imi Jam Jester is a unique fellow. To see him, you would think he’d be better off behind the mic at a club, belting out 80s metal cover songs than he would in the ring. And there’s a good reason for that. You see, Jimi Jam Jester is a rock star… well, sort of. While in wrestling school at the age of 21, his band hit the mother lode and got signed to a major label. He quit wrestling and became a rock star. His band had an album come out to great commercial success… and then they promptly imploded in a world of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Tired of playing state fairs and “Where Are They Now” shows, Jester has returned to his other childhood love… pro wrestling.

While trolling around the AWA locker room looking for a job, he runs across Laredo Morrison who… not surprisingly at all… is in love with Jimi’s band. Morrison becomes the epitome of a hanger-on, following Jimi wherever he goes, laughing at all his jokes, and telling horribly fake stories about his pro wrestling past that has Jimi enthralled.

Together, they are… The Band. And yeah, they’ve got an entourage. What are their names? Don’t worry about it. They’re with The Band.
