The Blackjacks

The Blackjacks have the seal of approval of Blackjack Lynch himself. He scouted them in college at West Texas where they both played football. Lynch brought them to the Combat Corner for a tryout, helped them get signed, and participated in their training himself. They seemed on the fast track to the main roster after Lynch bestowed his own wrestling name and old tag team gimmick on them but the arrival of Korugun and Lynch being on the outs saw them get cut from CCW in early 2017, putting them out on their own.

Lynch’s contacts got them a gig in Japan where they spent all of 2017 being one of the hottest young teams in Total Japan Pro Wrestling. Their raw talent and determination had the fans solidly behind them as they tore a swath through the native teams.

While their relationship with Blackjack has helped them in a lot of ways, it also hurt them as an old rival of Blackjack targeted Sanderson in a match in the summer of 2017, putting him on the shelf with an arm injury. It is this exact injury that many feel led them to the tutelege or Bobby O'Connor. As 2018 rolls in, the Blackjacks are healthy and determined to break into the AWA tag team ranks and have an immediate impact.
