Ricki Toughill

Ricki Toughill is not the average female wrestler. She's a little stocky and frumpy, with a boyish frame: thick hips, thighs and upper arms extend from a boxy torso. She has snowy white, pasty pale skin as befits her Black Irish lineage. After falling on the losing end of a hair vs. hair match in June 2017, her undercut is considerably shorter than it was; more of a wild combover. She has about half-a-dozen visible tattoos on her forearms, lower back, most prominently a large octopus tattoo on her right shoulder, covering the shoulder blade and upper bicep. Toughill wears ring attire that makes her look like a wayward schoolgirl: a plaid kilt with a corseted tank top, with ripped black fishnets and a pair of well-loved Converse high tops. Finally, she seems to be perpetually (and often loudly) chomping a wad of bubblegum.

Erica Toughill (rhymes with "dough hill") is a blue-collar tomboy, and like the wrestlers of yesteryear with beer guts who could wrestle an hour on a nightly basis, she is one of the strongest, most athletic women in the business. She spent most of fifteen years in wrestling flying under the radar in the Upstate New York/Southern Ontario area, with occasional jaunts to Japan, Mexico, Australia, Western Canada and the UK. Most of her early career can be defined by an unprecedented four-year losing streak as a prelim competitor from 2004-2008. This was followed by a change-up of style from "girly" technical style to stiff brawling and throws that better utilized her freaky core strength, earning her the victory in the 2009 edition of the "Angels and Amazons" battle royale and the 2011 Empress Cup in Japan. In the years since, the once "unmarketable" Queen of Club amassed credibility at an astounding rate, becoming a regular in Southern Ontario's Age of Rage promotion. She joined the AWA in 2015 on the pretense of acting as Kerry Kendrick's personal security but proved to be a ferocious addition to the roster in her own right, tearing a swath through the Women's Division before falling to Julie Somers at SuperClash in 2016. A falling out with Kendrick in 2017 seemingly ended her AWA career, but Ricki is always more resilient than she has been given credit for, and she appears poised on the cusp of legendary status. Not bad for “Mr. and Mrs. Toughill’s Little Princess,” huh?
