkick to the back of the head! [Ken Falcon Jr. staggers up to his feet, but Shane Falcon races down the apron to club Beaumont with a forearm shot before he can leap up for the springboard. A blow that Beaumont promptly responds to with a big backhand slap! Falcon recoils from the shot as Beaumont steps back into the ring, grabbing Ken Falcon by the hair and dragging him to the corner as the fans start a brief chant.] "YOU GOT PIMPED!" "YOU GOT PIMPED!" "YOU GOT PIMPED!" [A quick tag is made to Stokes who slides back in and joins in on a double whip again.] JD: Ken sent to the ropes... oh! Blind tag made by Shane Falcon! Double clothesline attempt ducked by Ken Falcon... and he ducks it again and- [And Shane Falcon stampedes towards the opposition, _creaming_ them with a huge double clothesline that takes both men down to the mat with crushing impact.] JD: OHHHH MY! Shane Falcon just ripped momentum away from Beaumont and Stokes right there. They didn't see him make the exchange with his brother and it cost them dearly. [Pulling Beaumont off the canvas, Shane Falcon _fires_ him over the ropes and down to the concrete floor below as he turns his attention back to the legal man.] JD: Good grief! Beaumont just slammed down to the concrete and that's gonna leave "Supersonic" Shannon Stokes all alone in the ring with the much-bigger Shane Falcon. [A dazed Shannon Stokes fights up to his feet in the corner... and gets rocked with a rampaging clothesline in the buckles by Falcon. As Stokes staggers out, Falcon hooks him... and hurls him up and over with a big belly to belly suplex.] JD: Overhead belly to belly by Falcon! He tossed Stokes like he weighed nothing, fans. This guy has a lot of power in him. He's very strong considering his size. [Falcon slowly stalks across the ring where Stokes is struggling to get off the canvas.] JD: No wasted movement by Shane Falcon. He knows he's got all the time in the world to- oh! Stokes fires back! And again! [Two stinging right hands catch Falcon offguard but a hard knee up into the gut doubles up his opponent which allows Falcon to pull him into a standing headscissors.] JD: He's calling for the Bomb Scare! He's going for- [But as he hoists Stokes into the air for a powerbomb, the spunky 18 year old fires back with a series of hard right hands that gets him free... ...but Falcon quickly wraps him up in a bearhug, slamming his spinefirst into the corner.] JD: Goodness. This guy's a hoss! [Falcon winds up...] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" [The crowd roars from the impact of the chop that leaves Stokes with an anguished expression on his face.] JD: Shane drags him out of the corner... just muscling him around the ring like he's nothing. Irish whip... [A lunging clothesline is deftly ducked by Stokes who hits the far ropes, leaping to the second.] JD: FOREARM! [But his second attempt of the match at the springback forearm is caught as Falcon holds him like a small child before swinging him out to the side... ...and _planting_ him on his bent knee!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: What the hell was _that_?! He swung him out of that slam position into a backbreaker.... and Shannon Stokes was nearly broken in half, fans! Shannon Stokes is in a lot of pain and he desperately needs to make the tag to Bling Bling Beaumont who just now is making his way back up onto the ring. [A smirking Shane Falcon pulls Stokes off the mat, slapping the hand of his brother as he hoists Stokes up into a bearhug.] JD: There's the tag... and Ken Falcon Jr. is heading up top! [Still holding the bearhug, Shane Falcon leans over so that Stokes is horizontal with the canvas... ...and making him the perfect target as Ken Falcon Jr. comes flying off the ropes, crashing down across the throat of the dazed Stokes with a legdrop off the top! Big mixed pop!] JD: VEG-O-MATIC BY THE FALCONS! It slices, it dices, and right now it's got Shannon Stokes on dream street. [Ken Falcon Jr. dives across Stokes for a cover.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! TH- [Pop!] JD: Oh my! Shannon Stokes slips the shoulder up... and a look of surprise on the face of Ken Falcon Jr. I think he was under the impression this match was over. But his fellow M-DOJO trainee wasn't about to stay down. [The younger Falcon pulls Stokes off the canvas and up into a fireman's carry. He walks across the ring towards the corner... then drops down to a knee, smashing Stokes' face into the top turnbuckle!] JD: Oh! Some innovative offense by Ken Falcon Jr! [A dazed Shannon Stokes somehow stays on his feet as Falcon pops up, leaps to the middle rope, and scores with a brutal kick to the head of his opponent! Pop!] JD: ENZUGIRI! A springboard enzugiri by the son of Ken Falcon! [Ken Falcon Jr. climbs to his feet, looking down at Stokes and then slapping the outstretched hand of his brother again.] JD: Another tag. These two were born and bred to be a tag team and they're showing that experience right now. Ken Falcon pulls Stokes off the mat... irish whip... [This time, as Stokes rebounds, Ken takes him up and over with a hiptoss... right onto his own bent knee. The crowd groans with sympathy for Stokes... then grows louder as Shane Falcon drops a big knee on the head of the still-held Stokes!] JD: Good grief. Some absolutely brutal doubleteams on display by the Falcon Brothers. They definitely have the teamwork edge in this one. Come on, referee! Get one of 'em out of the ring! [Shane Falcon climbs the ropes, sitting down on the top turnbuckle as Ken Falcon pulls Stokes up in a suplex... and deposits him on the waiting shoulder of his brother.] JD: Shane Falcon's standing on the middle rope! Stokes on his shoulder! Oh my god! [The Las Vegas native leaps from the rope, flying through the air... ...and _planting_ Shannon Stokes on the canvas with a powerslam from the middle rope!] JD: OHHHHHH MY! Middle rope powerslam! That's gotta do it! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE POP!] JD: Beaumont makes a save! He knew his partner was in trouble and he breaks up the pin. [An icy glare from Shane Falcon puts Beaumont back in his corner as the big man gets back to his feet, dragging a limp Stokes off the canvas.] JD: He hooks Stokes again for a suplex... lift! [As he gets Stokes in the air, Falcon lets him come back down so his legs hit the top rope.] JD: Slingshot! "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: POWERSLAM! SLINGSHOT POWERSLAM! It's the Kentucky Backsmasher that Joe Reed so many times in his glorious career! Shane Falcon has taken a page out of Joe Reed's playbook and that's gotta do it! ONE!! TWO!!! THRE- [Another big pop goes up as Beaumont hurls himself onto Shane Falcon's back, narrowly breaking up the pin in time.] JD: Beaumont saves his partner again and- uh oh! Shane Falcon's got Beaumont now! [Grabbing the fan favorite by his afro, Falcon drills him with a clothesline that puts him back down on the mat... and then turns his attention back to Stokes, calling for the Bomb Scare.] JD: Falcon pulls him into the standing headscissors! He lifts! [And _plants_ Stokes on the canvas with a crushing powerbomb... but he hangs onto it, pulling Stokes back up into the air... ...where Stokes promptly peppers him with a few weak right hands that accomplish very little. But they buy enough time for Beaumont to climb up to his feet, leaping into the air with a breathtaking dropkick that takes Shane Falcon down to the mat with Stokes on top of him.] JD: That's a cov- no, Stokes can't stay on him. But Shane Falcon's a little dazed from that dropkick and if Stokes and Beaumont were going to stand another chance in this match, now's the time! [The duo pulls Shane Falcon off the mat, firing him to the opposite corner where Stokes immediately charges in, connecting with a spinning leg lariat and then dropping down to all fours.] JD: Beaumont follows him in! [And springs off his partner's back, spinning through the air and connecting with a flying discus clothesline! Big pop!] JD: Shane Falcon's in trouble! Here comes Ken! [Ken Falcon races across the ring at top speed, leaping into the air for a double knee to the back of Beaumont... ...who moves!] JD: KEN NAILED HIS OWN BROTHER!! [A stunned Ken Falcon staggers back and is hooked by Stokes who wraps his leg between Ken's and sweeps the legs while driving the back of Falcon's skull into the canvas!] JD: STO! STO BY STOKES!! [Ken Falcon Jr. rolls from the ring, reeling from the impact of the STO. Shane Falcon staggers from the buckles where Stokes is waiting.] JD: He hooks Shane... split legged jawbreaker! [And in one motion, he rolls backwards, kipping up to snare Shane Falcon's head with his legs, snapping him down to the canvas with a rana! Huge pop!] JD: A blur of motion is Shannon Stokes! [Still moving, Stokes drops down to all fours again as Beaumont steps up onto his back and uncorks a standing Shooting Star Press!] JD: SSP! SSP! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! [DING DING DING] MC: Your winner of the match... the team of Shannon Stokes and Bling Bling Beaumont! [A massive ovation goes up for the two youngsters who excitedly embrace in the center of the ring as Ken Falcon Jr. drags his brother under the ropes to the floor.] JD: An impressive outing for all four M-DOJO graduates but in the end, it goes down as a victory for Shannon Stokes and Bling Bling Beaumont after a beautiful standing Shooting Star Press by Beaumont off his partner's back. Beautiful. Fans, this is gonna be one hell of a night! And in just a few moments, we're about to see Pure X and Jaiden Andrews battle for the right to be declared the embodiment of the Spirit of the Revolution. But first, let's look back at how we got to this point in the tournament! [We fade to a pre-taped video segment. The sounds of Johnny Cash's cover of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down" are heard as we see highlights from the past two months of action. A graphic appears that reads "Stage One Night One" as some still photos appear from that night's action involving our two finalists. A Jaiden Andrews Yakuza kick that knocked Kazuo Ishiguro over the ropes to the concrete floor. A tope con hilo onto the Human Guinea Pig moments later. And a frog splash that ended Andrews' first match in the tournament. From action later in the show, we see Pure X execute a dragon screw legwhip before moving into an STF on an injured Matthew Yates for a ref stoppage. "Stage One Night Two" Pure X driving his feet into the knee of the sumo warrior Kurokumo to take him down to the canvas. The arrogant rookie slapping the massive beast across the face. In the end, his application of a bridging Indian deathlock to get the submission victory. Andrews obliterating Stevie Harris with the Shining Wizard for a relatively easy victory. "Stage One Night Three" Pure X on his back, toying with Kristian Cruz as he allowed Cruz to tie him up, only to counter his every move. X glaring at Matthew Judas who mockingly applauds from ringside before taking Cruz down with a bridging Dragon Suplex for a three count. Andrews scoring with a high impact frog splash on Takuya Nobu... followed shortly by a Phoenix Splash. Ultimately, Andrews cradles Nobu out of a figure four leglock attempt for the victory. "Stage One Night Four" Andrews and Seth Garcia battling in the crowd. Snapping Garcia off the ropes to the canvas with a top rope rana. A Shining Wizard that spelled certain defeat for the Black Bison. Pure X bending Juvenil Infierno's leg over his neck in a Argentina backbreaker type hold then spinning around and round with him. A top rope dragon screw to the canvas. X countering a rana attempt into the STF... but falling just short of the submission as time expired. "Stage One Night Five" X taking down a posing Crusher Tyler with a crucifix pin. A rolling single leg Boston Crab counter to a clothesline attempt. Wrigging free from a Burning Hammer attempt to roll up Tyler in a rolling reverse cradle with a bridge for a three count. Andrews standing stunned as Calisto Dufresne walked out on their match, opting to take the countout than risk injury in the match. "Stage One Night Six" Pure X trading submission holds with Tyson Bryson. A drop toehold takedown floated into a crossface. The STF being put to deadly use again for another submission. Andrews using an Air Raid Crash to counter the flipping piledriver attempt by Matthew Judas. A Phoenix Splash from the top rope to the floor. And in the end, the Celestial Phenomenon swandive rana for the three count. "Stage One Night Seven" X taunting a beaten Larry Watters Jr. before dropping him on his head with Judas' Betrayal double underhook piledriver for a victory. Andrews scoring with a somersault kick to the skull of Kenta Kitzukawa. A sharp superkick that sent Kitzukawa over the ropes to the floor. And finally, a tightly cradled hurracanrana for the three count. "Stage Two" A rapid-fire series of photos of Pure X grounding Takuya Nobu with armbars, kneebars, wristlocks... you name it. In the end, X took down a distracted Nobu with a Russian legsweep off the ropes rolled into a cradle for the three count. Andrews scoring with the Celestial Phenomenon for the victory. And a final graphic... "Stage Three... Tonight!" And with that, we fade back to the ring where Melissa Cannon is standing.] MC: The following contest is set for one fall with a sixty minute time limit and is to determine the winner of the Spirit of the Revolution tournament! [Stabbing Westward's "The Thing I Hate" starts up to a gigantic heel pop as the one known as Pure X stands atop the aisle. As the fans let him know what they think, Pure X simply grins and slowly strides down the aisle.] JD: This guy is a Grade A jackass, fans. After the opportunity that Todd Michaelson has given him... for him to just spit in his face... in _all_ our faces. It just sickens me. He's broken PWR policy. He's betrayed the boys in the back. It's just a matter of time before this kid gets what's coming to him... and I for one, hope it's tonight. [Pure X sports a black t-shirt and a pair of dark green baggy pants with two crossed swords on each leg in the form of an X. As he reaches the ring apron, he looks around at the fans and just smiles, inciting the crowd a bit more, as he puts his arms up in an X before finally entering the ring. The music fades out and is replaced by Saliva's "Superstar". The lights around the wrestler's entrance begin to flash on and off, with the primary colors represented. With the crowd already cheering, the curtains part to either side... the cheers reaching a crecendo as Jaiden Andrews walks out from the back. With his arms raised high into the air, the always-confident Andrews lets out a yell -- one that is answered from the rabid crowd. Looking around the the crowd waiving signs and cheering, Andrews smiles proudly. Andrews begins to walk down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans in the front rows. Grabbing a sign from a fan, Andrews waves it in front of the camera -- "JAIDEN ANDREWS: THE _TRUE_ PWR CHAMPION!" Handing it back to the fan, Andrews continues down the aisle. Reaching the ringside area, he takes a running start and jumps onto the apron.] JD: Jaiden Andrews looks focused on this match... his first of the night. With the Captain's Fall Match at the end of the night, can the "SoCal Superstar" take on this challenge? Can he win the Spirit of the Revolution tonight? [Andrews grabs the top rope, leaning back and propelling himself over it, doing a somersault into the ring. Quickly getting up to his feet, Andrews walks over to each of the four corners, raising both of his arms into the air for a second time... with the crowd eating it up. Andrews then walks over to his corner, taking off his shirt and handing it to a ringside attendant. Adjusting the tape around each of his wrists, Andrews waits for the match to begin.] MC: Introducing first... he hails from Pittsburgh, PA by way of Southern California... standing 6'2 and weighing in tonight at 227 pounds... PUUUUUUUUUUUUURE X! [The crowd roars with disapproval at the arrogant rookie who leans in the buckles, not even acknowledging them. Oh, but they acknowledge him.] "X SUCKS DICK!" "X SUCKS DICK!" "X SUCKS DICK!" [Pure X looks a little more annoyed now, but he manages to keep his focus inside the ring. A lone fan screams out "JAIDEN'S GONNA FUCK YOU UP!" loud enough to be heard by the camera's mic which brings a grin to Andrews' face as Melissa continues the introductions.] MC: And his opponent...hailing from Anaheim, California... [The home state love already begins to rain down.] MC: He stands 6'0" and weighs in at 229 pounds... the _winner_ of the J*STAR Cup... JAAAAAAAIDEN ANDREWWWWWS! [A monstrous pop goes up for Andrews, who thrusts an arm in the air to acknowledge the cheers of the fans. Our spunky ring announcer makes her exit as referee Steve Stevens goes over a few last second instructions before calling for the bell to bring the match to action.] JD: The Spirit of the Revolution Finals are underway! Both of these men have fought very hard to get here... but in the back of their minds, they both have to be very concerned about their condition going into tonight's main event. If Jaiden Andrews were to get injured here, you know that Crusher Tyler will try to exploit it later tonight. And after the comments that Pure X has made over the past few weeks, you know that he'll be a marked man, injury or not, in tonight's Captain's Fall match. So, they'll need to be very careful in this one to make sure they don't do any damage to themselves on the road to winning it. [As the bell rings, Pure X cockily swaggers out to the center of the ring, an arrogant smirk plastered to his face. He points an accusatory finger at Andrews, shouting something unheard by the camera at him. Andrews moves in on X, eyes burning with fire.] JD: We've got a staredown in the center of the ring. Pure X is talking a _lot_ right here, fans. I wish I could read lips right now. What on earth could he possibly have to- "SLAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: A SLAP ACROSS THE FACE BY PURE- [HUGE POP!] JD: SPEAR! JAIDEN ANDREWS SPEARS HIM OUT OF HIS DAMN BOOTS! [An enraged Andrews seizes the chance to pummel Pure X with clenched right hands, driving them over and over into X's skull.] JD: He's all over Pure X! I bet X is wishing he'd kept his damn mouth shut now, fans! [Climbing to his feet, the J*STAR Crown winner pulls X up by the hair, firing him across the ring... ...and levelling him with a clothesline! Big pop!] JD: Nothing fancy there. Just a big time clothesline showing Pure X that no one's gonna back down from him. He thinks he's big time? He's gonna get his ass kicked big time tonight! And fans, I apologize for not being unbiased... but I just can't do it with how Pure X has acted in recent weeks. [Andrews leans over near the ropes, waving for Pure X to get back to his feet, standing across the ring from his opponent. And as Pure X staggers up to his feet... ...the Anaheim native sprints across the ring, leaving his feet with a huge dropkick that sends Pure X sailing through the ropes and down to the carpeted floor! Another big pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews is on fire! He's taking it to Pure X here in this one and this kid _is_ the spirit of the Revolution, fans! [The J*STAR Crown holder leans against the ropes, waiting for Pure X to regain his feet on the floor and as he does...] JD: ANDREWS CHARGES!! [The crowd erupts in anticipation of the tope con hilo to the floor... ...but Pure X bails out of the way before Andrews can take flight, forcing the Anahiem native to bounce off the ropes, rolling back to his feet in the center of the ring where he gets a huge ovation as he waves Pure X back into the fray.] JD: Yeah! Not so tough now, are you X?! This kid thought he had all the answers. He thought he had this match won... this tournament won before he ever stepped into the ring. [Pure X takes a seat at ringside, glaring at the waiting Jaiden Andrews.] JD: Come on, X! Get back in there! [The Pennsylvania native climbs to his feet, walking around the ringside area, not taking his eyes off of Andrews... but not making any move to get back into the ring.] JD: Jaiden's screaming at him to get in the ring... but Pure X is not even making an effort to get in there. Referee Steve Stevens has yet to start a ten count... but he's ordering Pure X back in. [X stops, staring at the official... and suddenly, a chant starts up.] "YOU'RE A PUS-SY!" clap clap clapclapclap "YOU'RE A PUS-SY!" clap clap clapclapclap "YOU'RE A PUS-SY!" clap clap clapclapclap "YOU'RE A PUS-SY!" clap clap clapclapclap "YOU'RE A PUS-SY!" clap clap clapclapclap [An irate Pure X looks around at the jeering crowd with rage on his face.] JD: Pure X is letting this hostile crowd get to him. He's not used to being this hated by this many people at once. This kid may have bitten more than he can chew. [As the chant continues, Pure X starts screaming back at the fans... ...and then waves them off with his arms, walking towards the exit to the building.] JD: What the-?! He's leaving?! [The fans erupt in boos as Pure X makes his way down the walkway towards the exit to the locker room.] JD: Pure X is walking out of this building! He's walking out on this match! I can't believe this. After all the trash he's talked... after all the crap he's spewed out of his mouth in the past few weeks, he's walking out on this match?! [Jaiden Andrews looks on in shock for a moment... then makes a decision.] JD: Jaiden's going after him! Jaiden Andrews is going out after him! [Andrews slides out to the floor, racing towards where Pure X is about to step through the entryway... ...and clubs him from behind with a forearm smash! Big pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews isn't about to let this match end like that, fans! He wants to win this tournament in the middle of the ring... not see it end in some kind of counout or forfeit. He wants to earn this tournament victory. [The J*STAR Crown winner peppers Pure X with a pair of right hands, grabbing him by the hair... ...and slamming him facefirst into the door to the men's bathroom! Pop!] JD: We've got a fight on our hands now, fans! Jaiden Andrews wants to fight with this son of a bitch! Come on, Jaiden! [Grabbing Pure X by the hair again, Andrews drags him back down the aisle, heading towards the ring.] JD: Jaiden's bringing him back the hard way. Dragging him back towards the ring and- [Andrews clutches Pure X by the wrist and irish whips him, sending him head over heels crashing into the steel chairs around the ringside area! Huge pop!] JD: OHHHH MY! The fans are scattering! We've got chaos out here at ringside and this is only the second match of the night! Bodies and chairs are strewn everywhere in sight and- [The fan favorite wades through the mess of steel chairs and rabid fans, making his way towards a stunned Pure X. He reaches down to pull Pure X off the carpet, dragging him towards the ring again.] JD: Heading back to the ring... what's this? Ohhh! Shinbreaker by Jaiden Andrews! He's got Pure X down to a knee, hurting for certain. [Andrews quickly backs off, slapping his right knee... and charging towards Pure X, springing off the bent knee... ...but X manages to avoid the Shining Wizard...] "CLAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!" [...but the steel ringpost does not! Huge stunned pop!] JD: Oh my god! Oh my! Jaiden Andrews just delivered the Shining Wizard to the steel ringpost! Andrews' knee met the steel! My god... the knee hit the steel and you can hear Jaiden Andrews absolutely screaming in agony. His kneecap may have shattered on impact with the steel post. Pure X somehow managed to avoid the Shining Wizard and Jaiden Andrews paid the price in a big, big way. [Pure X pulls himself back to his feet and immediately targets the injured limb.] JD: Oh! Stomps and kicks to the knee of Jaiden Andrews! Pure X sees the bullseye painted on that knee and now he's going right for it. This is fantastic strategy on the part of Pure X. He knows that if he can do a lot of damage to the knee, he'll eliminate a large portion of Andrews' offense in this match. [Leaning over, X grabs the foot of the on-his-belly Andrews, hoisting it up... and _driving_ the kneecap down on the carpeted floor! The crowd groans in sympathy as Pure X smirks, looking down on his opponent.] JD: X is doing a number on the leg, pulling him off the floor now and shoving him back under the bottom rope. Pure X would love to win this tournament so badly. To have someone with views like him as the Spirit of the Revolution? It'd be an embarassment to this entire promotion. [Pure X rolls back into the ring as well, climbing to his feet... and immediately leaping into the air, driving a knee down into the back of Andrews' injured knee, sending a howl of pain into the air.] JD: And this is exactly what we said these guys needed to avoid. Jaiden Andrews can not afford to have a serious knee injury occur here tonight. He's got the Captain's Fall match tonight. He's got the huge match with Crusher Tyler next month in Hollywood. He can not afford an injury in this match, no matter how high the stakes are. [A few more hard stomps to the knee sends Jaiden Andrews crawling away, trying to get to the ropes to avoid any further attack. But Pure X is having none of that, grabbing the foot... lifting high...] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: KNEE DOWN TO THE MAT AGAIN!! OHHH MY! Jaiden Andrews is clutching the knee... clutching the right knee that he uses to perform the Shining Wizard with. And there's no way... _no way_... that we'll be seeing the Shining Wizard again tonight with the amount of punishment he's taking. [Pure X backs off for a bit, taunting a fan at ringside waving a "JAIDEN'S THE SPIRIT!" sign... which allows Jaiden Andrews to use the ropes to pull himself off the canvas... ...only to have Pure X kick the injured knee from behind, taking Andrews' legs out from under him as he crashes down to the canvas.] JD: Jaiden's down again. That knee is taking a horrific amount of punishment... and it looks like Andrews is rolling out to the apron. He's trying to get the hell away from Pure X... but X is going out there after him. Pure X is on the attack again! [The brash rookie steps through the ropes to the apron, pulling Andrews to his feet by the hair.] JD: This can't be good, fans. It can't be good at all. What on earth is Pure X doing out on the ring apron? He's hooking the leg... a shinbreaker? That's going to be hard to hit out there on the apron. He lifts! [And pauses for a moment before stepping off the apron... ...and _slamming_ Andrews' knee on the ring apron! Deafening stunned pop!] JD: Oh my god! What the hell- what the hell was that?! A shinbreaker _on_ the ring apron?! I've never seen that done before! I've _never_ seen that done before! [Pure X climbs to his feet on the floor, smirking at the badly-hurting Jaiden Andrews... and then turning his attention to a ringside fan screaming at the top of his lungs at him.] JD: These fans have been all over Pure X all night. And he's letting them get to him. His inexperience is shining through. [Growing more irate with every moment, Pure X steps up to the screaming fan, getting right in his face. Dumb to the core, the fan doesn't back down a bit... and Pure X is right there trading words with him.] JD: We may need to get some security out here. These fans are on the verge of ripping Pure X's damn head off. They're wanting to rip him limb from limb right here in Santa Ana! [A handful of PWR officials race from the back, pulling Pure X away from the screaming fan... and ushering him back into the ring where Jaiden Andrews has already rolled back in, leaning in the corner to try and keep the weight off his knee.] JD: Jaiden's already back in... and thankfully, we've got Pure X back in as well. That fan is being talked to by our security... trying to get him settled down. We encourage our fans to be as vocal as they'd like but this is a situation that could get real bad at a moment's notice. Pure X back to his feet, moving towards the corner. [X leans over, grinning at the injured Andrews... taunting him as he stands wounded in the buckles.] "SLAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Oh! Big slap across the face by Pure X! That jackass is just taunting Jaiden Andrews... just trying to embarass him now. That big slap is just insulting! Just insul- [The crowd erupts as Andrews explodes out of the corner, rocking Pure X with a forearm shot... then another... a third staggers Pure X... ...until he drives a boot into the injured knee, knocking Andrews back a bit and giving Pure X enough room to leave his feet with a picture perfect dropkick that knocks Andrews back into the corner.] JD: Pure X is just having his way with Jaiden Andrews right now. Jaiden let his emotions get the better of him early in the match and now Pure X is just working him over. [Grabbing Andrews' foot, he wraps the injured limb around the middle rope and starts pummeling it with right hands... then kicks... then knees... then headbutts.] JD: Good grief! An offensive explosion working over the knee of Jaiden Andrews... and referee Steve Stevens is trying to back him off, trying to get him away from Jaiden Andrews! [Pure X backs away, waving his arms at the fans and drawing even more jeers from the Pro Wrestling Revolution crowd. As Stevens gets Andrews free, Pure X shoves him aside and moves back in.] JD: What the hell-?! Come on, referee! Get him back! [But Pure X ignores the referee's instructions, hoisting Andrews off the canvas and despositing him on the top rope.] JD: Pure X is in total control... just like he hopes to be later tonight in the Captain's Fall match. You know he has to also be thinking ahead to next month in Hollywood. Matthew Judas has asked PWR officials to add X to the team of Yates and Dufresne for the big tag match... but Pure X has stated that he will _never_ face Matthew Judas in a match. Of course, he may not have a choice tonight in the Captain's Fall match. You know Judas will be looking to get his hands on Pure X... not to mention on Calisto Dufresne and Matthew Yates. [With Andrews stunned on the top rope, Pure X steps up to the middle rope.] JD: He's going for... yes, he's calling for a superplex! Pure X is gonna try and superplex Andrews off the top rope and down to the canvas. He's going to- oh! Right hand by Andrews! [The crowd roars as Jaiden Andrews fires back with right hands... then a pair of hard forearms to the side of the face that staggers Pure X. A headbutt nearly sends Pure X down to the mat.] JD: He's fighting it! Come on, Jaiden! Fight back! [Standing, Andrews drives a pair of left knees into the side of Pure X's skull, sending him sailing from the ropes and down to the hard canvas below.] JD: Down goes Pure X! Jaiden Andrews has a second wind! [Pure X slowly regains his feet... ...and is greeted with two feet to the face as Jaiden Andrews hurls himself off the middle rope with a dropkick to the jaw! Huge pop!] JD: Yes! Yes! Jaiden Andrews showing signs of life! Jaiden Andrews is showing that he just might have enough to win this match yet! [Andrews grabs the top rope, dragging himself back to his feet just as Pure X pushes himself to his feet, staggering toward a still-injured Jaiden Andrews.] JD: X moving in on Jaiden... Jaiden doesn't see him coming, I don't thin- OHHHHHHHHH!!! [The crowd _erupts_ with Jason Dane as Andrews drops his head, scooping the approaching Pure X up into a fireman's carry and muscling him over the top rope and down to the carpeted floor below!] JD: A desperation move by Jaiden Andrews! He took Pure X all the way over the top to the floor! Total desperation by the J*STAR Crown champion and he's got a renewed chance to win this thing. [Pure X lies on the floor for a bit, slowly starting to recover as Jaiden Andrews, still holding the top rope, turns his attention to the recovering Pure X.] JD: X back to his feet and- [Grabbing the top rope with both hands, Jaiden Andrews slingshots himself over the ropes, crashing down onto a stunned Pure X! Huge pop!] JD: SLINGSHOT PLANNNNNNCHAAAAAAA!!! Jaiden Andrews with a new lease on life is taking it to Pure X! He took to the sky with some of his high-impact and unfortunately high risk offense. Andrews peels Pure X off the floor, rolling him back into the ring. [Andrews forces himself up onto the ring apron, hobbling towards the corner where he attempts to climb the ropes on one leg.] JD: One legged corner climb... he needs to hurry up though. Jaiden Andrews is taking too long to climb the ropes. Up to the second... only using his arms to muscle himself up to the top. [But Pure X is back to his feet, staggering to the corner where he grabs Andrews... ...and hurls him down to the canvas!] JD: Oh my! He throws him down like he's nothing... and just like that, Pure X regains control of the match. Jaiden Andrews went for the high risk offense and came up snake eyes as his leg just wouldn't allow him to climb the ropes fast enough to beat Pure X to his feet. [Pure X leans in the corner, waving for Andrews to get back to his feet which slowly, the J*STAR Crown Champion manages to do... ...only to have Pure X _drive_ his shoulder into the back of Andrews' knee, taking him down to the canvas again!] JD: CLIP! He clipped the knee! And a cover! ONE!!! TWO!!! [Pop!] JD: Not enough. Jaiden Andrews showing that fighting spirit that has made him one of the favorites in this company. The fans love Jaiden Andrews' spirit and he's showing it to the world here tonight. [An irate Pure X quickly gets to his feet, grabbing the foot of Andrews... ...and wrapping him into a spinning toehold!] JD: Ahhh! Listen to the cry of pain from Jaiden Andrews! Pure X putting some major torque on the knee of Jaiden Andrews, really trying to force a submission out of Andrews. I can't imagine that happening... but it's something that Andrews may want to consider. He knows he needs to be able to fight tonight in Captain's Fall. He knows he needs to be able to fight Crusher Tyler next month in Hollywood. A submission here would lose him the Spirit of the Revolution tournament, yes... but it's not the worst idea. [Leaning over, increasing the pressure on the knee and ankle, Pure X slaps Andrews across the face.] JD: Ohhh! What a jerk! What a jackass Pure X is! [Smirking, Pure X reaches down to grab the other leg to switch into a figure four leg lock... ...and suddenly finds himself rolled into an inside cradle!] JD: INSIDE CRADLE!! ONE!!! TWO!! THR- [Big disappointed pop!] JD: That was close! So close! Jaiden Andrews almost surprised him with that inside cradle to take the win. [Andrews is a step slower to regain his feet and eats a big kneelift that sends Jaiden falling back into the corner.] JD: Pure X puts him in the buckles... moving in on him now... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: Big chop by the technician! He winds up again! "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" [The big series of chops leaving Andrews hanging onto the top rope, trying desperately to stay on his feet... ...and leaving him wide open as Pure X wraps his hands around the throat of Jaiden Andrews, strangling the Anaheim native.] JD: Come on, referee! Give me a break! [Referee Steve Stevens physically intervenes, pulling Pure X out of the turnbuckles.] JD: Whoa! Way to go, Steve! [Pure X throws the referee aside, charging back in and leaping into the air with a dropkick... ...and landing hard on the back of his head as Jaiden Andrews steps to the side! Huge pop!] JD: Yeah! Jaiden moved and Pure X's skull hit the mat! [Andrews grabs the legs of Pure X, flipping over him with a double leg cradle!] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: He almost had him, fans! Jaiden Andrews was a second away from becoming the Spirit of the Revolution winner! He was just a second away from sending Pure X packing with his tail between his legs! [Andrews slowly drags himself up, pulling Pure X up by the hair and into a front facelock.] JD: Suplex? He's going for a suplex! He's going for- no! He can't get him up! He can't get him off his feet! Jaiden's knee gave out on him and- [And Pure X quickly hooks his opponent, lifting him up, and bringing him down in another shinbreaker.] JD: Ohhh! And Pure X hangs on to the leg... hangs on for- [HUUUUUGE "OHHHHH!" as Pure X snaps Andrews over to the canvas with a dragon screw legwhip!] JD: Right back to the knee. You can hate Pure X all you want... you can say all the bad things about him that you want... but you can not deny that he is one of the most skilled competitors in the ring that we've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. He went right back to the knee after a flurry of offense by Jaiden Andrews and immediately puts himself back in control of the match. [Pure X pops up to his feet, taunting the jeering crowd by screaming "This is your superstar?!" before spitting on the fallen Andrews.] JD: Oh come on! There's no call for that, fans! No call for it at all! [X yanks Andrews into a front facelock, hoisting Andrews up for a suplex... ...but Jaiden flips free, landing on his feet behind a shocked Pure X. And then immediately leaving his feet, lashing out with a boot.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" [MASSIVE POP!] JD: ENZUGIRI! ENZUGIRI BY JAIDEN ANDREWS! That brutal kick to the back of the head puts Pure X down... and Jaiden Andrews has another chance at this. He's fought so hard to stay in this match. He gets beat down but he keeps on fighting. And he covers! ONE!!!! TWO!!!! THR- [A tired Jaiden Andrews covers his head with his hands, disappointed that he didn't get the three count. He pushes himself to his feet and snaps a legdrop down across the throat of Pure X, waving for another count.] JD: Again! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [But again, Pure X fires a shoulder off the canvas in time. Andrews again buries his head in his hands, disappointed at the kickout. He manages to force himself up again, nearly losing his balance on the bad knee as he does so.] JD: Andrews pulling him off the mat again... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: A big chop sends Pure X back to the corner! [Andrews moves in, rearing back.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [A brutal series of stiff forearm shots puts the technician in danger. Andrews takes a step back, spinning... ...and uncorking a major rolling elbow that sends Pure X sailing over the ropes and down to the carpeted floor below! Massive pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews is giving it everything he's got! Everything! He's fighting with every bit of heart he has and- my god, Jaiden Andrews is going up top! Jaiden Andrews is scaling the ropes with his injured leg... getting all the way to the top rope... [And as Pure X staggers to his feet, Andrews _hurls_ himself off the top rope with a somersault plancha, completely wiping out himself as well as his opponent! HUUUUUUUGE POP!] "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" [The two men lie motionless on the carpeted floor, the crowd roaring all around them as they suck wind into their bodies, trying to find the energy to keep going.] JD: Both men are down... both men are hurting and- [Pop!] JD: Jaiden Andrews sits up! Andrews pushing himself off the floor, dragging Pure X up as well... and shoving him back into the ring! Jaiden Andrews wants to fight this in the ring... he wants to end this in the ring. He wants to be the Spirit of the Revolution and he wants to embody the Revolution in doing it! [A tired and hurting Jaiden Andrews hobbles along the ring apron, again weakly and slowly climbing the turnbuckles. Pure X is motionless on the canvas as Andrews reaches the top rope, standing on one leg... ...and hurling himself through the air, pumping his legs...] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" JD: FROG SPLASH!! FROG SPLASH!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [DEAFENING SHOCKED POP!] JD: SHOULDER UP! THAT SON OF A BITCH GOT THE SHOULDER UP! I can't believe it! I thought it was over... I thought Jaiden Andrews had won it but that son of a bitch Pure X wouldn't stay down for a three count. [A frustrated Andrews lets it boil over, driving a few right hands into Pure X... then wrapping his hands around the throat of his opponent.] JD: A blatant choke applied by Jaiden Andrews. He's obviously feeling the frustration of this matchup, trying to strangle the life out of Pure X right here in Santa Ana. [Andrews climbs to his feet as he's reprimanded by the official, then drags Pure X up as well... and uncorks a big chop that knocks him back into the ropes.] JD: Irish whip... backdr- [But the Anaheim native drops his head too early, allowing Pure X to hook him and snap him down to the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker!] JD: Neckbreaker! And a cover! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [Pop!] JD: Andrews creeps a shoulder up! He's trying to stay in this one... trying to stay in the tournament. Pure X back up, pulling Jaiden off the- [A huge pop erupts as Andrews explodes upwards with a European uppercut that rattles Pure X's teeth, sending him falling back. A second one is on target as well, knocking him down to a knee.] JD: He's on a knee! The crowd's going crazy as Jaiden backs off! They know what's coming! The world knows what's coming! [And it becomes apparent that Pure X knows what's coming too as he drops down to both knees to avoid the Shining Wizard. A frustrated Andrews simply uncorks a side savate kick that drills Pure X in the face, bending him back over his own legs to the canvas as Andrews dives on top.] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [Big disappointed pop!] JD: Again! Again Pure X slips the shoulder off the mat! Both of these men are giving it their all. Both of these men displaying tremendous fighting spirit in this match. [Andrews pulls Pure X up by the hair, firing him into the ropes and then dropping down as Pure X rebounds.] JD: Pure X off the ropes again... [And Andrews somehow finds the strength in his leg to leap backwards into the air, driving his boot into the skull of Pure X once again!] JD: SOMERSAULT KICK! DOWN GOES PURE X!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE SHOCKED POP!] JD: Shoulder up! Pure X slid the shoulder off the mat! This kid is refusing to stay down. If he loses tonight, he'll have to eat every word he's said over the past few weeks. He'll have to- [Andrews stands over Pure X, trying to figure out what to do next... when suddenly Pure X rolls his legs up, snaring Andrews' legs and taking him off his feet... ...and when he regains his own feet, Pure X is gripping the ankle of Jaiden Andrews in his hands!] JD: ANKLELOCK! MY GOD, AN ANKLELOCK OUT OF NOWHERE!! [And Pure X promptly gets a very wide base, putting tons of pressure on the injured knee and ankle of Jaiden Andrews who claws at the canvas, trying to find a way out.] JD: Jaiden Andrews seemed to have things going his way and all of a sudden, Pure X wrapped him up in this standing ankle lock... and we're told he calls this "The X". He's got the anklelock applied firmly and- [Andrews frantically crawls towards the ropes... but finds himself dragged back to the center of the ring before he can reach them.] JD: Jaiden desperately needs to get to the ropes! The Captain's Fall match... his big match with Crusher Tyler... those thoughts racing through his mind. He's gotta decide how much this match means to him... how much does he-?! [And after one last lunge at the ropes that comes up empty, Jaiden Andrews makes his choice.] JD: HE TAPPED OUT! [DING DING DING] JD: Jaiden Andrews tapped out to The X! He tapped out! [The bell rings again as Steve Stevens races over, pulling on Pure X's arms to break the hold... which he finally does.] MC: Ladies and gentlemen... your winner of the match and your 2004 Spirit of the Revolution champion... PURE X! [A deafening heel pop goes up for Pure X as he looks down on his fallen opponent, his hands clutching his ankle now.] JD: Pure X has done it. Pure X has gone through some of the best in this company en route to winning the Spirit of the Revolution tournament. And in the end, he takes down the man that many considered the top talent in Pro Wrestling Revolution to do it. Jaiden Andrews gave it everything he had but in the end, he comes up just a little bit short. [Andrews is helped to his feet by Steve Stevens, leaning in the corner with an anguished expression on his face.] JD: A lot of pain on the face of Jaiden Andrews and you've gotta wonder how this will effect his showing in the Captain's Fall match later tonight. You've got to- [The crowd falls to a hush as Andrews limps across the ring... ...and extends his hand.] JD: What a show of respect. A show of sportsmanship by Jaiden Andrews. He extends his hand to Pure X... showing his willingness to accept that X is the better man on this night. He's willing to- "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [The crowd erupts with rage as Pure X responds by spitting in the face of Jaiden Andrews before dropping to the mat and rolling from the ring.] JD: A blatant show of disrespect by Pure X... and I'm sickened to say he is the Spirit of the Revolution winner. Pure X may have won the match and the tournament... but in my book, he's far from embodying the spirit of this Revolution. [A disappointed Jaiden Andrews raises a hand to salute the fans cheering him wildly as he too rolls from the ring and starts making his way back up the aisle.] JD: Jaiden Andrews is visibly disappointed but he needs to get past it in a hurry because he still has another match to come later tonight. Hopefully that knee and ankle will hold up for Captain's Fall. And speaking of Captain's Fall, we've got a member of Team Crusher standing backstage right now with some... legal advisement. Let's go back to the locker room where the Pacific Champion Calisto Dufresne is with Jonathan H. Smith! [The camera cuts backstage, where we find two familiar (and despised) faces to PWR fans - PWR Pacific Champion Calisto Dufresne and Jonathan Smith, attorney for Matthew Yates.æ Dufresne is already clad in his wrestling attire, prepared to battle later this evening, his Pacific Championship slung over his broad shoulder. Smith is wearing a blue dress shirt and navy tie, foregoing the usual entire suit. We hear from Dufresne first as he paces around the locker room a bit.] CD: I've got to tell you, Smith.æ You've got a lot more brains than I originally thought.æ This plan has worked out perfectly. JS:æ I told you it would, Mr. Dufresne.æ I do not go into things with half hearted intentions.æ You know as well as I.æ If you are going to do something, do it right. CD: There's no doubt about that.æ As an outsider, I must say, the great things you're doing for Yates are quite admirable.æ I mean, you're setting him up to ensure a long and prosperous career in this industry.æ He could have a chance to become a star like me one day. JS:æ Let's hope he can only get to that very high mountain one day under the guidance of yourself, the Pacific Champion, and myself [A smile from Dufresne.] CD: Well, are we on the same page for tonight?æ He knows what he's supposed to do? JS: He knows _and_ he's ready.æ I have been instructing him daily.æ If he doesn't have it firmly engrained, he never will. CD: Nobody is going to get a chance to pin me, the champ.æ There'll be no kind of title defense like The Man would like.æ I'm not going to be held down like they tried to hold Yates down. JS:æ No, no you won't.æ Matthew knows... [A door off to the left swings open and from it emerges the man in question, Matthew Yates. Yates is dressed for war in his all black ring attire, a brand spankin' new "Xlerator~!" t-shirt over his attire. ] CD: Matt, buddy, how are ya'!? [A cheesy smile from our champion.] MY:æ We're not friends.æ We're just workin' together. JS:æ Come on Matt.æ There is no reason for this animosity.æ Mr. Dufresne has nothing but the best intentions for you.æ He sees a star in you, Matthew.æ A star. CD: He's right, Matt.æ You've got to put some trust in Mr. Smith here.æ He... _WE_ have your best interests in mind here.æ It's just Mr. Smith and I looking out for you in this business.æ The rest of these snakes that are in this business don't care about you - they don't care about your future.æ It's just us.æ We've got to stick together. [A serious nod from Dufresne.] MY:æ I've always been alone in this world.æ I've always done things on my own. JS:æ For once let that burden be taken off you.æ For once... trust someone. [Yates turns and walks out the door, leaving his counsel and the champion.æ Dufresne leans over to Smith and speaks in a low, serious tone.] CD: Make sure he doesn't screw up. [Dufresne now takes his turn, heading out the door, leaving Smith alone. Cut back to the ring where Simon Moore is already standing, casting a lusty lance at Melissa Cannon.] MC: The following contest is set for one fall with a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, already in the ring at this time, standing 5'10 and weighing 183 pounds... from Costa Mesa, California... "The Hot Spot Hero"... SIMON MOOOOOOORE! [Moore is a well built and toned young man with bleached spiked blond hair, blue eyes, and a sickeningly perfect tan. He's wearing faded aqua marine shorts and wrestling boots along with white elbow and knee pads. He raises an arm to salute the mild hometown cheers from the crowd as he readies for battle.] MC: And his opponent...coming to the ring ... [The ominous tone of "Anonymous Skulls" by Martin, Medeski, and Wood cranks out from the arena loudspeakers.] MC: ... from parts unknown ... weighing in at 345 pounds ... here is... THE SKULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! [The aisle curtain parts as the masked monolith enters the arena to a chorus of boos. THE SKULL, garbed in his typical ring apparel: his signature black mask with white skull emblem, full black singlet, black ring boots, and padded gloves, triumphantly raises a fist into the air, drawing another round of jeers from the crowd. With a scowl, The Skull begins working his way towards ringside, ignoring the outstretched hands of the fans.] JD: Good...god. This man is enormous! What a beast this guy is... where the hell did we find him? And I bet Simon Moore is really wishing we'd stuck with the original plan of teaming them together. [Inside the ring, The Skull lumbers to the second turnbuckle, climbs it, and begins jawjacking with the fans. As the music fades, The Skull remains atop the turnbuckle, glaring and pointing at the fans before bounding down and preparing for action.] JD: And referee Patrick Rodrig- [The crowd rumbles to life as the Skull stampedes across the ring, catching a stunned Simon Moore with an avalanche in the corner!] JD: OHHHH SWEEEEET JEEEEEESUS! [Moore staggers out, barely conscious... right into a huge elbowsmash to the forehead that levels him.] JD: Moore's down and when you've got a three hundred and fifty pounder in there with you, that's not a good place to be. [The Skull slowly raises his arm... then leaps into the air, bringing a massive elbow _slamming_ down into the chest of the prone Simon Moore.] JD: He could pin him right here, fans... but the Skull is sending a message here tonight, I think. He's climbing back to his feet... and dragging Moore up by the hair. [The Skull hooks Moore in a side waistlock, hoisting him up... ...and _obliterating_ him with a backdrop driver!] JD: BACKDROP DRIIIIIIVAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! [Crawling to his feet, the Skull looks down at a motionless Simon Moore, planting a boot down on his chest.] JD: One. Two. Three. That's it, fans. [DING DING DING] JD: The Skull is your winner in impressive fashion... but he gained no fans here tonight. The Skull climbs to his feet... pointing to his waist. He's made it no secret that he's in PWR for gold. And if I'm anyone in this company carrying gold... yes, that's you Mr. Dufresne... I'm considering taking out some more insurance. [The massive Skull stands on the midbuckle, doing the "I want the belt" gesture.] JD: We've all heard rumors of a tag team title being created. I think this guy could be his _own_ tag team. What a monster! [As the fans continue to boo, the Skull steps through the ropes and makes his exit from the ring, walking back through the curtain as Melissa Cannon retakes her spot in the ring.] JD: Looks like we're gonna keep on going. Let's go back to Melissa and see what's next. [Cut to the ring.] MC: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a ten minute time limit. [Goldfinger's cover of the Duran Duran epic hit "Rio" blasts over the PA system and the crowd rises to its' feet, eyes on the curtain that covers the entryway.] JD: It's time to get Classy! [The curtain parts and Kendrick Lane makes his first appearance in Pro Wrestling Revolution in several months. It's been a long time since we've last seen Kendrick Lane. Kendrick still wears his standard red wrestling trunks, with red and black kneepads and elbowpads, along with shoot fighter-esque gloves on each hand. Kendrick Lane ignores the jeering fans as he rolls under the bottom rope into the ring, popping to his feet and... well, sexually harassing Melissa Cannon before settling into the corner to wait for his opponent.] JD: Kendrick Lane has been on a tear here in the Revolution so far. He's taken opponent after opponent down... submitted them... and ultimately ran them out of PWR. Tony Cameron and Johnny Malibu have both felt their legs rip and tear at his hands... and tonight, Kazuo Ishiguro may do the same. [As Lane tugs on the ropes, the extremely irritating Hamster Dance plays over the PA system to a surprisingly positive reaction from the crowd.] JD: GUINEA PIG TIME! [The crowd erupts as the "Human Guinea Pig" jumps out of the backstage area. Hopping around to the high pitched squeals of the song, Kazuo Ishiguro slowly makes his way down the aisle. The camera pans over to many small children who happily sport their guinea pig mantels in support of their masked hero. Kazuo happily high fives many fans on his way to the ringside area, even going so far as hugging some of the children.] JD: The mascot of Pro Wrestling Revolution. Kendrick Lane looks pretty annoyed but these fans really love Ishiguro. He's won the hearts of many young fans here in PWR and it's always a highlight when he comes to the ring. [Some audience members present their pet hamsters and guinea pigs that fans for blessings, petting the frightened animals, Kazuo starts to ascend the steel steps. Sliding through the ropes, Ishiguro climbs up one of the turnbuckles, and strikes a pose... ...and before Melissa can make the introductions, Kendrick Lane charges across the ring and upends Ishiguro, dumping him off the top rope and sending him crashing down to the carpeted floor below!] JD: OHHHHH! Down goes Ishiguro! [A scattering of young fans race to Ishiguro's aid, trying to comfort their wounded hero as an arrogant Kendrick Lane drops to the canvas, rolling under the ropes to the floor.] JD: Ishiguro's down on the floor... someone get those kids out of the way. Referee Steve Stevens has rang the bell. I guess this match has started but this isn't right, fans. Kazuo Ishiguro did nothing to Kendrick Lane to merit that kind of assault. Lane was said to be very upset that he was being brought in tonight to face Ishiguro. I mean... granted, Ishiguro isn't in the Contender's Ring, but there's no need for- [A hard boot to the mask of Ishiguro breaks Dane's train of thought as Kendrick Lane stomps Ishiguro repeatedly on the carpet.] JD: Lane dragging Ishiguro off the floor... what's he-?! OHHHH! He throws him maskfirst into the steel ringpost! That padded mask will help some... but you know that had to do some damage. [Lane shoves Ishiguro through the ropes into the ring, rolling in behind him to climb back to his feet.] JD: Lane... oh give me a break! He's slapping around Ishiguro! This guy is crossing the line, fans. [The big man formerly from Grand Isle reaches down to hook Ishiguro around the midsection, hoisting him into the air, spinning... ...and _dropping_ Ishiguro down on his head and neck!] JD: Karelin lift?! Kendrick Lane taking a page out of the amateur wrestling world and dumping Kazuo Ishiguro on his damned skull. Lane's right on top of him, pummeling his head and neck with right hands. [Lane drags the masked man off the canvas, firing him into the ropes... and sprinting across with a big shoulderblock to the midsection. He holds his position, driving the shoulder into the ribs repeatedly... ...then pulling Ishiguro into a standing headscissors.] JD: What the-?! NOOOOO! [Lane hoists Ishiguro off the canvas... ...and _powerbombs_ him into the turnbuckles!] JD: Did you see his head and neck _snap_ forward?! Some serious whiplash right there. My god. We've got Ishiguro barely moving on the mat. [But Lane shows no mercy, quickly tying up the leg in an Indian deathlock... ...and falls backwards, ripping and tearing at the knee of Kazuo Ishiguro who quickly taps out.] JD: That's it! [DING DING DING] JD: Kendrick Lane claims another victory by submission. Kazuo Ishiguro tapped out right away. He knows he was in big trouble... he knows that- [Lane quickly breaks the hold, shoving away the referee and dragging Ishiguro under the ropes to the floor.] JD: What the hell is this?! [The Classy One hoists Ishiguro off the canvas, draping him over his shoulder... ...and _ramming_ him skullfirst into the steel ringpost!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: No, dammit! Somebody stop this guy! Somebody needs to stop- [And he charges in again, spiking Ishiguro skullfirst to the post.] JD: Son of a- what the hell did Ishiguro do to you, Lane?! Nothing! He's just trying to have fun! Trying to entertain the fans... these kids... and you do this?! You son of a- [Lane pulls Ishiguro up by the hair, revealing a deep crimson stain coming through the mask.] JD: He busted Ishiguro open! That sick of a bitch split open Kazuo Ishiguro! And now he's... no! He's ripping and tearing the mask of Ishiguro! Look at the blood! There's blood pouring from the skull of Kazuo Ishiguro and- [The Classy One throws Ishiguro aside, leaving the bloodied competitor on the carpet and walks towards a frightened Melissa Cannon, grabbing the mic from her.] KL: This is it?! [The fans boo wildly.] KL: I drive halfway across the country because Michaelson tells me I can be part of the "biggest indy promotion in the world"... and I get to fight a fucking Muppet?! [More wild jeers. An empty water bottle bounces off Lane's chest and he turns towards the guy who threw it.] KL: I've left bodies behind me every time I've come out here. Tony Cameron... Johnny Malibu... and now this freak. And now, I want more. I want a real opponent. I want a challenge. I want a reason to come out to Southern California next month. [Lane turns his attention to Jason Dane who is trying to get the mic away from him. The Classy One grabs Dane by the shirt, pushing him back against the wall.] KL: You tell Michaelson that if he wants me out here next month in Hollywood... he'd better make it worth my while. [And with that, he throws Jason Dane aside and strides out the front door of the building, leaving a stunned Santa Ana Elks Lodge crowd behind. Jason Dane tries to compose himself, trying to get back under control as we fade to black for intermission.] *********** [We fade back in from black to the locker room area where El Hijo Del Diablo is standing with Jason Dane with the words "Taped Earlier Today" under them .] JD: El Hijo Del Diablo... welcome back. [The masked man beams from behind his mask, clasping a hand on the back of Dane's neck.] EHDD: Gracias, mi amigo. It's good to be here. I know a lot of the fans may have issues with me for leaving PWR for SouthWest Lucha Libre... and that's not something I can argue. I did business the wrong way... but at the time, it was something I did for me. I wasn't mature enough to be able to handle being Juvenil Infierno's student. I worshipped Juvy for so long... and then we had his fall from grace, my respect for him fell with it. [Diablo looks down.] EHDD: I wasn't able to realize that if Infierno wasn't a great man, he would never have made it to the top to begin with. I have met with Juvenil on several occasions since our PWR match... and we have reached a peace. That's why I was proud to come to his aid last week in Mexico. And that's why I'm proud to be here today... back in Pro Wrestling Revolution... back in the company that gave me the chance to be a professional wrestler. It was M-DOJO and PWR who gave me my break... who gave me the chance to go to SouthWest Lucha Libre and wrestle for my people... in front of my people. [The masked man pumps an arm in excitement.] EHDD: It was M-DOJO and the Revolution that allowed me to go to NEO Pro and showcase my talents in front of the world in The Sky's The Limit. And it was M-DOJO and the Revolution that allowed me to wrestle in the J*STAR Crown tournament at the biggest event of my life a month or so ago. [Diablo grins again, nodding his head at Jason Dane.] EHDD: So, yes, Jason... it is indeed my honor to be back here in PWR to compete here tonight in the Captain's Fall match. It is my honor to stand with men like Jaiden Andrews and Travis Cade... my J*STAR companeros. With City Jack and Matthew Judas... men of noble heart and fighting spirit. It is my honor to be here to stand with them... and to compete for you. [Dane takes the mic again.] JD: You spoke of Juvenil Infierno. He's scheduled to compete against a mystery opponent here tonight... and many rumors had you in that slot. Any chance of that? [Diablo shakes his head.] EHDD: None, my friend. But if Juvenil needs someone to watch his back, I _will_ be there for that. Hermanos de Lucha Libre! JD: Thanks for your time.. and good luck tonight. [And with that, we fade back to ringside where Meliccas Cannon is standing, ready to go to work.] MC: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit. It is a part of our "Pick your Rival's Opponent" series. Introducing first... ["King of Transexualvania" by Kyohei Yamada starts up to a massive heel pop from the people of the Revolution. The curtain parts...] JD: What the fuck? [And the jeers somehow grow louder as Takuya Nobu strides through the curtain in his normal ring attire... ...except for a tattered Juvenil Infierno mask covering his head.] JD: That son of a bitch. [Nobu waves his arms around, mimicking Infierno as he attempts to slap hands with everyone in sight... ...all who avoid him.] MC: He hails from Kanazawa City, Ishikawa, Japan... standing 5'8 and weighing in at 162 pounds... TAKUUUUUYAAAA NOOOOOOBUUUUUUUU!!! [Nobu charges down the aisle, quickly scaling the turnbuckles where he whips out a lighter... ...and flicks it on, igniting a little flame before hopping down into the ring.] JD: This guy thinks he's real damn funny, doesn't he? Nobu's dressed up as Juvenil Infierno here on Halloween night, leaning in the corner now. This is probably the only chance at levity he'll get considering he's gotta face his former friend, former partner, and one of the greatest Junior Heavyweights in the world in TORA Wanizame in just moments. I hope he's enjoying himself now because in just a few minutes, he won't be. [Melissa Cannon shakes her head as Nobu climbs to the middle rope, trying to get the fans to cheer for "Infierno".] MC: And his opponent... he hails from Oita, Japan... standing 5'10 and weighing in at 215 pounds... he is a former Pacific Champion... TORRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAANIZAAAAAAAAAAMEEEEE!!! [As "Tora Tora Tora" by MAX starts up over the PA, the crowd rises to their feet to pay tribute to the cruiserweight legend. The fans roar for Wanizame, thrilled he has returned to Pro Wrestling Revolution... and even more thrilled that he's going to do battle with his former friend on his return.] JD: Welcome back! Welcome back, TORA Waniza- what the fuck?! [The roaring crowd falls to a quiet buzz as Wanizame bursts through the curtain looking like something out of a horror movie. He's wearing something that looks like a cross between a mummy Halloween costume and a zombie one. What appears to be decaying flesh hangs from the badly frayed bandages wrapped around his arms and legs.] JD: I don't get it. Did everyone decide to play dress-up for Halloween and I missed something? [Wanizame pauses at the entryway, looking around at the booing crowd... and then points to his head in a "Oops, almost forgot" gesture and reaches back through the curtain to pull out... ... a replica mask of the one that was once worn by Volatil Pesadilla, the deceased father of Juvenil Infierno.] JD: Oh my god. [From the few on hand who realize what the hell is going on, there is nothing but hateful boos. They realize what has happened. They know what Takuya Nobu has just conspired to do with his still friend TORA Wanizame.] JD: This was a setup, dammit. This was nothing but a damn setup! TORA Wanizame and Takuya Nobu screwed us all! This was nothing but a setup to humiliate and hurt Juvenil Infierno some more! [Wanizame does a zombie stagger down the aisle before rolling under the ropes into the ring... ...where Takuya Nobu waves for referee Patrick Rodriguez to ring the bell to start the match.] JD: There's the bell! Are we still going to have a match with these two? [Nobu charges across the ring... ...and promptly misses a dropkick by about five feet.] JD: TORA moves out of the- wait... no he didn't. Nobu just missed it. What the hell was that? [Wanizame zombie walks to the ropes, "charging" towards a motionless Nobu on the canvas and... ...well, just kinda falling backwards onto Nobu.] JD: I suppose that's supposed to be a senton. I can't believe this. These two have screwed us... they screwed the fans... they screwed everyone. TORA Wanizame was in on this all along. He lied to Infierno... he lied to Michaelson. This is sick. [TORA slowly gets to his feet, grabbing the ropes to "suck wind". Nobu "attempts" to kip up... but falls on his ass. He tries again.. and again falls down. A few fans start to chuckle at the comedy of it.] JD: This is terrible. I appreciate the value of comedy in wrestling... but this just isn't right. This isn't right at all. They're insulting the honor of Juvenil Infierno and they're disgracing the legacy of his dead father! [With Nobu "trying" to get up, Wanizame runs towards him... and steps on his stomach with a little hope as Nobu flops around like a dead flsh.] JD: A double stomp by Wanizame... good lord, am I actually trying to call this? [Wanizame pulls Nobu off the mat, setting up for a bodyslam... ...and straining and struggling and fighting. Wanizame finally lets go, grabbing at his chest.] JD: This is sickening. [Nobu leaps up, hooking Wanizame in a rana... ...and promptly getting his own head slammed into the canvas. Wanizame thrusts an arm in the head in triumph... then clutches his chest... ...then collapses on top of Nobu where the referee has no choice but to make a count.] JD: One. Two. Three. Thank god that's over. [DING DING DING] JD: The fans are booing wildly. I can't blame them. They came here expecting to see TORA Wanizame and Takuya Nobu tear the house down... and honestly, so did we. But we were both let down apparently by the sick sense of hunor from these two bastards. I don't... fans, I apologize for this. This isn't what we wanted to see... this isn't what we expected to see... and to be honest, this isn't what we want Pro Wrestling Revolution to be about. This is total disrespect... a complete lack of honor and dignity on display from Takuya Nobu and TORA Wanizame. I'm... well, fans... I'm kinda at a loss. [As the crowd boos loudly and hurls trash at Nobu and Wanizame, Nobu calls for a microphone. As one is tossed to him, he peels his mask off, grinning broadly.] Nobu: Good costume, huh? [Nobu and TORA both double over with laughter as a fresh chorus of raucous jeering erupts among the fans.] Nobu: I mean, I knew the guy was bad, but who would have thought wearing his mask would make me bad, too? [Nobu, still laughing heartily, shakes off the continued boos from the fans.] Nobu: Although I guess it doesn't help when your opponent is a dead guy who wasn't worth a shit when he was alive. [TORA lumbers around a bit like a zombie, as the boos pick up yet again in intensity. Suddenly, though, the boos turn to loud cheers as Juvenil Infierno appears in the entryway. His hands are on his hips, and he's clutching a microphone.] Juvy: NOBU!!!! I've had enough of this. Every week, you have something to say about me, about my family, about my fans. Well, it stops here! You want me, Nobu? You got me! Right here, right now, let's settle this. I'm getting tired of waiting! [Nobu, whose broad grin dropped off at the appearance of Infierno, begins smiling again, from ear to ear.] Nobu: Juvy, Juvy, Juvy. I know you're a Mexican, but are you really that stupid? Did you really forget that you've already signed a contract? Mystery partner, tons of drama, all that? [Juvy, who looked ready to storm the ring, now looks slightly less confident, clearly wondering who it is he's going to have to face.] Nobu: That's what I thought. I've been waiting for this, Juvy. Waiting for weeks. You thought you were so smart, making me face my Kamisama... [Nobu jerks his thumb at TORA, who lumbers a bit more for good measure.] Nobu: ... but, yet again, Juvy, I win. [Nobu snaps.] Nobu: Damn it, I wish I'd brought my camera. This is the kind of moment a man likes to have a record of. And after all, they do say that a picture is worth a thousand words. [Nobu puts his finger to his lips girlishly.] Nobu: Silly me. Did I say a thousand words? I meant a Billion Dollars. ["Ecstasy of Gold" fires up over the P.A. to a massive shocked pop as the man himself, Todd Michaelson, steps through the back in full ring gear to a huge shocked pop.] JD: WHAT?! WHAT?! Todd Michaelson is the mystery opponent?! [Infierno turns to face the man he once proudly called his friend, looking on with surprise. Michaelson locks eyes with Infierno... then produces a house mic of his own.] TM: A couple weeks ago, Takuya called me... and told me that the wording in the contract said he could pick _anyone_ that Pro Wrestling Revolution was able to book for this night to be your opponent. And he noted that if I was going to be in the building... that I very obviously could be booked to be your opponent. To be honest, I wasn't real sure how I felt about that. On one hand, we're friends... we're business associates. I can think of a lot of things I'd rather do at a wrestling show than climb in the ring with you. [A few cheers go up. Michaelson looks around at the crowd.] TM: On the other hand, I remember a little too well that right hand you cracked me with a few weeks back. [The crowd "ooooooohs" as Michaelson gets a few feet away from Infierno now.] TM: I came here tonight with the intent of climbing in that ring and giving you the fight of your life, Juvy. [The crowd buzzes with anticipation of the two M-DOJO trainers from Day One going at it.] TM: But what I just saw changed all that. [A huge pop goes up as Nobu looks stunned.] TM: I don't fly people in from Japan to fuck around and put on comedy matches in front of our fans, Nobu. I don't give a shit if he gave us a "friendly" discount or not. [Pop!] TM: These people paid hard earned money to see TORA Wanizame wrestle. And since he's pulled this shit, I'd say this is probably the last chance they're going to get. So, I'll make you a deal, Nobu. Since you organized this little stunt. [Nobu looks nervous as the crowd grows louder and louder.] TM: You two stay where you are. Juvy and I are gonna climb in there with you. And you two are gonna fight us like your lives depend on it. [Pop!] TM: And as much fire is in the eyes of this man right here, I'd say they probably do. [Huge pop! Nobu shakes his head, waving Michaelson off.] TM: No? Well, allow me to retort. You fight... ...or you flee. You either climb in here with the two of us right now or I'll do my damndest to make sure you _never_ set foot in a wrestling ring in North America again. I'll use every contact I've made in the past ten years to make sure you don't wrestle in St. Louis... in Canada... in Mexico... anywhere! [Nobu looks a little concerned now, trading words with Wanizame.] TM: That means no match with Juvy next month. That means no big American paydays. That means no royalties from the DVD sales of any PWR show. I'll break you, you son of a bitch... and leave nothing left. [Huge pop! Infierno nods his head now, tugging on his boot laces to get ready for battle.] TM: So, Nobu? What's it going to- [But before Michaelson can finish his sentence, Nobu and Wanizame sprint across the ring in unison, hurling themselves between the top and middle ropes to take down Michaelson and Infierno with stereo tope dives! Massive pop!] "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" [Nobu and Wanizame pummel Michaelson and Infierno respectively for a bit before tossing Infierno aside and dragging Michaelson to the ring, rolling him under the bottom rope.] JD: The referee calls for the bell again... and we've got ourselves an impromptu tag team match! Juvenil Infierno and Todd Michaelson going to battle with TORA Wanizame and Takuya Nobu! Nobu rolls back in... he's not too happy about Michaelson bullying him into this match. [Nobu stomps and kicks Michaelson, knocking him back to the corner where Wanizame wraps a forearm under his throat, choking the Pro Wrestling Revolution owner while Nobu peppers him with chops and kicks.] JD: The duo who once was known as Zokugun Sangai are doing a number on Todd Michaelson in the corner. Juvenil Infierno drags himself up on the ring apron. We've got ourselves a tag team match. [Nobu drags Michaelson out of the corner, snapmaring him down to the canvas and charging to the far ropes... rebounding back... ...and _creaming_ Michaelson with a seated dropkick to the face!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: What a shot! Takuya Nobu is gonna try and take out his anger on Michaelson tonight. Todd Michaelson threatened his very livelihood if he didn't take this match and he wants to make Michaelson pay for that. [Reaching down, Nobu pulls Michaelson up by his blond ponytail and shoves him back into the ropes.] JD: Michaelson backed into the ropes... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: Oh my! Big chop by Nobu! [Switching his footing, Nobu goes with an overhand slap to the chest of his employer.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" JD: Good lord! A big red welt being left behind from that chop. These guys aren't messing around out there. Nobu figures the worst Todd can do is fire him and if he doesn't take it to him, he risks that anyways. [Nobu reaches over to slap the hand of Wanizame to bring him into the match.] JD: Both men in... double irish whip... [And as Michaelson rebounds, they both bury a boot in his gut before moving to attempt a double hiptoss.] JD: Double hipto- huh? [But before executing the move, Nobu and Wanizame drive their knees up into the skull of Michaelson repeatedly for a few moments before tossing him down to the mat.] JD: Nice doubleteam by Wanizame and Nobu... and TORA makes a cover! [Wanizame only scores a two count though as Michaelson fires his shoulder up off the canvas.] JD: Only a two... and TORA immediately pulls Michaelson off the mat, shoving him facefirst into the corner. TORA moves right in... ohh! Kick to the kidneys! [Stepping back, Wanizame continues the assault on the back of the PWR owner.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [The crowd groans with sympathy for Michaelson as his back is lit up by a cruiserweight legend.] JD: Wanizame is a former EMWC World Tag Team Champion so he does know what he's doing in there... especially in a tag team matchup. He and Nobu know each other very well so they're likely to be an excellent team in there. They'd be a great team to see in a tag team tournament, I bet. [A leaping back kick to the kidneys leaves Michaelson hanging onto the top rope, trying to stay on his feet as Wanizame makes the exchange with Nobu.] JD: Nobu back in. Quick tags by the Japanese duo to stay fresh in there. Double front facelock applied... and a big double snap suplex! Nobu with another cover... and another two count. Michaelson is in trouble though and needs to look towards making the exchange with Infierno. Nobu, the M-DOJO guest trainer... although I don't know if he'll hold the role after what we've seen here tonight... he pulls Michaelson off the mat again. [Reaching under and over, he hooks Michaelson for an Exploder.] JD: EXPLOD- [Michaelson fires back, driving his elbow into the ear of Nobu... twice... three times... four times. Suddenly free, Michaelson dives towards his corner... ...but Nobu scissors his ankle, keeping him from making the tag.] JD: Nice move by Nobu to prevent the tag. [And Wanizame charges into the ring, leaping into the air to drop his weight down on the back of Michaelson with a somersault senton.] JD: Ohhh! That's one way to prevent a tag! [An irate Infierno charges into the ring but referee Rodriguez blocks his path, forcing him out of the ring.] JD: Come on, referee! Stay on top of this! [While Infierno inadvertently distracts the official, Wanizame continues to drop rapid-fire sentons across the kidneys of Michaelson.] JD: Give me a break, referee! This is outrageous! [The referee finally pushes the luchador out of the ring and turns to find Takuya Nobu back on his feet, pulling an injured Michaelson up by the hair and making the exchange with Wanizame.] JD: TORA tags back in... Nobu holds the arms... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Oof! Big chop to the throat by TORA! [Nobu releases the arms, allowing Michaelson to fall to the canvas, clutching his windpipe.] JD: That chop was in the throat, ref. Keep your eyes open for that! [Wanizame drags Michaelson off the canvas, slapping him across the face before shoving him back into the ring ropes.] JD: Disrespect! These fans are getting all over Wanizame! He drags Todd off the ropes... into a standing headscissors... [With Michaelson set up, Wanizame double underhooks the arms of his opponent and with a wicked grin, he hoists Michaelson off the canvas... ...and sits out into a powerbomb! The crowd erupts into jeers, recognizing the insult that Wanizame just executed.] JD: Oh my! Wanizame uses Michaelson's own Billion Dollar Bomb against him! And he doesn't even attempt a cover... that was just a slap in the face.to Michaelson. [With the PWR Owner down on the mat, Wanizame makes the tag to Nobu who immediately scales the turnbuckles.] JD: HEADBUTT! [The crowd gives a mixed response as Nobu's skull slams down into the chest of Michaelson and then throws an arm over him for a pin attempt.] JD: ONE!! æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ TWO!! æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ TH= [Michaelson fires a shoulder off the canvas to break the pin attempt.] JD: The boss slips a shoulder up... and Takuya Nobu is immediately back to his feet, pulling Todd up as well and dragging him back to the corner. [Nobu sits up on the top buckle, pulling Michaelson into a front facelock.] JD: He's going for a tornado DDT! If he hits this, it may be all over! He's going for- [The M-DOJO guest trainer kicks off the ropes, looking to spike Michaelson headfirst into the canvas... but Michaelson avoid the DDT, holding his ground... ...and _hurling_ Nobu over his head into the turnbuckles with a released Northern Lights Suplex! Massive pop!] JD: WHAT A COUNTER!! HE THREW NOBU TO THE CORNER!! And Michaelson _needs_ to make the tag... he desperately needs to get to his partner! [The crowd begins to grow louder and louder as Michaelson crawls across the ring towards Infierno's waiting hand... stretching... reaching... ...and finally, slapping.] JD: TAG!! [The crowd _explodes_ into cheers as Infierno sprints into the ring, drilling the just-tagged-in Wanizame with a forearm that knocks him back towards the ropes.] JD: Wanizame gets staggered and- [Pop!] JD: Infierno dropkicks him to the floor! [The legendary luchador races to the far ropes as Wanizame starts to stir on the floor... ...and _hurls_ himself over the top rope, crashing down onto a stunned Wanizame!] JD: OHHHHHH MY!!! Infierno took him out! Juvenil Infierno takes down Wanizame... and he's beating the hell out of him on the floor! [Inside the ring, Michaelson staggers back to his feet, pulling Nobu off the canvas... and yanking him into a standing headscissors of his own.] JD: He's going for it! Todd's gonna finish him off! [But before he can hoist Nobu into the air, the Japanese native drops to the canvas and drives his arm up into the groin of his employer!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: LOW BLOW!! LOW BLOW!! [DING DING DING] JD: Damn him! Nobu _still_ found a way to get out of giving these fans the match they deserved! He found a way to avoid Infierno.. and he found a way to screw us all! [As Michaelson slumps to the canvas, Takuya Nobu stomps and kicks him in the head and chest, forcing him under the ropes and outside to the floor. Nobu spits on the fallen PWR Owner, raising a triumphant arm high into the air... ...failing to notice Juvenil Infierno climbing onto the apron behind him.] JD: JUVY! GET HIM, JUVY! [And as Nobu slowly turns around, Infierno leaps to the top rope, springing off... ...and _drilling_ Nobu in the face with a dropkick that knocks Nobu flat! Huge pop!] JD: INFIERNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Juvy took him down! That egotistical jackass just got levelled by Juvenil Infierno and... oh my, Juvy's not done! Juvy's not done! [Infierno drags Nobu off the canvas, gutwrenching him up into tombstone piledriver position... ...and _spikes_ him on his skull! Massive pop!] JD: TOMBSTONE!!! JUVY WITH THE TOMBSTONE ON NOBU!!! If we were in Mexico, Infierno would be arrested for attempted murder! But dammit, we're in Santa Ana and these people are on their feet! [Nobu's cohort in crime, TORA Wanizame, reaches under the ropes to pull Nobu to relative safety. He has to lift Nobu up over his shoulder to help him back down the aisle as Juvy demands a microphone from the ringside attendant, who hands it to him without hesitation.æ He then steps up to the ropes, pointing down at Nobu as he speaks.] æ Juvy:æææ "God damn you, Nobu!æ You thought you could get me again, didn't you!? Not this time!æ Not again!" æ [Juvy grins maniacally and shakes his head.] æ Juvy:æææ "I'll tell you what, Nobu ... there's been talk of adding a stipulation to our match ... well, I've got one for you!æ You want to ruin my life so badly?æ You want to take everything from me?!æ You want my mask!?æ Well, how about you put your money where your mouth is ... because it's going to be Juvenil Infierno ... vs. Takuya Nobu ..." æ [He pauses, backing away from the ropes just a little as he nods his head.] æ Juvy:æææ "MASK vs. HAIR!" æ [Juvy laughs as he says this and Nobu ... actually looks pleased as well.æ Juvy moves back to the ropes with that grin upon his face, shaking his finger at Nobu.] æ Juvy:æææ "This time, _I_ will be the one to embarrass _you!_æ _I_ will be the one to end this ... and I'll do it by shaving off that _stupid_ blue hair of yours!" æ [Juvy then slams the microphone against the mat with an audible thud that echoes throughout the arena as both men look at each other with hatred in their eyes... and Wanizame aids Nobu in getting through the curtain and out of sight.] JD: Are you kidding me?! Infierno's going to put his mask on the line against Takuya Nobu next month in Hollywood?! Nobu's infamous blue hair on the line as well... but to a luchador... to Juvenil Infierno... their mask is _everything_. This is basically Juvenil Infierno putting his _identity_... his very being on the line. My god... what a war that's going to be in Hollywood next month, fans. [With Infierno helping Michaelson off the carpet, we cut back to the locker room area. We zoom in on the front of a t-shirt. SO CAL STRONG STYLE] TC: So Cal Strong Style. [Ladies and gentlemen, Travis Cade. The former collegiate wrestling champion and Olympic hopeful stands in front of a rather generic PWR banner.] TC: The belief in the truest, purest form of this sport. The belief in competition. The belief in spirit. The belief in the pursuit if excellence. THAT is So Cal Strong Style. THAT is what we believe in. [He points a thumb to the shirt.] TC: Pure X isn't the only wrestler in PWR. All he is, is a close minded man. He isn't So Cal Strong Style. He's a circus act. He's the guy standing up on the old platform while some guy in a top hat and fancy colored jacket barks out, "Come face the champion! All challengers welcome! Test your might!" [Cade smiles.] TC: The way I see it is simple. A carny act in this hand... [He lifts up one, pantomiming a scale.] TC: And a real fighter in this hand... [The same with the other.] TC: And you have one heck of an out of balance competition. [He thumbs the shirt again.] TC: It's men like me. It's men like Jaiden Andrews and Ben Waterson. It's men like Juvenil Infierno and men like the students of the M-Dojo. It's men willing to open their minds completely to focus on the truth. So Cal Strong Style. [He stands proud.] TC: It isn't just a shirt. Trust me, it isn't just a shirt. [Defiant fist raised pose... and fade back to ringside where Melissa Cannon is standing.] MC: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for our MAIN EVENT of the evening! [DEAFENING POP!] MC: It is to be conducted under Cap- [Melissa's words are suddenly cut off as a small scuffle breaks out at ringside between PWR security, and a small figure dressed in khaki cargo pants, and an obnoxiously loud orange and black Hawaiian shirt. As security grabs him by the back of his collar, he dives under the bottom rope and into the squared circle, rising, face to face with Ms. Cannon. Not quite sure how to react, Cannon looks around for some sort of instructions as the man digs into his pocket and pulls out an orange and black mask, holding it up with one hand for her to see. As her eyes follow the mask, he lashes out and swipes the microphone and quickly backs away towards the ropes.] Man: "Um ... sorry Melissa. It'll only take a minute. Todd, are you back there? Todd? Can you hear me? I've been calling you. I've been leaving messages on your voice mail. Been sending letters to the PO Box, and you ain't called me back. I just want a forum to explain myself Todd. Just a chance to tell all these people that I'm not the disloyal fucktard that they all think I am. Todd? It's me .. Cabana Boy X." [Propping the microphone underneath his arm, Cabana Boy X, slips his head into the mask, adjusting his dyed blonde locks so that they flow through the opening in the top of the hood.] cbX: "This is no disrespect to the boys in the back. Because this ring right here is their stage. It's a place where they can come out here and entertain the masses all over Southern California. It's their playground. And it's something that I threw away all to quickly. Ya see, when I got the call a few months back to come in and work for Pro Wrestling Revolution, I was ecstatic to say the very least. I mean, this was an opportunity that guys all over the independent wrestling scene were aching for. For an opportunity to be part of one of the hottest upstart promotions in quite some time. In a matter of minutes I started planning out how I was going to soar to the top of this company. How I was going to have my own legion of fans that sat right over there ..." [Approaching the ropes, cbX points to a small section at ringside and nods his head.] cbX: "Fans who laid out their hard earned money to see me apply my trade between these ropes. I was going to be hot shit. Selling t-shirts, and getting booked from one side of this country to the next. Problem was, I let absolutely everybody within earshot know it. Guys on the production crew. Boys in the locker room. And apparently, my eagerness, dreams, and ambition got misinterpreted as arrogance .. and quickly I started to hear jaws flapping about me being some sort of disrespectful little prick - and that's the last thing I wanted. Cause I ain't like that. I got heart. I got passion. And I have a deep seated admiration for each and every boy that laces up their boots back there month after month. But that wasn't my initial reaction." [Shaking his head for the negative, Cabana Boy X runs his fingers back through his golden locks.] cbX: "Nope. My reaction basically was that if you aren't going to show me any respect. Then ya'll can go right to hell. You don't want me around here? Then I don't need you. So at International Incident, I came marching into the office in the back and told them that I needed to be elsewhere. That I just didn't have the time, or the money to fly myself to Cali each month. And basically I gave in to every single person back there that didn't want to see me succeed because of my piss ass attitude. When the going got tough, I turned tail and I ran. They don't want to respect me? Fuck'em. That was what I was going to live by. And then I sat home, no bookings, just watching TV, playing video games, and the mind started to work. Afterall, why should I have the respect of the boys in the locker room? What have I done? Who have I beaten? What reason did they have to know me from Adam, and on top of that to give a shit about me? They didn't have any reason. I realize that now. And to every guy that heard me trash talking. Every guy that felt I was waaay too big for my britches. I apologize." [His attention turned towards the aisle, cbX watches for some sort of acknowledgement. Some signal that somebody in the back is listening. But none comes.] cbX: "I know it may be too late. But all I can do is ask. Todd. If you hear this, how about one more chance? One more opportunity to come out here and to actually _earn_ the respect of my peers rather than demand it. I may not be the next Jaiden Andrews or Pure X. But I can guarantee you that I will be the only Cabana Boy X you've ever seen. So what do you say Todd? One more ch- [Suddenly, the aggressive strains of Armored Saint's "Symbol of Salvation" spews forth from the speaker system, emphatically quashing Cabana Boy's pleas for re-instatement. Hard on the heels of the seething entrance music, two figures, one male, one female, then move into view and effortlessly glide down the aisle. Leading the way, is 'he'; a clean-shaven youngster in his late teens, with blonde-tipped brown hair and an expression of distaste etched upon his face that is every bit as black as the wrestling trunks and boots that he wears ... And behind this brass-topped cane wielding familiar stranger, 'she' follows; a curvaceous, exquisitely tanned brunette, clad in a figure hugging business suit and carrying an almost obligatory 'clipboard/notepad' ensemble. Leaving both his cane and his lovely assistant at the ring apron, the newcomer now recognised as Lord William Whitecross slides himself under the bottom rope and approaches his fellow ring dweller. Within the blink of an eye, Whitecross is almost nose to nose with cbX, before ripping the microphone from his grasp and taking a few steps back. William's expression of high brow distaste is still clear for all to see, which makes his first words all the more condescending.] LWW: Oh ... my heart ... bleeds for you, my friend ... I mean, here you are, stood centre stage with all eyes upon you and all you can think of to say is "sorry for allowing my misconstrued 'ego vibe' to highlight my non-existent wrestling ability"? ... Because you see, that in itself is pathetic enough, never mind having to witness you cement your obviously inherent stupidity by grovelling to Mr. Michaelson; pleading teary-eyed on bended knees to have him take you back ... Ugh, it makes me sick ... [For his part, cbX takes a half step forward. His fists are clenched, as he looks to the fans at ringside for approval to launch an attack. However, Whitecross is seemingly oblivious to the threat, even despite the fact that William's gaze has not wavered from X's since stepping into the fray.] LWW: You see, Cabana Boy, it's this simple - you do _not_, nor will you _ever_ have anywhere near the ability to be given a second chance. Hell, most of the Revolution roster don't deserve to be lacing up their boots here either ... But you ... you _are_ the epitome of barrel-scraping. You have 'never-will-be' spray painted all over your garish mask, and no amount of posturing and begging is going to change that truth. [Despite the crowd's obvious dislike of Cabana Boy X disrupting their night, they start to get on William Whitecross' case for his verbal abuse of both cbX as well as the rest of the PWR locker room.] LWW: _I_ however, am the pure essence of wrestling perfection. _I_ have a pedigree that was gifted to me by my esteemed family line. Success is second nature to me, whilst the only thing second nature to you is unblocking lavatories and lying to yourself about your usefulness on this Earth. You are nothing. Y- [cbX has heard enough. A blind fury possessing him, Cabana Boy sprints toward his detractor with violence on his mind. Unfortunately for him, a forcibly thrown microphone hits him square on the nose, putting Whitecross on the offensive. A big European Uppercut duly serves as a precursor to a lightning fast, snappy Side Russian Legsweep ... and before you know it, Lord William is to a vertical base and daring his compromised opponent to stand.] JD: Fans, I apologize for this. Neither Cabana Boy X nor Lord William Whitecross were expected to be here tonight. Neither of them were- oh come on, Whitecross! This kid is obviously outgunned here tonight and- [Operating on instinct, cbX rises, but immediately finds himself tightly ensnared in a Cobra Clutch Sleeperhold. The potentially damaging hold then almost instantaneously morphs into a Cobra Clutch Suplex, the likes of which sends a loud "OHHH!!" reverberating around the audience, as Cabana Boy is unceremoniously dumped on his head.] JD: Oh... oh my god. Fans, Cabana Boy X just got _dumped_ on his skull. [Again to his feet, Whitecross sneers down at the victim of his oh-so-fluid and almost poetic series of moves, before retrieving the fallen microphone.] LWW: You see what I mean? [And with a dismissive flick of the hand, Lord William makes with his departure as PWR officials race to the ring to aid the fallen Cabana Boy X, still unmoving in the ring.] JD: Fans... my god. Lord William Whitecross has made an immediate impact here in Pro Wrestling Revolution... and if this was any indication of what he can do in the ring, there's trouble coming for a lot of PWR superstars. We've got some help in there for Cabana Boy X... so let's go back up to Melissa for the introductions for our main event. [We cut back to the ring where Cabana Boy X is being pulled from view as Melissa Cannon begins her introductions... again.] MC: The following contest is our MAIN EVENT of the evening. It is has no time limit and will be conducted under Captain's Fall rules. You can eliminate members of the opposing team but you can not win the match until you eliminate the other team's captain. And in a bonus... if anyone pins or submits Calisto Dufresne, they will receive a future Pacific Title shot! [Pop!] MC: And now, the teams involved... introducing first... ["War Pigs" by Black Sabbath starts up to a mammoth heel pop from the PWR faithful as the first team steps through the curtain.] MC: They are... SEISHUKI! [The former bodyguard steps through the curtain in white pants and with his wrists and forearms heavily taped.] MC: MATTHEW YATES! [Yates steps through the curtain with his lawyer Jonathan H. Smith leading the way.] MC: The man who won the Spirit of the Revolution tournament earlier tonight... PURE X! [Pure X steps into view, looking egotistically across the wildly jeering crowd... then cracking a smirk.] MC: He is the Pacific Champion... CALISTO DUFRESNE! [Dufresne walks into sight, the gold belt wrapped around his waist as he heads towards the ring.] MC: And finally... the captain... CRUSHER TYLER! [A final shower of boos pours onto Tyler as he steps into the Santa Ana Elks Lodge, climbing up on the apron and joining his squad inside the squared circle. The music dies out and is replaced by "Superstar" by Saliva.] MC: And their opponents... first... EL HIJO DEL DIABLO! [A huge ovation goes up... as does a "WEL-COME BACK!" chant for the first graduating student of the M-DOJO.] MC: MATTHEW JUDAS! ["The Prophet" strides into view to join his team, pointing a warning arm at Pure X as he spots him.] MC: TRAVIS CADE! ["The Natural" steps through the curtain, getting a loud shower of cheers for his Pro Wrestling Revolution debut. Cade slaps a few hands before heading for the ring.] MC: CITY JACK! [The big Southerner walks into the Elks Lodge... and immediately locks eyes with Calisto Dufresne who slowly edges behind Matthew Yates... then taunts City Jack.] MC: And the team captain... the J*STAR Crown Champion... JAIDEN ANDREWS! [As Andrews steps into view, hobbling from the knee injury suffered earlier in the night, the crowd somehow grows even louder. Joining his team, Andrews leads them into the ring where words and shoves are quickly exchanged all around.] JD: Ten of the top stars in Pro Wrestling Revolution... if not the entire industry... are set to collide with some very high stakes. Melissa already mentioned the stip for Dufresne. Plus, whoever is the captain of the winning team will pick the stipulation for next month's final showdown between Jaiden Andrews and Crusher Tyler. You'd have to imagine that good performances here will cement some spots in the Contender's Ring as well. [Referee Patrick Rodriguez wedges himself between the two teams, giving orders to both Tyler and Andrews... and then calling for the bell to kick off the match.] JD: And here we go! The bell rings and this match is underway! [After a brief conversation amongst the teams, Matthew Yates steps forward for his squad while the masked luchador, El Hijo Del Diablo moves away from the corner to start for his team] JD: Matthew Yates and El Hijo Del Diablo... and this is a very interesting showdown. We've got two of the very first students from M-DOJO squaring off one on one in there. Diablo, of course, has gone on to compete in SouthWest Lucha Libre fulltime as well as taking part in NEO Pro's The Sky's The Limit tournament for light heavyweights. Yates has gone from the "ghetto thug", Shadow XL, to being known by his real name, Matthew Yates, in an attempt to change his image for legal reasons. [The two competitors circle one another for a bit then lunge towards each other, tying up in a collar and elbow lockup.] JD: Collar and elbow tie... Yates is trying to force him back towards the ropes. He moves quickly to a wristlock, putting the pressure on the limb of the luchador. [But El Hijo Del Diablo's having none of that, dropping down to front roll away from the pressure. He pops up to his knees, snaking an arm through Yates' legs and taking him down to the mat with a fireman's carry.] JD: Good counterwrestling by Diablo... and a quick cover! [Referee Patrick Rodriguez is barely able to make a one count before Yates easily kicks out of the lateral press.] JD: Yates out at one. Very smart. A lot of guys wait until a two count to get a breather... but that can cost you the match if things don't work out as you planned. [Diablo scampers to his feet after the kickout, reaching down to pull Yates up by the wrist... ...and catches a right hand to the midsection for his efforts!] JD: Ooh! Doubled him up with a shot to the belly. And scores with a big kneelift that sends Diablo falling back into the turnbuckles. Diablo trapped in the corner as Yates looks to- "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Oh my! Big kick to the ribcage of the masked man! [Yates steps back, setting his feet again.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" æ æ [The crowd groans with sympathy for El Hijo Del Diablo who clutches his ribs, falling from the corner.] JD: Diablo's hurting in the early moments of this one. Yates really did a number on him there. Matthew Yates is one of the hardest hitters in Pro Wrestling Revolution and his kicks are feared across the board by everyone in the locker room. He can turn your lights out in an instant. [Grabbing the wrist of the dazed luchador, Yates fires him across the ring, slamming him spinefirst to the opposite neutral corner... ...and charges in behind!] JD: Here comes Yates! [At the last moment, Matthew Yates leaps into the air, _driving_ a knee into the chest of El Hijo Del Diablo, further knocking the wind out of his sails.] JD: Ohhh my! [Yates falls back from the buckles, raising his hand and rearing back as Diablo staggers towards him.] JD: He's going for the XLerator! He'll try and end this match right here and now, fans! He's set! [Yates swings the shotay aimed for the skull of the masked man... ...but Diablo manages to duck the swing, hooking Yates' arm as it flies by... ...and taking him down to the mat!] JD: BACKSLIDE! BACKSLIDE! æ ONE!!! æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ TWO!! æ [But Yates frees himself from the cradle before the hand can fall for a third time, quickly getting to his feet... ...but finding his head snared between El Hijo Del Diablo's legs, being snapped over to the canvas with a rana! Big pop!] JD: El luchador es en fuego! æ UNO!!!! æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ æ DOS!!! æ [Pero Sr. Yates...ahem...but Mr. Yates kicks out of the tight double leg cradle, desperately trying to get back to his feet before Diablo does.] JD: El Hijo Del Diablo's showing how much he's improved since we first saw him in PWR. Training under El Corazon Negro down in SouthWest Lucha Libre has really stepped up Diablo's game a notch. [Both men get back to their feet at about the same time but Diablo is a step quicker, lashing out with a dropkick that knocks Yates back into the ropes.] JD: Yates backed to the ropes... Diablo quickly up again. Here he comes! [A stampeding El Hijo Del Diablo looks to send Matthew Yates sailing to the floor with a clothesline... ...but Yates drops his head, backdropping Diablo over the top rope.] JD: BACKDR- ohh! Diablo lands on his feet on the apron! He's not done ye- æ "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" æ [The crowd erupts as Yates lashes out with a stiff kick to the side of the head of El Hijo Del Diablo, knocking him from his perch to the apron and down to the carpeted floor below.] JD: What a shot by Matthew Yates! One of those lethal kicks I mentioned earlier found a home of the skull of El Hijo Del Diablo and just as I said, that can turn your lights out quick. This match, this homecoming for El Hijo Del Diablo may be over before it really got started. [Yates immediately charges across the ring, rampaging back towards his opponent... ...and scores with a baseball slide kick to the head that sends Diablo falling back into the ringside seats. Yates immediately gets back up, walking to the far ropes with a grin on his face. The crowd begins to buzz as they anticipate what he's thinking.] JD: You know he wants it! Matthew Yates wants the tope con hilo... and Jonathan H. Smith immediately gets in his path! He's screaming at Yates to stay in the ring... to stay in control. [The fans jeer Smith wildly as he prevents them from seeing Yates' spectacular dive to the floor. He ignores them, still shouting instructions to his charge... ...until a boot to the squash from City Jack silences him, knocking him to the floor as they crowd _explodes_ into cheers!] JD: Yeah! Yeah! City Jack shut that windbag's trap! [But City Jack holds his ground, standing between Matthew Yates and his intended dive victim. The tough Southerner glares into the eyes of the man who cost him the Pacific Title, waving for him to come and move him.] JD: City Jack _wants_ the fight with Yates... he wants to show this kid up for costing him the Pacific Title at the J*STAR Festival. That was the biggest show that City Jack has ever been on and he thought he had the title won. Matthew Yates screwed him out of it and you can bet City Jack will not forget that anytime soon. [Yates glares at City Jack coldly, perhaps wondering if he should take offense to his mouthpiece being levelled... or if he should take offense to City Jack's open challenge to him.] JD: What will Matthew Yates do?! He's trying to decide if he should take City Jack up on his challenge. Should he take the fight to the Souther- [The crowd bursts into jeers as the Pacific Champion, Calisto Dufresne, reaches over and slaps the shoulder of his reluctant ally and steps into the ring for the first time.] JD: Oh come on! We were about see Yates and City Jack square off and Calisto Dufresne tags himself into the match. The Pacific Champion is in... and that's a little surprising. We've all heard the stipulation. If Dufresne gets pinned or forced to submit in this match, whoever does it will challenge him for the Pacific Title at the soonest opportunity. [With City Jack holding the opposition at bay, El Hijo Del Diablo crawls across the carpet, using the bottom rope to pull himself back to his feet... ...where Calisto Dufresne reaches over the ropes, grabbing him by a horn and hauling him up on the ring apron.] JD: Dufresne's got him hooked... he lifts! [And brings Diablo crashing down to the canvas with a vertical suplex.] JD: Ohhhh! Nicely executed! And Dufresne with a lateral press! [The Pacific Champion only scores a two count though as Diablo shoots his shoulder up off the mat. Dufresne mimes a three count before pushing back up to his feet, reaching down to pull Diablo up by the horn.] JD: Both men back to their feet... æ "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" æ JD: Ohhh! What a chop by the champion! [Clutching his chest, Diablo falls back against the ropes where Dufresne winds up again.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" æ [The crowd "WOOOO"ing their hearts out, Dufresne grabs Diablo by the wrist to fire him across the ring.] JD: Irish whip... boot to the gut... [The Pacific Champion quickly applies a front facelock and _spikes_ Diablo skullfirst to the canvas below.] JD: DDT! Another cover! [But again there's only a two count before Diablo shoots his shoulder up off the canvas.] JD: It becomes obvious that Dufresne really would like to make a quick elimination here. And I think you can be certain it's not because he gives a damn if his team wins. It's not because he cares if Crusher Tyler gets to pick the stipulation for the big match with Jaiden Andrews next month. Dufresne is elimination future challengers. He knows that if someone pins him or forces him to submit, he has to face them with the gold on the line. He also knows that if someone comes close to beating him, they'll put themselves in line for a title shot in the future. [An arrogant Dufresne pushes himself back to his feet, looking down at Diablo as he measures his next action.] JD: You can be sure there's not a soul in this ring that Calisto Dufresne looks forward to defending his title against, fans. El Hijo Del Diablo might become a top international contender for the title... but Dufresne will do everything he can to avoid defending the title against him. [Reaching down, Dufresne grabs Diablo by the horn on his mask, dragging him to the corner where he tags Pure X into the ring for the first time in the match. A huge shower of boos greets him.] JD: The Spirit of the Revolution tournament winner steps into the ring. How nauseous does that make me? I can't stand the thought of him representing this company as the winner of that tournament. It sickens me to the core. [Pure X and Dufresne opt to work together for a moment, whipping Diablo across the ring.] JD: Double whip... flapjack! Pure X and Calisto Dufresne put him down facefirst on the canvas... [The boos turn to a mixed reaction as Pure X hangs on to the leg, rolling through the flapjack into a half Boston Crab.] JD: Whoa! Innovative offense by the Spirit of the Revolution winner! Pure X is wrenching the knee of the luchador, looking to get a submission out of him and put his team up five to four in this match. Remember, you can only win the match by eliminating the other team's captain. You can eliminate the other members of the team but that doesn't end the match until the captain's gone. [X wrenches back, a sick grin on his face as Diablo cries out in pain.] JD: Pure X is another member of Crusher Tyler's team who doesn't give a damn if Tyler wins. He doesn't care about anyone but himself... that much is obvious. This match to him is about boosting his reputation. Adding a few more notches to his belt. [Pure X leans further back, bringing more cries of pain from El Hijo Del Diablo... and then gestures at a waiting Matthew Judas, taunting him.] JD: Oh come on! If you're not going to fight him, leave him alone, X! [X's challenge does not go unanswered as Matthew Judas springs through the ropes into the ring, charging towards the Spirit of the Revolution winner... ...but getting blocked off by referee Patrick Rodriguez who holds him at bay, forcing him back towards the corner.] JD: Matthew Judas just wants... he just wants to rip off Pure X's skull so damn badly. I can't blame him but he's dying to get X in the ring and Pure X is refusing to face him. He says Judas isn't good enough to get him in the ring and- [Taking advantage of the distracted official, Pure X breaks the hold, slapping his hands together to imitate a tag as Seishuki slides into the ring to replace him.] JD: Illegal switch made by Pure X and Seishuki! [With Diablo still on the mat, the former bodyguard of Luke Kinsey begins stomping and kicking the skull of the masked man.] JD: The fans are all over Team Crusher. They're really doing a number on El Hijo Del Diablo... really making an attempt to spoil his homecoming. Seishuki's showing the skills that made him a top bodyguard in this business for so long. He's protected powerful executives. He's protected wrestlers who wouldn't seem to need protection. When a wrestler the caliber of Luke Kinsey hires you as protection, you know you've got something special. [Seishuki drags Diablo off the canvas by the mask, hurling him back into the Team Crusher corner.] JD: Diablo back in the corner...so far away from making the tag he desperately needs to make. [Winding up, Seishuki drives his tape-wrapped fingers into the throat of the masked man.] JD: Ohh! Martial arts thrust to the throat! Right to the windpipe of Diablo and that takes him down to his knees immediately. El Hijo Del Diablo is gasping for air... absolutely desperate to get air into his body. [A hard kick to the chest takes Diablo all the way down to the canvas as Seishuki reaches out and slaps the hand of his team captain, bringing Crusher Tyler into the ring for the first time of the match.] JD: Crusher Tyler steps in... and that's very risky for him and his team. One slip up by Tyler would end this match. You notice Jaiden Andrews is very protected by his team right now. They don't want him in the ring until it's absolutely necessary... especially with that knee injury he suffered earlier against Pure X. [Pulling El Hijo Del Diablo off the canvas, Tyler slaps him across the face.] "That's for leaving the Dojo!" [The crowd "oooooh"s at the comment... then buzzes as Tyler hoists Diablo into the air, pressing him over his head.] JD: Military press! [The buzz grows louder as Tyler brings him down so that he's nearly touching the top of Tyler's skull... then presses him back up into the air.] JD: Oh my! Look at the power of Crusher Tyler! He may have dropped some weight in preparation for this match and for next month's match... but he's shed no power at all. This big behemoth is as strong as ever! [Tyler smirks as he lowers Diablo again... ...and pushes him right back to the sky once more.] JD: This is impressive, fans. Even if you're not a fan of Crusher Tyler, you've gotta be impressed by this. [The former bodybuilder holds Diablo high for a while, soaking up the appreciative cheers of the fans... then steps away, allowing Diablo to slam facefirst into the canvas. A big ovation goes up for the feat of strength he just displayed.] JD: Awe-inspiring power on display right there, fans. Crusher Tyler has brought these fans to their feet and who can blame them? [Tyler looks down at the injured luchador... then lifts a mighty arm.] JD: Oh my. Tyler's calling for the Death Valley Driver! He's gonna finish this one off! [Reaching down, Tyler grabs one of Diablo's horns, pulling him up to his feet... and then up into a fireman's carry.] JD: He's got him up! If he hits this, it's- [The crowd roars as Diablo wriggles free from certain elimination before leaping into the air. He reaches out with his legs, snaring Tyler's head from behind... ...and _spiking_ him skullfirst into the canvas! Huge pop!] JD: OHHHHHHH MY!!! DAAAAAANGEROUS!!! "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" [With his attacker down, El Hijo Del Diablo begins crawling across the ring, looking to make the exchange with a member of his team.] JD: Diablo's trying to get out of there. He knows how badly he needs to make the tag... and he needs to do it now while Crusher Tyler's down on the canvas. Tyler's crawling the opposite way, heading towards one of the neutral corners as Diablo... he's getting closer... [The fans start clapping in unison, trying to rally Diablo to make the tag to one of the outstretched hands looking for him.] JD: Almost there. Come on, kid! [And with one last burst of energy, El Hijo Del Diablo throws himself towards the corner, slapping the hand of Matthew Judas! Huge pop!] JD: Here comes the Prophet! [Judas tears through the ropes, sprinting across the ring to where Crusher Tyler is leaning in the turnbuckles. He leaps to the middle rope, snapping off a kick to the back of his head! Big pop!] JD: Springboard enzugiri! He rocked the big man! And Crusher Tyler suddenly finds himself in trouble. If he gets pinned, this match is over... but no one on his team seems to be in a hurry to get in there to help him! [The Prophet backs off, waiting for Tyler to stagger out of the buckles. As he does, Judas charges back in, leaping into the air with a spinning back elbow... ...and knocking Tyler off his feet before diving across his chest for a lateral press!] JD: COVER! ONE!!! TWO!!! [The powerful team captain muscles out of the pin attempt, breaking it at two.] JD: Not enough to keep Crusher Tyler down... but Judas doesn't care. He backs off... slapping that leg. He's setting up for the Kiss of Judas! If he hits that superkick, Crusher Tyler's night may be over! [Judas stands poised...ready... set...] JD: SUPERKIC- [But Tyler ducks under the thrust kick! As Judas regains his balance and turns towards him, Tyler explodes into a spear tackle, knocking the Prophet back into the turnbuckles... ...and immediately makes the tag to Matthew Yates to escape from the danger in the ring.] JD: A smart tag by Crusher Tyler. He knows he needs to avoid any pin attempts in there... and Matthew Judas had him reeling for a bit. He makes the exchange and in comes Yates again. [The former gang member zeroes in on the ribcage of Judas, uncorking kick after kick.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [Judas cringes with every shot and is clutching his ribcage as the barrage of strikes ends.] JD: Yates grabs him by the arm... whip to the opposite corner... here comes Yates! [Matthew Yates stampedes across the ring, leaping into the air.] JD: LEAPING FOREAR- [POP!] JD: JUDAS MOVED! JUDAS MOVED! [And with Yates cornered, it's Matthew Judas' time to strike hard.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: YES! YES! Turnabout's fair play! [Now clutching his own ribs, Yates staggers from the corner doubled over which allows Judas to hit the ropes... leaping up... ...and bringing his leg crashing down across the back of Matthew Yates' neck! Big pop!] JD: Axe kick! Matthew Judas scores with the axe kick on Yates! Cover! ONE!!! TWO!!! [But Yates pops his shoulder off the mat, breaking the pin at the two count.] JD: Matthew Yates is just so tough. It's gonna take a lot more than that to put him down for a three count, I think. [Judas apparently agrees as he pulls Yates to a vertical base, tugging him into a standing headscissors... ...and reaching to double underhook the arms! Big pop!] JD: HE'S GOING FOR THE BETRAYAL! IF HE HITS IT- [Matthew Yates doesn't even want to know what'll happen if he hits it so he drops down to a knee, avoiding the lift.] JD: Counter by Yates. A well-scouted gameplan by Matthew Yates. He knew exactly what was coming there. Judas can't get him up when Yates is down on a knee like that and- [Judas breaks the double underhook, grabbing Yates by the head... ...and driving his knee up into Yates' head repeatedly.] JD: Oh my! Four brutal kneestrikes to the skull of Matthew Yates! Yates is in trouble! [Moreso than he knows as Judas steps back... ...and snaps off a hard kick to the skull of Yates, knocking him down to the canvas in a heap.] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: We all talked about the hard kicks from Matthew Yates... well, Matthew Judas is showing us he's no slouch in that department either, fans. Matthew Judas just levelled Yates with those knees and that kick to the skull. [Pop!] JD: And he's going for the Betrayal again! He's got him hooked! HE LIFT- [But before he can get Yates off the canvas, the Pacific Champion slides into the ring and buries a forearm shot in the kidneys of the Prophet. Huge heel pop!] JD: Dufresne in for the save! He bailed out his partner in crime... and you just know it's so he's got someone around to protect him later. He doesn't give a damn about Matthew Yates. He only cares about that damn title belt! [With the double underhook broken, Judas stands stunned for a moment... just long enough for Matthew Yates to leap into the air, lash out with his foot, and _drill_ Judas in the side of the head! Massive mixed pop!] JD: KAMENGIRI! The leaping head kick by Yates takes Judas down like he'd been shot! Both men are down! Yates is down... Judas is down... and both men are looking to make a tag. Both men are crawling in opposite directions towards their respective corners! [The crowd starts clapping and stomping again, cheering on their respective favorite as they both attempt to get fresh blood in the ring.] JD: Here we go... both men are close. Who can make the tag first? [POP!] JD: CITY JACK! [And a far less enthusiastic pop as Yates slaps the hand to bring in the Spirit of the Revolution winner, Pure X.] JD: PURE X! [The crowd erupts once more as City Jack races across the ring as fast as his large frame and injured knee will carry him... ...and _drills_ Pure X with a clothesline that takes him down to the mat!] JD: Yes! City Jack drops Pure X like a bad habit... X quickly back to his feet though and- [POP!] JD: Another clothesline! City Jack's tearing the Spirit winner apart! Pure X's ego is being beaten out of him by City Jack! I love it! [Pure X quickly scampers to his feet again... ...and again is levelled by a rampaging Southerner who lets loose a wild cry as he looks down at a stunned Pure X.] JD: City Jack's fired up here tonigh- SEISHUKI! [The silent assassin slides into the ring, uncorking a superkick aimed at the jaw of the big man... ...who somehow manages to sidestep the kick.] JD: He moved! Jack moved and- [MASSIVE POP!] JD: METROPILL! HE CREAMED SEISHUKI WITH THE FOREARM SMASH!! [And while he's on a roll, he charges towards the opposing corner, connecting with a running back elbow that sends Crusher Tyler flying from the apron to the floor! Huge pop!] JD: City Jack's gonna take on the whole damn team, fans! City Jack wants payback for J*STAR... [With his mighty hands, City Jack slaps the canvas and points... ...dead at Matthew Yates and Calisto Dufresne.] JD: ...and he wants it right now! That's who he came here for, fans. He wants Dufresne and Yates! He wants to rip their damn heads off their bodies! He wants them in the ring right now and he doesn't care if it's both of them, dammit! Let's do this, boys! Let's go! [But before Yates and/or Dufresne can answer the challenge, a recovering Pure X dives at the legs from behind City Jack, _driving_ his shoulder into the back of Jack's knee! Huge heel pop!] JD: Ohhhh! Damn him! Hasn't Pure X done enough for one night?! He has to rob us of our chance to see City Jack pummel Calisto Dufresne too?! Damn him! [Having chopblocked City Jack to the mat, Pure X pops up and starts stomping the injured wheel of the big Southerner, trying to do even more damage.] JD: He's got City Jack down on the mat, trying to work over that knee... trying to do more damage to the knee that Calisto Dufresne twisted into a pretzel at J*STAR. Not to mention the knee that Dufresne whacked with a damn tire iron months ago! He's... what the hell is he doing now? [The crowd buzzes as Pure X rips at the straps on the metal kneebrace.] JD: He's trying to take the kneebrace off?! What kind of sick fu- dammit, fans! This is uncalled for! Pure X should be disqualifed on the spot for something like this! He's trying to take off a protectiv- [An eruption of cheers as City Jack reaches up to pepper Pure X with right hands, knocking him away from the kneebrace.] JD: Yeah! Pure X gets knocked back... and City Jack's getting back to his feet. Back to a vertical base... ohh! Dropkick to the knee by Pure X! He's pinpointing his attack on the leg... and I suppose we should expect nothing less from him. He's shown to be a very intellig- [Charging across the ring with a grin, X springs off the bent knee of City Jack, _driving_ his knee into the skull of his opponent.] JD: SHINING WIZARD?! What the-?! [The fans erupt into jeers... and somehow grow louder as he gets back up, turning to face the opposing corner... ...and dropping down into a deep bow.] JD: Oh, that son of a- ANDREWS! JUDAS! [The two men on the opposing team who would take most offense to the Shining Wizard being used spring into action, attempting to charge the Spirit of the Revolution tournament winner... ...who promptly backs away, allowing the referee to block the advances of Andrews and Judas, forcing them back to their corner.] JD: Come on, ref! Let them rip his damn head off! [And with the ref distracted again, Pure X takes the chance to slap his hands together and slide from the ring as Seishuki climbs back into action.] JD: The silent assassin back in the ring... ohh! Leaping stomp to the side of City Jack's head! More stomps... now some kicks! He's working over the downed City Jack. [Striking a wide base, Seishuki drives a big knife edge chop down into the back of the recovering City Jack. And a second. And a third. And a fourth. A hard kick to the ribs rolls City Jack onto his back.] JD: Jack on his back and- no! Blatant choke by Seishuki! He's choking the life out of City Jack. He's a damn hired hitman for this match by Crusher Tyler. He'll do whatever Tyler tells him to... believe that. [With City Jack on the canvas barely moving, Seishuki deadleaps to the top rope... pauses... ...then hurls himself from the top rope, his knee aimed squarely at the skull of the big Southerner.] "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" [BIG POP!] JD: HE MISSED! SEISHUKI MISSED THE KNEEDROP!!! [City Jack keeps on rolling... ...and slaps the waiting hand of Travis Cade! Pop!] JD: In comes the Natural as Seishuki staggers to his feet, clutching his knee. Cade charges! [A big pop goes up as Cade _creams_ Seishuki with a huge lariat that flips the martial artist inside out before dumping him down to the canvas!] JD: Good grief, Linus! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [BIG SHOCKED POP!] JD: OHHH! The fans thought he had him after the impact of that lariat. Quite frankly, I'm pretty surprised he got the shoulder up myself. Travis Cade is looking to make a big first impression on the PWR fans. [Cade reaches down to pull Seishuki off the canvas, dragging him into a rear waistlock.] JD: Waistlock! [The J*STAR Crown finalist hoists Seishuki into the air, _dumping_ him down on the back of his head and neck! Big pop!] JD: GERMAN! AND HE'S NOT DONE!! [Cade holds the waistlock, rolling back to his feet... pausing...] JD: ANOTHER ONE!!! Two German suplexes on Seishuki! Welcome to the Revolution, Seishuki! [Seishuki is rolled back up to his feet again... ...and promptly taken down to the canvas and locked in a crossface! HUGE POP!] JD: CAVALCADE 2.0!! THE CROSSFACE!!! HE'S LOCKED ON THE CAVALCADE 2.0! [And quickly, the fans begin to chant...] "TAP!" "TAP!" "TAP!" [And then some of the more creative...] "TAP MUTHAFUCKA TAP MUTHAFUCKA TAP!" JD: You've got to love the People of the Revolution. And you've _got_ to be here live to experience what it's like. [With the dueling chants in the air, Seishuki raises a hand, ready to tap out and give Travis Cade his first submission in Pro Wrestling Revolution.] JD: He's gonna do it! He's gonna tap! [But before he can bring the hand down, Crusher Tyler slides into the ring and plants a big boot in the side of Cade's head, breaking the hold.] JD: Damn him! Crusher Tyler's protecting his investment out there... making sure that Seishuki's around to protect him later in this match if and when he needs him. [An irate Travis Cade climbs to his feet and charges to the corner where Crusher Tyler has returned... ...and knocks Tyler off the apron with a right hand! Big pop!] JD: Down goes Tyler! And he knocks Pure X off the apron as well! ["The Natural" turns on his heels and _cracks_ Calisto Dufresne with a forearm shot, sending him sailing off the apron into the ringside seats. But as he turns to give a final shot... ...Yates races down the apron and knocks him flat with a clothesline! The crowd deflates as Cade hits the canvas... and then boos more as Seishuki, holding his shoulder, tags Yates into the match.] JD: Matthew Yates coming in again? He's definitely the workhorse for Team Crusher tonight. Some would say that his squad is using him... knowing he'll go out there and fight absolutely anyone. Very different than the other members of that team like Dufresne and Pure X who're running and hiding from City Jack and Matthew Judas respectively. [A few stomps causes Travis Cade to roll to the corner, leaning against the bottom turnbuckle... ...and allowing Matthew Yates to firmly press his boot on the face of Cade.] JD: Oh no. Not this! [The crowd roars as Yates rakes his boot across the face of the Natural... and grows louder as he does it again... and still louder as he does it again.] JD: Bootscrapes! One of the most popular moves done in a PWR ring... no matter if it's Matthew Yates doing it or not. [With Cade barely hanging in there, Yates races to the far ropes for one final running bootscrape... ...and runs headlong into City Jack who _cracks_ Matthew Yates with a Metropill from the ring apron!] JD: OHHHH MY! What a shot by City Jack! Payback's a bitch, Matthew Yates! City Jack just saved Travis Cade from that running bootscrape! [POP!] JD: HE TAGS IN! HERE COMES CITY JACK!! JACK AND YATES!! [Jack yanks Yates to his feet, shoving him back into the ropes.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [A trio of jaw-shaking forearm shots nearly knocks Matthew Yates off his feet before City Jack fires him across the ring.] JD: Irish whip... back comes Yates! [BIG POP!] JD: BEARHUG!! THAT'S THE SETUP FOR THE METROBOOM!! [But before City Jack can pivot and plant Yates with the belly to belly suplex, Calisto Dufresne slides into the ring and plants a knee in the lower back of Jack, breaking his grip.] JD: Again! Again, Calisto Dufresne bails out his partner in crime! [Grabbing the arms of Jack, they whip him across the ring.] JD: Double irish whip... double clothesli- ducked by City Jack! Off the far side... [HUGE POP!] JD: CITY JACK DROPS THEM BOTH!! A HUUUUUGE DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE BY THE BIG SOUTHERNER!!! [Yanking Yates off the canvas again, Jack hoists him up... ...and drops him down in an inverted atomic drop!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Side headlock applied... BULLDOG! An old school bulldog headlock by the big man... and he makes a cover! ONE!!! TWO!!! TH- [Yates fires a shoulder off the mat before the count can go any further, breaking the pin attempt... but not breaking City Jack's momentum as he hauls Yates up to his feet again, shoving him into the Team Andrews corner.] JD: Yates leaning in the buckles... barely on his feet... [The big man charges across the ring... ...and _rocks_ Yates with a running forearm shot that causes him to stagger from the buckles.] "SLAAAAAP!" [The crowd _explodes_ as Jaiden Andrews slaps the shoulder of City Jack, quickly scaling the ropes... well, as quickly as you can with one good knee.] JD: Jaiden Andrews makes a blind tag to bring himself into the match... and City Jack does _not_ look happy about that at all, fans. Andrews is up top... Yates is stunned... [POP!] JD: FLYING DROPKICK OFF THE TOP!!! HE LEVELLED YATES!! COVER!!! ONE!!!! TWO!!! THR- [The crowd roars with disappointment as Yates fires his shoulder off the canvas again.] JD: No one ever accused Matthew Yates of not being tough, fans. This guy is as tough as they come and it's gonna take the equivalent of being hit by a bus to put him down for a three count. [Andrews quickly regains his feet, pulling Yates off the mat.] JD: HOOK! [But as Andrews prepares to hurl Yates through the air with an Exploder suplex, Matthew Yates dives backwards to the neutral corner, grabbing the ropes to avoid it.] JD: He almost felt the Exploder there but he managed to avoid it. In comes Jaiden... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: OHHHH! Some hard forearms thrown by the J*STAR Crown winner! He's gotta be careful though. That knee is very shaky. I saw them working on it during intermission. He needs to be very careful out there to avoid a wrong step and losing this match. [Suddenly, Andrews drops down to all fours just a few feet from the corner.] JD: I don't understan- DIABLOOOOO!!! [The luchador sprints across the ring, springing off the back of the SoCal Superstar, flipping in a somersault... ...and crashing into a stunned Matthew Yates!] JD: CANNONBALL IN THE CORNER! Good teamwork by Team Andrews! [Jaiden retakes his feet, waving to his corner which brings Travis Cade in alongside him.] JD: Cade and Andrews... hook! [HUUUUUGE POP!] JD: DOUBLE EXPLOOOOOOOIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! [Cade and Diablo bail from the ring at the referee's orders as Andrews slaps his knee, waving for Yates to get up.] JD: He's calling for the Shining Wizard! And you know that spells the end of the match for whoever he hits with it. If Matthew Yates wants to stay in this match, he needs to avoid this at all costs. He needs to- [And Yates' prayers are answered as Crusher Tyler snakes an arm under the bottom rope around Andrews' ankle, yanking him off his feet.] JD: What the-?! Dammit! "CLAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: OHHHH! HE WRAPPED ANDREWS' KNEE AROUND THE RINGPOST! [Weary and seizing the chance to end the match, Yates slaps the hand of the Pacific Champion yelling a "Finish this shit!" at him as he steps through the ropes.] JD: Erm... well, Matthew Yates thinks this match may be just about over. [Jonathan H. Smith has a few words for Yates before shouting encouragement to Dufresne who pulls Andrews out of the corner, dragging him up to his feet.] JD: Dufresne hooks him... lifts! [The crowd groans as Andrews is brought down hard in a shinbreaker!] JD: Jaiden Andrews finds his knee the target of this entire team of bloodthirsty individuals... and he finds it under attack for the second time tonight. Andrews down on the mat... Dufresne's got the foot... [Big mixed pop!] JD: He's going for the figure fo- [Andrews reaches up to grab Dufresne's hair... ...and pulls him down into an inside cradle!] JD: INSIDE CRADLE!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [BIG DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: Kickout! Dufresne got the shoulder up in time! [And desperate to avoid any in-ring conflict with someone who can actually... you know... fight back... Dufresne makes a diving tag to Crusher Tyler who stomps into the ring.] JD: Oh! Tyler stomps the knee! That'll make sure Jaiden Andrews won't get back on offense any time soon. Tyler reaching down, pulling Andrews off the feet. [The crowd buzzes as Tyler tugs Andrews into a standing headscissors.] JD: He's got him hooked! He's gonna spike him! [The big man hoists Andrews up onto his shoulders, takes a few steps across the ring, and drops down into a sitout powerbomb!] JD: SITOUT POWERBOMB!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE POP!] JD: ANDREWS GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Crusher Tyler _planted_ him but Jaiden Andrews was able to get a shoulder up in time! [Glaring at the referee, Tyler pulls Andrews up by the hair, tugging him into the standing headscissors again.] JD: He lifts! He's gonna plant him again! [Tyler muscles him into a crucifix powerbomb position... ...and _spikes_ him on the back of his head and neck again!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: Good god! Another huge powerbomb! And Tyler makes the cover. ONE!!! TWO!!! THR- [HUGE POP!] JD: DIABLO BREAKS THE PIN!! EL HIJO DEL DIABLO BREAKS THE PIN!! He knew the team captain was in trouble. He knew he had to do something to save him. And he manages to do it. Diablo saved the match for Jaiden Andrews and his team. [The referee forces Diablo from the ring as Crusher Tyler rises to his feet, glaring at the luchador... and reaching down to yank Andrews to his feet by the hair... ...and hoisting him up in a fireman's carry.] JD: DVD! He's going for the DVD! [But again, a member of Andrews' team is there for him as Travis Cade slides through the ropes and grabs Jaiden's foot, pulling him out of the fireman's carry. A stunned Crusher Tyler turns around.] JD: JUDAS! [The team solidarity continues as Matthew Judas hurls himself off the top rope, taking Crusher Tyler down to the canvas with a high cross body block!] JD: WHOOOOOA MY! [Judas leaps to his feet, pulling Tyler with him as the crowd goes apeshit. Cade joins Judas in backing Tyler into the ropes...] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [The Prophet cracks a grin at the Natural as they both wind up again.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [The chest of Crusher Tyler turns beet red from the brutal double chops. Judas and Cade continue to work together, firing Tyler across the ring.] JD: Double whip... [The Prophet buries a boot in the gut of Tyler as Cade hits the ropes, rebounding back to snare Tyler's head in his arms... ...and snap him down to the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker! Big pop!] JD: NECKBREAKER! Judas and Cade are working over Crusher Tyler, giving their team captain a chance to recover from those powerful blows he took from Tyler. [But finally, Tyler's "hired gun" for the night has seen enough as he slides into the ring...] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [A high impact superkick catches Judas under the jaw, sending him sailing over the ropes and crashing down to the carpet with a thud!] JD: Down goes Judas! Cade char- LARIAT! [But Seishuki manages to duck the big lariat that floored him earlier, snapping back with a thrust kick that knocks Travis Cade into the corner. Seishuki takes a few steps back before bursting into a handspring, driving an elbow into the throat of Cade and knocking him back down to the canvas. As he does it, Crusher Tyler starts to recover, climbing to a knee... ...just as Jaiden Andrews climbs to his feet.] JD: JAIDEN! [Andrews seizes the moment, charging across the ring.] JD: SHINING WIZ- [But before he can get to Tyler, Seishuki leaps into action... ...and sprays a horrid black mist into the face of Jaiden Andrews!] JD: MIST!! THE BLACK MIST!! [Referee Patrick Rodriguez sees Jaiden Andrews collapse to the canvas, hands shooting up to rub his eyes, screaming in agony.... ...and calls for the bell!] JD: Jaiden Andrews has been blinded! Seishuki and that damn black mist just blinded Jaiden Andrews! [DING DING DING] MC: Referee Patrick Rodriguez has ruled because of the use of the black mist, Seishuki has been DISQUALIFED! [Big pop!] MC: He has been _eliminated_ from this match! [The crowd roars as an irate Seishuki exits the ring, black liquid still dripping from his mouth as he makes his way to the corner.] JD: Seishuki saved Crusher Tyler from the Shining Wizard... so I guess he earned his damn blood money here tonight, fans. I guess he earned it. We're down to five on four with a Team Andrews advantage. But I don't even know if this match can continue. [The PWR medical team hits the ring, pulling Andrews to the floor as the referee forces Crusher Tyler back, not allowing him to go after the J*STAR Crown winner.] JD: Jaiden's blinded... he can't see a thing at all. We may have to stop this match, fans. I apologize for this but... well, sometimes things beyond our control happen and- [Melissa Cannon's voice is heard again.] MC: After consulting with the medical staff, referee Patrick Rodriguez has ruled that while they attempt to cleanse Andrews' eyes, this match _will_ continue! [Huge pop! The medical staff walks Andrews to the locker room area as an irate Crusher Tyler shoves the referee aside and stalks towards a dazed Travis Cade.] JD: Tyler dragging Cade out of the corner. He's hot under the collar, fans. He's furious at the referee for allowing the match to continue when it looks like Jaiden Andrews may not be able to. [Grabbing Cade by the arm, Tyler fires him across the ring.] JD: Irish whip... clothesli- ducked by Cade! [As he passes, Cade snares a rear waistlock, racing Tyler into the ropes and rolling back... ...right into a bridging reverse cradle!] JD: ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [MASSIVE DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: Oh my god! How close was that?! You couldn't get any closer! Travis Cade almost won this match for his friend, Jaiden Andrews! Cade almost won the match for his team in his debut! [Both men get to their feet at the same time, Tyler hurling a right hand that Cade ducks, tucking his head between Tyler's legs and hoisting him into the air with an electric chair lift.] JD: He makes the tag to Diablo... he's going up top! [And as the luchador reaches the peak, he hurls himself into the air, snaring Tyler's head with his legs... ...and _snapping_ him waaaaaay down to the canvas below! Deafening pop!] JD: RANA OFF THE SHOULDERS!!! MY GOD, WHAT A MOVE!!! "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" [With Tyler hurled across the ring, Pure X reaches over the ropes to tag himself into the match.] JD: Pure X may have just saved Crusher Tyler from certain elimination... DIABLO! [The wild-eyed luchador sprints towards the Spirit of the Revolution winner... ...but Pure X drops his head, backdropping Diablo over the ropes. But again, the athletic junior heavyweight lands on the apron.] JD: Diablo almost got sent to the floor but he again finds a way to hang onto the ropes. Again he finds a way to stay on the apron. [And with Pure X's hands on the top rope, Diablo tugs the cable, taking Pure X over the top rope and down to the carpeted floor of the Elks Lodge to a huge ovation!] JD: DOWN GOES PURE X!! El Hijo Del Diablo is feeling the moment here! He's trying to get some payback on Pure X for all the trash he talked about his former teachers and former fellow students. [Sliding back into the ring, Diablo sprints towards the far ropes, rebounding back.] JD: DIABLOOOOO!!! "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" [The crowd _explodes_ as El Hijo Del Diablo hurls himself over the top rope, corkscrewing through the air and crashing down onto a stunned Pure X!] JD: OHHHH YEAH! DIABLO TAKES HIM DOWN!! [Travis Cade slides into the ring behind him, slapping his elbow... and charging across the ring as Diablo pulls Pure X off the carpeted floor.] JD: CADE! [And somehow the crowd grows louder as the Natural hurls himself through the middle and top ropes, slamming his elbow into the face of Pure X! Massive pop!] JD: We've got a damn trainwreck on the floor, fans! There's dives all over the place and- JUDAS IS IN!! [The Prophet pumps his arms, driving the crowd into a frenzy as he hits the ropes, rebounding back... ...and getting _planted_ with a spinebuster by Matthew Yates! MASSIVE HEEL POP!] JD: And Matthew Yates ends the dive train! We've got bodies all over the floor... but Matthew Judas won't be adding to them tonight, fans! Yates cut him off and- [But as the former Shadow XL gets to his feet, he casts a glance to the floor where Diablo, Cade, and Pure X are climbing to their feet.] JD: Oh no. [The crowd begins to buzz as they realize Yates is thinking about joining the party.] JD: He's not! For once, listen to Jonathan H. Smith! [But before he can make a decision, he gets drilled from behind by a returning Jaiden Andrews! Big mixed pop!] JD: Jaiden cuts him off... JAIDEN'S BACK IN THE MATCH!! He fires him to the ropes... YAAAAKUUUUZ- ducked by Yates. Off the far side... clothesli- ducked agai-OHHHHHHHHH SHIT!! [The crowd fucking loses control as Yates makes a running duck of the clothesline and just keeps on going, diving through the middle and top ropes with a total flip and wiping out everyone in his path!] "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" "HO-LY SHIT!" [With half the match out on the floor, the returned Jaiden Andrews, black substance still staining the skin around his eyes, pulls his teammate Matthew Judas off the mat... ...and points out to the floor. Huge pop!] JD: Oh god. [With a shared grin, the two men charge across the ring, leaping to the top rope and springing off with stereo somersault dives... ...on top of _everyone_!] "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" [With the ring empty, Crusher Tyler steps in... eyes wide.] JD: Are you kidding me? Even with all that lost weight, can he do-?! Oh my god! He's gonna- [Tyler charges across the ring, _hurling_ his massive frame over the ropes onto the recovered pile!] JD: OHHHHHHH MY!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?!? DID YOU SEE THAT?!?! [With a deafening crowd on their feet and bodies strewn all over the ringside area, Calisto Dufresne, the Pacific Champion, gets into the ring and looks out over them... ...and starts laughing.] JD: Oh, you jackass! What's so damn funny?! Be a man and dive out there on top of them! Show some damn balls for once, Dufresne! [But with the Pacific Champion so busy laughing, he fails to notice City Jack get in the ring... ...and walk up right behind Dufresne. The crowd roars with anticipation as Dufresne slowly turns.] JD: HE'S GOT HIM! CITY JACK HOISTS HIM UP!!! [And with incredible strength, he presses him high overhead... ...and charges.] JD: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! [DEAFENING POP!] JD: CITY JACK THROWS DUFRESNE OUT ONTO THE PILE!!! MY GOD IN HEAVEN!! IT LOOKS LIKE AN EMERGENCY ROOM ON THE FLOOR! [And with the entire match on the floor, City Jack... well, he just looks kinda lonely. He looks out on the floor... and slowly, a chant starts.] "JUMP JACK JUMP!" JD: Are you kidding me? Don't listen to them, Jack! [The chant grows.] "JUMP JACK JUMP!" "JUMP JACK JUMP!" "JUMP JACK JUMP!" "JUMP JACK JUMP!" "JUMP JACK JUMP!" "JUMP JACK JUMP!" [And being a hero of the people, City Jack does a little jig, shrugs his shoulders... ...and starts to climb.] JD: Oh fuck. Someone call 911! [With his body weight and kneebrace slowing him down, City Jack takes quite a while to reach the top... ...just long enough for the rest of the competitors in the match to reach their collective feet.] JD: Oh god. Oh god. Hail Mary full of grace... [You said it, baby. Let's do this shit.] JD: JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! [Wobbling a bit as he stands up top, City Jack takes a deep breath and goes for the highlight reel, leaping into a somersault off the top rope... ...sailing awkwardly through the sky... ...and wiping out _everyone_ in the landing strip! EARTHSHATTERING POP!] JD: Oh... holy... hell. "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" "REV-OLU-SHUN!" [With the roaring crowd still on their feet, cheering for the collective efforts of everyone in the match, somehow El Hijo Del Diablo pulls Pure X out of the bottom of the pile, rolling him under the ropes into the ring... ...and quickly scaling the ropes.] JD: Diablo's going for the Devil's Dance! He wants to eliminate Pure X! [The suicidal luchador leaps high into the air, flipping completely in a 450 splash... ...and meeting nothing but canvas!] JD: HE MISSED! HE MISSED! [With a stunned El Hijo Del Diablo at his feet, Pure X climbs up, yanking the luchador into a full nelson... ...and snapping him over into a dragon suplex!] JD: PURE IMPACT!! WHAT A DRAGON!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!! [DING DING DING] MC: El Hijo Del Diablo has been ELIMINATED! We're now down to a four on four matchup! [Not having time to grieve for his fallen partner, Matthew Judas slides into the ring like a bloodthirsty shark having spotted the meal he's been dying for and charges towards Pure X with a clothesline.] JD: Clothesli- ducked by X! [And to add further insult, Pure X dives from the ring, bailing out before Judas can get his hands on him. But Matthew Judas slides to the floor as well, chasing after the Spirit of the Revolution winner.] JD: HERE HE COMES! JUDAS IS GONNA GET HIS HANDS ON PURE X IF IT KILLS HIM! [The Prophet chases Pure X around the corner, desperate to get his hands on him... ...and as he rounds one more corner, he finds a waiting Crusher Tyler who hoists him up over his head... ...and _drives_ him down to the canvas with a waterwheel slam on the carpeted floor!] "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: A modifed spinebuster on the concrete! Yeah, there's carpet on it... but how much does that help on solid concrete?! [With a war still going on outside the ring, the Pacific Champion, Calisto Dufresne slides back into the ring, climbing to his feet to watch the throwdown outside.] JD: Dufresne's back in... [POP!] JD: BUT SO IS CITY JACK! CITY JACK'S BEHIND DUFRESNE AND HE DOESN'T KNOW IT!! [The roar of the crowd makes Dufresne realize something's going on and as he slowly turns around, eyes wide with fear... ...he gets _cracked_ with a hard Metropill that sends him sailing back into the neutral corner! Deafening pop!] JD: GET HIM, JACK! GET HIM! [With Dufresne hanging onto the top rope to stay on his feet, City Jack swiftly moves into the corner.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [A brutal forearm shot shakes Dufresne in his boots.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [A back elbow nearly makes him fall, but City Jack pulls him back up, cracking him with a headbutt that knocks him back to the corner. Holding him with one hand, Jack winds up again.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [With a roaring crowd counting along with brutal forearms to the face of the Pacific Champion, Jack backs off, allowing Dufresne to stagger into his waiting arms.] JD: BEARHUG! HE HOOKS THE BEARHUG! [Jack hoists Dufresne off the canvas, pivots, and _plants_ him on the mat with a belly to belly suplex. DEAFENING POP!] JD: METROBOOM! HE HIT THE METROBOOM! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [DEAFENING HEEL POP!] JD: DAMN HIM! Jonathan H. Smith just pulled City Jack off of Dufresne from out on the floor! He just saved Dufresne from being eliminated and what more, he cost City Jack his chance at a rematch for the Pacific Championship! [Jack rolls to the floor where Smith is arrogantly taunting the fans... ...and _drills_ the lawyer with a forearm shot that knocks him flat on the carpet! Massive pop!] JD: Yeah! The scum-sucking lawyer is down! Get back in there and finish Dufresne, Jack! Get that title shot! Get that chance to- [But as City Jack turns to move back to the ring, he finds a waiting Matthew Yates with his arm cocked.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: XLERATOR! XLERATOR ON THE FLOOR BY MATTHEW YATES! City Jack went down like a ton! He's out on the floor and Matthew Yates just bailed out Calisto Dufresne right there! [But with Dufresne's protection on the floor, Jaiden Andrews seizes his chance to scale the ropes... pauses... ...and hurl himself off the top, twisting and turning... ...and _crashing_ down across the chest of a motionless Pacific Champion! Deafening pop!] JD: PHOENIX SPLASH! HE HIT THE PHOENIX SPLASH!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [DEAFENING HEEL POP!] JD: DAMN! Dufresne got his ass saved again! And this time it's Crusher Tyler who got the job done! Crusher Tyler just cost his rival a chance at the Pacific Championship! [Jaiden Andrews rolls to the floor after a few kicks from Tyler who stands tall in the middle of the ring, arms raised... ...and oblivious to Travis Cade sliding in behind him, leaping into the air as he grabs Tyler by the hair... ...and jamming Tyler's upper back down into Cade's own knees! Huge pop!] JD: LUNGBLOWER! CADE WITH THE LUNGBLOWER!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [MASSIVE HEEL POP!] JD: AND PURE X SAVES TYLER! This is chaos in there! We've got people all over the place! I can't keep any of this straight, fans! I apologize if I seem a bit confused but- [The Spirit of the Revolution winner pulls Cade up by the hair... but Cade slaps his hand away before driving a forearm up into the underside of Pure X's jaw!] JD: European uppercut! Good grief! You could lose a tooth like that and- waistlock! [Cade hoists Pure X off the canvas in a belly to back suplex... ...but sits out in a powerbomb with him! HUGE POP!] JD: HE CALLS IT THE BUCKEYE BOMB!!! CRADLE! ONE!!! TWO!!! THRE- [HUGE DISAPPOINTED POP!] JD: Pure X gets the shoulder up! There was no one left to bail him out so he had to do it on his own! But he did... Pure X got the shoulder up and he avoided a three count! [Cade climbs to his feet, calling Matthew Judas into the ring as he hooks X's arms behind him.] JD: He's holding Pure X... Judas slaps the foot! He's finally going to get his chance to nail Pure X! After all the crap X has said over the past couple months... after refusing to face Judas in a match... after all that, it's time for this to finally happen! Come on, Judas! This is your chance... make it count! [Judas takes a step back, readying himself... ...and snaps off the Kiss of Judas superkick.] JD: SUPERKICK!!! "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: HE GOT CADE!! PURE X DUCKED AND JUDAS KICKED CADE!!! Holy god, Travis Cade got kicked all the way over the top rope and down to the floor! Matthew Judas is in shock! He can't believe he just- [A dazed Calisto Dufresne climbs to his feet and buries a boot in the midsection of the stunned Prophet, pulling him into a front facelock.] JD: NO! NOOOOOO! [Dufresne hoists Judas off the mat, _spiking_ him skullfirst to the canvas!] JD: WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM!!! ONE!!! TWO!!! THREEEEEEEEEE!!!! [DING DING DING] MC: Ladies and gentlemen, Matthew Judas has been ELIMINATED! This match is now four on three! [The sudden elimination slows everything down a bit as Travis Cade, Jaiden Andrews, and City Jack briefly huddle up outside the ring as referee Patrick Rodriguez uses the break in the action to force three members of Team Crusher out of the ring, leaving only Pure X leaning in the corner... ...and very clearly pointing right at Travis Cade.] JD: He wants Travis Cade! The Spirit of the Revolution winner wants Travis Cade in that ring with him... and he's gonna get it! The Natural rolls into the ring... oh man, this is gonna be something else. [Andrews and City Jack take their spots on the apron, Andrews cheering for Cade as he slowly moves to tie up with the technician of the other squad.] JD: These are two of the finest mat wrestlers going today, fans. This is gonna be something to see. [Pure X steps closer, staring dead in the eyes of Travis Cade.] JD: We've got a staredown here... and of course, Pure X has a few words for Cade. What a shocker that is. I'm so surp- "SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: SLAP! He slapped Travis Cade across the face! [And an irate Travis Cade drops down, looking to double leg takedown Pure X to the canvas... and doing so easily, dropping the Pennsylvania native onto his back.] JD: He got him down! He's going for a mount, going for some of that MMA training and- [But Pure X manages to wriggle under Travis Cade, avoiding any strikes from the mount and hooking an ankle.] JD: ANKLE! HE'S GOING FOR THE X! [Cade lashes out with a boot, kicking Pure X away from his ankle before the hold can be applied... and then lunging towards him, trying to hook a leg to take him down again.] JD: Going for a single leg... oh! Pure X drives an elbow down to the back of the head... one to the neck! Pure X is trying to break Cade's grip on his leg to avoid the takedown. [Then he goes one better by applying a front facelock and tugging up, putting pressure on the windpipe.] JD: Guillotine choke! Pure X is trying to choke out Travis Cade! [But the Natural grabs the wrist of Pure X, rolling out of the choke and into a hammerlock that he transitions seamlessly into a chickenwing/crossface combo. The fans roar in appreciation of the matwork as Cade switches his grip into a grounded double chickenwing.] JD: We've seen Pure X outwrestle half the roster on the mat... but I think he may have met his match, fans. Travis Cade is a former collegiate amateur wrestling star and Olympic hopeful. Pure X may have his work cut out for him here. [Still holding the double chickenwing, Cade slides his knees up to the upper back and neck of Pure X... ...then drops back with him, putting pressure on the upper body and shoulders of his opponent.] JD: Whoa! Look at that! Pure X just cried out in pain... and you can see him trying to figure out a way to get the hell out of this hold. How the hell _do_ you get out of that?! [Referee Rodriguez switches positions to check Cade's shoulders and is forced to make a count... but at the two count, Cade rolls to the side to break the pin.] JD: Cade smartly rolls to the side to avoid the three count... and now he rolls Pure X onto his stomach. [With X on his stomach, Cade flips over the top, hooking a bridging double chickenwing.] JD: CATTLE MUTILATION! Look at the pressure on the arms and shoulders! Look at- [A big disappointed pop goes up as Pure X loops a foot over the bottom rope, breaking the submission attempt. The two competitors climb to their feet, glaring at each other from across the ring as the crowd stands on their feet to pay tribute to the impressive exchange.] JD: Pure X shaking out his arm... making sure he's not injured. He's gonna tag Dufresne. [But the Pacific Champion takes one look at a waiting Travis Cade and drops down off the apron, shaking his head. An annoyed Pure X glares at Dufresne for a bit... then tags in Matthew Yates instead as Cade makes the exchange to Jaiden Andrews.] JD: In comes one of the team captains. And with only three people left on his team, he almost has to be a part of this match a little bit more. His knee says he should be out on the apron... but the circumstances state he has to be in there to fight. [Andrews shows no hesitation as he locks up in the middle of the ring with Matthew Yates... who uses Andrews' injured knee to force him back to the corner with ease.] "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" JD: Big chops by Yates, one of the hardest hitters in our locker room. Yates steps back now... "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!" [A few hard kicks to the ribcage has Andrews slumping in the corner, wishing he was anywhere else but inside the ring. Yates reaches down, pulling Andrews off the mat so he can step to the midbuckle and rain knees down on Andrews' skull.] JD: OH! OH!! OHHHHHH! Come on, referee! Get Yates out of the corner! [Finally, Yates hops down, backing away as Andrews staggers from the ropes.] JD: HEADKICK!!! [A big high kick comes up empty as Andrews ducks down to avoid it but manages to leap into the air, planting his knees in Yates' back as he pulls back on his head!] JD: LUNGBLOWER! ANDREWS TAKING A PAGE OUT OF TRAVIS CADE'S PLAYBOOK! [The crowd explodes for the desperation move... then grows louder in support as Cade tries to rally them for Andrews. But the cheers quiet a bit as Crusher Tyler reaches over the ropes, slapping the hand of Matthew Yates.] JD: In comes Tyler! He pulls Andrews off the ma- OHHHH! Big time lariat by the big man! He should cover here. [But he doesn't, instead pausing to taunt the crowd and point at their fallen hero. Both Dufresne and Pure X shout for him to cover... but he ignores them, pulling Andrews off the mat again.] JD: Oh! Hard elbow to the back of the neck... and a couple more. He's softening up his rival... here we go! He's got him up in the fireman's carry! He's set for the Death Valley- "THUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD!" "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" JD: OHHHH MY! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! THAT'S IT! IT'S ALL OVER! [Or is it? Crusher Tyler pushes up to his knees, a big grin on his face as he stares at the motionless Jaiden Andrews.] JD: He's not covering him! I don't understand! Why the hell isn't Crusher Tyler covering Jaiden Andrews?! Why the hell isn't- ohhh! He slaps him across the face! That son of a bitch! [Tyler climbs to his feet, walking over to the ropes where he screams at an Andrews fan in the front row... ...and then climbs over the ropes, leaving the ring.] JD: What the hell? Where is Tyler going? [Crusher Tyler turns to the ring where his partners are asking him the same question... ...and then he slowly backs away, waving "bye bye" as he heads for the exit of the building.] JD: I don't- what the hell is going on here? [An irate Matthew Yates is now screaming at Crusher Tyler who seems oblivious to it as he continues to back towards the exit. Referee Patrick Rodriguez looks around confused... and then does the only thing he can.] JD: No! Patrick, don't do it! Make him get back in there! Make him get back in there to keep fighting! [But Tyler continues to back up, a sick grin on his face despite Matthew Yates screaming at him from the apron. The count reaches five... then six... then seven..] JD: No! Don't end it like this, dammit! This isn't right! [Eight... Nine...] JD: Somebody... dammit, somebody do something! [Ten.] JD: Son of a- [DING DING DING] MC: Crusher Tyler has been counted out. He is ELIMINATED from this match. Your winners of the match... TEAM ANDREWS! [The crowd gives a half-hearted cheer for the news, really pissed off they were screwed out of seeing the match end the right way.] JD: This sucks, fans. I'll openly admit that this flat out sucks. Crusher Tyler screwed us all over again. How many times is Pro Wrestling Revolution going to let him main event a show and watch him walk out on his match?! I don't know what the hell is going through this guy's head, but I know that he's- [Travis Cade helps Jaiden Andrews off the mat. The J*STAR Crown winner, holding his head and neck, gestures for Melissa to hand him the mic.] JA: Crusher... [Andrews winces, out of breath as he tries to speak.] JA: After all these months... I... still don't know what the fuck you're thinking. [Tyler laughs deeply, a sick, disturbing laugh that echoes through the building.] JA: But I guess I won... even if I don't like how I won. [Andrews walks over to the ropes, glaring at the retreating former bodybuilder.] JA: So, next month... in Hollywood... I'm gonna make you bleed, Tyler. Bleed like you never have before. [He winces again, clutching his neck.] JA: Crusher... next month... you and me... for the last... fucking... time... [Andrews pauses, trying to work up the air to keep screaming.] JA: IN A CAGE!!! [DEAFENING POP! Andrews spikes the mic to the canvas... and Crusher Tyler continues to laugh as he backs away, exiting through the front door of the Elks Lodge.] JD: A cage match?! The first cage match in Pro Wrestling Revolution history... next month in Hollywood! Fans...my god... you do not want to miss that! [Andrews, Cade, and City Jack stand in the ring, watching the remnants of Team Crusher make their exit to the locker room. And we fade to black.]
