Smasher Salazar

Salazar has long stringy black hair, and a bushy and unkempt black beard. He's stocky, with a deep tan, and has wild brown eyes that constantly dart around looking for people potentially coming for him. His teeth are stained from his ever-present wad of chewing tobacco. His ring gear usually consists of a sleeveless T-shirt and jeans, usually with holes worn throughout, and kneepads over the jeans (though sometimes he's missing a kneepad). He wears black cowboy boots, and a black bandana around his neck. He carries with him a glass Dr Pepper bottle (taped up so only the logo is present), which he uses to spit into, along with a whip.

Very little is known about Smasher Salazar's background. Here's what is known:
- He's half-white, half-Latino
- He was raised in a tiny Texas town with a strange name
- If you pay him enough money, he'll fight anyone under the sun

Very few people even know his first name. He's always paid in cash. He doesn't care if you call him a "real Texan" or a cowboy (but he sure can ride a horse). But if you need someone who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and bust some dadgum faces... Smasher Salazar's your man.

One thing is definitely known, and it's that Salazar has a history with Curly Bill Webb, both serving as his mercenary and testing out potential clients.

- Moves? Moves?! Smasher Salazar doesn't do moves. He's a crazed whirlwind of punches, kicks, stomps, strikes, and using whatever's not nailed down. Add in some screaming and shouting, along with plenty of illegal and unethical tactics like choking and gouging the eyes. Maybe he'll do a vertical suplex or a bodyslam. MAYBE. But why do that when you can just punch a guy right in the face?He does sometimes put an opponent in a half-nelson. Just so he can then throw punches at their face with no chance for them to block. But that's the extent of how technical he can get.Okay, okay, maybe he's also known for getting thrown off the apron too. And for his turn of phrase ("shut yer stinkin' piehole!" and "wait one dadgum minute!" being common). But as far as moves go, well, how can you list someone who looks like a whirlwind of flying limbs when he wrestles?

As strong as a bull. He may not do much in terms of wrestling moves, but he's unquestionably strong. This leads to whatever he does carrying a lot of impact.
- Fearless. "I once stared death in the face and spit in his dadgum eye", Salazar claims. He's probably spinning a tall tale, but he won't back down from a good fight, especially if there's money on the line.
- Creative weapon usage. He whacks people with a glass soda bottle, and he's smart enough to tape it up so if the bottle breaks he doesn't leave evidence. He may be crazy, but he sure isn't stupid when it comes to his weapons.

Absolutely no technical skills. If he knows how to do anything more advanced than a vertical suplex, he sure doesn't show it. The diving senton and the implant DDT (his finisher and MDK, mind you) represent the extent of his technical knowledge, and he seemingly has no idea of how to defend himself against a technical wrestler either.
- Little stamina. Salazar's a sprinter, not a marathon runner. If he's not in a tag match where he can rest in between bursts of offense, he's pretty much done after 6-8 minutes.
- Prone to disqualification/countout. You know what the problem with being an unhinged brawler is? You get disqualified a lot. Salazar doesn't care all that much about following a referee's instructions, meaning he sometimes won't release illegal holds before the count of five and is prone to getting counted out for brawling outside of the ring. (Though really, if he's paid to hurt someone, not win... he's doing what he's supposed to do.)
