Ayako Fujiwara

Ayako looks like your typical young, wide-eyed, babyfaced Japanese girl...who has wavy metallic unicorn blue, pink and purple ombré hair that cascades down to her shoulders and an athletic, thickly muscled frame, with broad shoulders and thick thighs, forged by nearly two decades of constant, torturous training. A more vulgar person might even say she's built like a brick shithouse. But the fact is, this girl looks anything but typical...she's extraordinary.

Ayako is smart, capable, confident, disciplined and a natural-born leader. She is also...humble to a fault. She isn't overly impressed by any of the amazing things she can do in the ring(or anything else, really) and she doesn't think much about any of the praise thrown her way. She seems almost embarrassed by the attention she receives. Trained in the art of wrestling almost from the moment she could stand up and walk, Ayako's had every last bit of cockiness beaten out of her and then some.

Essentially, she is good and pure and a bright, brilliant light of justice that shines through the darkness of evil.

Although due to her lack of practical life experience, when faced with a dilemma, she often asks herself...

"What would Miyuki do?"

Uh oh.

Ayako was born into a family with a rich wrestling tradition. Her mother, Aya Kimura, was one of the most popular Joshi stars of the 1980s and is considered one of the top trainers in all of Joshi puroresu. Her father, Masa Fujiawara, is the head referee of Tiger Paw Pro. And her little brother Yoshi, long considered one of the top heavyweight prospects in all of Japan, has wrestled for Tiger Paw Pro and is currently signed to the upstart World of Combat promotion.

But Ayako eclipses them all.

A champion in freestyle wrestling at every level, Ayako's triumph in the 2012 Olympic Games only further confirmed she was destined for great things. Trained in freestyle wrestling since she was a small child, Ayako always dreamed of following in her mother's footsteps and becoming a great professional wrestler. Announcing her intentions to the world, Ayako was hailed as the next great prodigy of the sport. Under the tutelage of Miyuki Ozaki, Ayako blossomed into the great professional wrestler she always dreamed of. Since 2013, Ayako has reigned as the champion and undisputed ace of VLPW, one of Japan's largest Joshi promotions and has won the highly prestigious Empress Cup tournament twice. She is generally regarded as one of the best wrestlers - male or female - in Japan.

2. Olympic Gold Medalist in freestyle wrestling - Essentially, this means Ayako is pretty much the Queen Bitch of the Universe when it comes to grappling. This should be like 5 slots worth of strength.
3. Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling - Besides being REALLY good at wrestling this also means Ayako gains the usual physical advantages most amateur wrestlers have: endurance, durability and toughness.
4. Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling - Did I mention she's really really good at wrestling? REALLY good.
5. Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling - Like, she's so good, she once defeated eight opponents in one night. Eight!
6. Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling - A gold medal for crying outloud!

1. Brawling - Ayako is first and foremost a _wrestler_...she's not comfortable at all engaging in hardcore matches or wild brawls. Chaos does not suit her and she would much prefer to use her technical skill to win.
2. Gets lost in the moment - Ayako gets so overly aggressive when victory is within her grasp at times, that she often leaves herself wide open to flash pins and quick strike "out of nowhere" moves that she never sees coming.
3. "What would Miyuki do?" - Miyuki Ozaki is widely known as the world's greatest female wrestler and is Ayako's mentor. She is also a diabolically mad genius who routinely makes the impossible possible and almost always chooses the wildest, most unorthodox methods to achieve her goals. Let's get this out of the way right now...Ayako is NOT Miyuki Ozaki. Needless to say, due to Miyuki's influence, Ayako is prone to making inexplicable, horrific, unjustifiable, terribly disadvantageous decisions inside the ring and out.
