Takeshi Mifune

Mifune is a thick, stocky Japanese male who wears simple black trunks and short black boots with white tape on his wrists. He has a pineapple-like stalk of hair on the top of his head styled upwards in a samurai topknot while the rest of his head has been shaved into the designs of various swirls, resembling the wind and clouds in ancient Japanese art.

He is not a good-looking man. He has a hardened, weathered face that’s been beaten into ugliness by decades of non-stop fighting. He has a smile that only a hockey player can love, as he’s missing several teeth.

To put it in simplest terms, Takeshi Mifune is a complete and total psychopath. In Japan, he is referred to as “the worst person in existence” and that is a title well earned. There is no kindness or empathy to be found in this man, just pure chaos and violence.

Mifune is a fearless warrior monk who has devoted his entire existence to combat. His urge to fight strong opponents and relish in the violence of battle has left myriads of broken bodies in his wake. No one is safe from him. He is ferocious and merciless, even when his opponents are clearly outmatched. Above all, he longs for an adequate challenge – the "ultimate strong opponent".

Despite his intense hunger for battle and seemingly endless appetite for violence, Mifune has expressed great melancholy at his own strength, as he is often too powerful to find adequate adversaries. For those who survive their encounters with him, and prove themselves to be worthy opponents, Mifune has nothing but respect. He holds anyone who can harm or even defend themselves against him in great esteem, such as Bret Grayson and Supreme Wright.

As a student of both Roosevelt Wright and Prince Izumi, Takeshi Mifune’s wrestling pedigree is second to none. He further enhanced his credentials by taking a decade long excursion into the world of mixed martial arts, becoming one of the pioneers of the sport. However, it is not his success or skill that makes him famous.

It’s the stories. The stories of his sadism. His brutality. The violence he wreaked upon students, wrestlers and civilians alike. He is pro wrestling’s boogeyman. A man who’s name can strike fear in the heart of even the most hardened wrestler.

Mifune’s reputation precedes him. For the last thirty years, he has built a legend that paints him as being a sadistic mat-wrestling genius whose only joy in life is to brutally destroy an opponent.

It only takes a few minutes for anyone who watches him wrestle to realize that everything they’ve heard about him isn’t true.

3. Experience - With 30 years of experience, over 50 fights in mixed martial arts, and dozens of title reigns under his belt, there are few, of any active wrestlers who can match Mifune’s mastery of combat sports.
