Long and lanky. A bit of a pot belly. Premature balding led to a shaved head at an early age. Brilliant handlebar mustache.

Laredo Morrison is somewhat of a legend in the wrestling business.

You’ve never heard of him? Mark.

To hear Laredo tell it, he’s fought in every territory that was worth fightin’ in.

One night in Dallas, he had a night out with the Lynches and told them the story of how he once beat Blackjack Lynch clean as a sheet in New Orleans in the evening and then drank the old man under the table on Bourbon Street that night. Needless to say, Laredo never worked in Dallas again… and actually had never worked there before to the best of our research.

He feuded with Hardin and Thunder. He gave Creed a glove. He called Curtis Hansen “fireballer” one night in Boston.Lare He bought Bobby Taylor his first Steson.

To hear Laredo tell it, he’s been up and down the roads of this business. He’s seen a million places and he’s rocked them all.

These days, he’s battling father time but the place is sold out, they’re hangin’ from the rafters, and he’s about to tear the place down, brother.

But is he? Some say Laredo is much younger than he’s letting on. Some say he’s barely getting into the business. Some say “this whole business is a work, brother.”

Hell, we’re not even sure how he got hired.

Gold-tinted sunglasses are down on the tip of his nose as he strikes a comical double bicep pose for the fans.
