Kimmy Bailey

Kimmy is tall with an athletic build, is broad-shouldered, and has good muscular definition throughout her body. She has shoulder-length dark brown hair with blonde highlights. Much like mama Michelle, she has complete heterochromia; her right eye is brown, her left eye is light blue. She has no scars, marks, or tattoos, but she does have several piercings along her ears that she takes out when she wrestles, and she also has a pierced navel (also removed before wrestling). Her ring attire usually consists of a colorful singlet worn over a matching sports bra (think Willow Nightingale or Kendal Grey), along with kneepads and boots (sometimes wrestling boots, sometimes cowgirl boots with flat soles, depending on her mood).

Kimmy Bailey was born Bailey Nicole Martinelli on June 17, 1997, the daughter of Michelle Bailey and her partner at the time, Colby. On the day she was born she was held by Michelle's best friend, Shane Kujawa, who would later become Shane Destiny. When Michelle and Shane opted to become wrestlers in the summer of 1998, Michelle took on the last name "Bailey" as a stage name, a wink to her beloved daughter.

As Michelle traveled the world, even moreso after taking on a feminine persona in the summer of 2000, Bailey Martinelli started to find herself more around wrestling, with young wrestlers Juan Vasquez and Luke Kinsey using the Martinelli house as a place to stay in lieu of getting a hotel room while on the Knoxville circuit. When Michelle started wrestling more in Japan in 2004, she started traveling with a webcam so she could video chat with her daughter and sing her to sleep, like she had with her cell phone while wrestling in the United States. As technology grew, young Kimmy started keeping in touch with her "uncle Shane" via the webcam, as well as Juan, Juan's friend Edwin Lopez, and Edwin's young daughter Catalina. Juan treated young Kimmy as though she was a member of the family, as did his wife Marisol and daughters Lorena and Mari.

After Michelle retired in 2010, she decided that she had to transition, which caused a split between her and Colby, and Colby got custody in the impending divorce. Juan Vasquez, hearing this and having known that Michelle was a woman pretty much since he met her but not wanting to step on any toes, told Michelle that since Kimmy didn't have a father, he wanted to be there for her, and from that point forward, Juan unfailingly referred to Kimmy as his daughter.

While still living with Colby, and receiving support from Michelle and Juan from afar via FaceTime, Kimmy grew from reed-thin and shy preteen to athletic marvel, playing volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse throughout high school (upsetting Colby in the process, who wanted to see Kimmy become a pageant girl). Kimmy also took up archery as a hobby, and became quite popular in her school as someone who was easy to get along with, but you shouldn't try to anger.

In 2015, Kimmy graduated high school and moved to Massachusetts to attend Smith College, reuniting with Michelle in person, with Juan helping get her moved up to Northampton. Kimmy focused on her studies while Michelle recovered from her confirmation surgery, and mother and daughter were happy to be back together. In December 2016, as Michelle was entertaining the thought of a comeback to wrestling, Kimmy had a surprise; she too wanted to be a wrestler. Michelle asked Shane Destiny to train Kimmy, as Shane had enlisted the help of legendary women's wrestler Misaki Ishikawa at his school.

After seven months of training, Kimmy would debut under the name "Maria Spinella" alongside fellow trainee Casey Cash (a Juan Vasquez fangirl, but Kimmy never told Casey she was Juan's daughter), looking to make her name on her own so people wouldn't say she was relying on Michelle or Juan. She would pay her dues just like her mama and daddy did. At least, that's what she thought. The AWA called upon several P*WIN wrestlers to fill spots after a catastrophic travel incident led to a short roster at Homecoming 2017. Casey Cash wrestled in a trios match partnered with Misaki Ishikawa and Honey Kobayashi, but Kimmy was singled out by Laura Davis (after some urging by Kimmy's cousin, Donna Martinelli) to fill in for Davis' originally scheduled opponent, Michelle. In the process, Davis revealed that Michelle was Kimmy's mother, and in the ensuing match, Davis stretched the rookie before dropping her dangerously close to onto her head with a screwdriver, which sent her to the hospital with a stinger.

After being humiliated by Laura Davis, Kimmy went back to Misaki and said that she never wanted to go through that again, asking if there was any sort of enhanced training that she could take. Misaki said that Kimmy wasn't ready for the same kind of training that her most famous student, Miyuki Ozaki, received, but that she'd give Kimmy the next best thing... she would arrange for Kimmy to go to Japan for a few months and learn directly from Miyuki, along with her tag team partner Kyoko Yoshioka.

While in Japan, Kimmy found that Kyoko's advice was far more beneficial (Miyuki's advice was incredibly complex, sometimes bordered on nonsensical babbling, and required fully realized skills of a physical marvel like Ayako Fujiwara in order to understand, whereas Kyoko was far more practical and helpful). She also found that Kyoko taught her how to use her size and strength to her advantage, as Kyoko was of a similar size to Kimmy. Kimmy packed on an additional ten pounds of muscle to her already-sizable frame with a plan to continue building mass, as Kimmy felt comfortable at the larger size. She started to blossom as a wrestler while under Kyoko's guidance, quickly racking up more and more wins, including two major upsets over Melissa Cannon (albeit with interference by Kurayami injuring Melissa in the process) and Missy Misawa in the 2017 Empress Cup. The world also found out at the end of SuperClash X that Juan Vasquez had adopted Kimmy, and that she was both Juan and Michelle's daughter. After three months' worth of impressive performances in Japan, Kimmy returned home and found a FedEx package waiting for her... an AWA contract.

Upon making her formal AWA debut on Super Saturday in 2018, Kimmy had hoped to work her way up the ladder slowly, but an injury to Molly Bell pressed her into service as a replacement partner for Ayako Fujiwara in the Women's World Tag Team Title Tournament. Kimmy had been training with Ayako, so the two formed a strong team right out of the gates, dubbing themselves the Lariatos due to both possessing incredible lariats. The two quickly gained popularity as a team, especially as Kimmy took part in her father's retirement tour and fans got to see her personality outside of the ring. Kimmy also had a major performance at Memorial Day Mayhem 2018, the night Juan retired, as Kurayami came to attack both Lariatos, injuring Ayako but being eliminated by Kimmy. Kimmy managed to last until the final five in the match, and then embarked on a quest for revenge.

Level 99 potential. Kimmy has all the tools in the world to be a breakout superstar, from her size, strength, speed, and willingness to absorb information. She's a puppy with huge paws.
- Fearless. Raised with a mindset of "hey y'all, watch this!", Kimmy is eager to try just about anything. She's run up the turnbuckles and tried moonsaults, something you wouldn't expect from someone her size. She's got a dive in her that we can pull out for special occasions.
- Good-natured. She might slap your back a little too hard or be a bit too outgoing, but if Kimmy likes you, she LIKES you. She's a sassy Southern belle with a broad smile, and if you haven't upset her, she'll probably try to charm you. (See her constant ability to get along with Maxim Zharkov!)

Inexperience. She may have level 99 potential but she has a long way to go to fulfill it. She is prone to mistakes due to her lack of experience, and sometimes her eagerness also gets in the way of doing what someone with a few years' more experience would do.
- Family connections. The daughter of Juan Vasquez and Michelle Bailey might have some targets on her back, either from people thinking she has an unfair advantage because of her background, or thinking that they can use Kimmy to get to Michelle. Kimmy's quick to say she's her own woman, but 1) that doesn't matter to someone who needs a reason to be mad at her and 2) she's a little obtuse about the fact that she did get a bit of an edge from how many people helped her learn.
- Short temper. Kimmy Bailey is not a shrinking violet, and is quick to anger. This can lead to mistakes, ruined gameplans, or creating enemies that don't really need to be enemies. While she will calm down fairly quickly over misunderstandings, her fiery temper will more often than not lead to thrown punches than calm resolutions.
