Athleticism. Rage is still unbelievably athletic into his 40s. He doesn’t flip as much as he used to, but he still has amazing run/jump speed and agility, hand-eye co-ordination and better than average power.

Endurance. Rage’s conditioning and pain threshold are top notch. He can go the distance. There is almost nothing spare on his body. He has survived a lifetime of hardcore wrestling crashes and diving onto people from high places without ever suffering a serious injury.

Ring Savvy. Despite his madness, Rage is very aware of everything that goes on in the ring. He instinctively seems to know where everyone is in the ring and his ring work is crisp and smooth. He is a combat pragmatist.

Unstable. Rage has always been crazy, but when crazy turns insane …

Absorbs too much punishment. Rage rarely wins fistfights and during the course of his matches absorbs a lot of his opponents offence. He takes two hits to get one in and crashes and burns a lot. Jumping off stuff takes its toll.

Shadoe Rage is the first born son of the legendary wrestling outlaw, Adrian Rage. The Rages are a legendary wresting family, all 9 children entering the business in some form or fashion. Adrian Rage was famed throughout the Canadian and American territories as a reckless and dangerous worker. He frequently went into business for himself and he wasn’t trusted by promoters. An alcoholic and addict, Adrian Rage scraped by on relatively small wrestling paydays and illegal activity during Shadoe’s younger years. He taught Shadoe his brawling style. They did not have a close relationship, however. Shadoe debuted on his own at just 16 years of age. He began as a local in the Canadian Maritimes until he could travel on his own at age 18.

He first began performing on his own in the Toronto and Alberta territories. It was in Toronto that he introduced his then girlfriend, Elena. Proving, however, to be influenced by his father’s womanising ways on the road, he left her for a British girl, Jetta. They briefly married when Rage turned 19. The marriage ended, logically, a short 10 months later. From there, Shadoe met Pizzazz Elysee on tour and they became a couple and took their act world wide. Shadoe and Pizzazz were a terrible and volatile mix. Pizzazz was a horrible influence on Shadoe. The French model sparked him to mayhem inside and outside the ring. Their fights were legendary and each was abusive towards the other. In a match in Europe Pizzazz incited a brawl that saw Shadoe go into the crowd and fight the fans. He was quickly shipped back to Canada, his singles career in ruins. He and Pizzazz then enlisted his younger brother, Derek, the 7’2 basketball centre to join the family business at age 18. This was the formation of the Prophets of Rage. By this time Shadoe and Pizzazz had divorced, a second short failed marriage, and Pizzazz and Derek infamously became a couple.

Managed by his older sister, Medusa, the Prophets of Rage became a world famous act almost immediately on their debut. Declared the best tag team in the World in 1997. They were a hot act everywhere, but were centred mostly in the Portland territory. The Prophets of Rage notably won championships in the FWLI, IIWF, SCRA, EMWC and various other promotions. The team, however, lost steam in the early 2000s, breaking up, only to come back together in the EMWC to retain the tag-team titles as the promotion closed its doors. The team reunited again in the UWF in the mid-2000s and then had two lacklustre runs in Phoenix when it was clear that the brothers no longer really cared to compete together any longer.

Shadoe had always wanted to make amends for his aborted singles career and for his father’s reputation in the business. He was trusted when backed by his family, but promoters would not push him on his own. He has had only one World title reign in the IEWA and then amongst the larger promotions a single World title match in the very first Death in Darkness match in Portland where he lost to the champion, Steve Kowalski in a hard fought match. Since then his best success was as a regional champion in a New York promotion, TSWF, winning their title twice. Rage is now looking to make it in the biggest promotion on the planet. In fact, his new love interest, Marissa Monet, went on to have far greater individual success becoming the World Champion of SPW in a controversial reign.
Rage came to the AWA trying to restart his career. His first run was brief and unmemorable. He later returned to much greater success, feuding with the likes of Donnie White, Tony Sunn and Supernova. He became the longest reigning World Television champion ever and made that belt important. His first child, Adrianna Rage, was born and he cracked again, possessed and obsessed by his father’s spirit.

A bitter feud with Jackson Haynes led to the return of his brother, Derek Rage, to the AWA. Reluctantly, the Prophets of Rage reformed at the behest of Javier Castillo. Shadoe Rage played good soldier until he saw his opening. And well … the rest is history.

Shadoe Rage steps into the smoke. The beautiful warrior is dressed in ragged monk’s cloth black hood and robes. He moves through the smoke, turning in circles. The robes fly up, showing fuchsia and gold patterned tights and magenta boots. He pulls his hood down, showing his pile of dreadlocks on top of his head. Rage peacocks down the aisle before he climbs the ring steps and slingshots himself over the top rope. The AWAtron shows image after image of the Bohemian brawler smashing into various AWA opponents with his knees, elbows and double axehandles. As he plays to the crowd he sheds the shawl, revealing his shredded light brown upper body. His right arm is covered in a long black sleeve, elbow pad and he wears a black fingerless leather glove on his right hand. His left arm is bare save for black athletic tape around his wrist, over his palm and around the tips of his index and pinky finger.

Ummmm … is crazy an alignment? Let's say chaotic neutral.
